Shivers as always...out of the hundreds of bands I have seen over the years no one has managed to give a performance like The Frames. They do every performance as if its their last, so much passion and soul. Glen Hansard is an amazing frontman funny, charasmatic and always gets the crowd going....absolute legends!
Back in 2008 I knew about The Swell Season because of Once but I hadn't heard of The Frames because barely anybody knows them here in Canada, anyway I stumbled upon this video and had my mind completely blown, spent the entire weekend watching Frames videos and was hooked. Four years later I saw Glen and co. for the first time on Sunday, they played this song and I damn near cried haha
I've seen it performed with Marketa twice in the last 3 months. Now I'm collecting all the versions I can find. Great song, and fun to see it performed different ways.

haha sure the last 3 times was unintentional, they were just playin at certain festivals around here. small place :P if you go to the black box in galway city, or even whealans in dublin you'll defo bump into them afterwards,awful sound :)
