Works good goes into the slots when the stock is locked in and takes all the wiggle out. Start with 1 first until you find the right thickness amd then use the other one. Twizzers or the blade of a knife work the best to put them in the slot.
at 4:30 have you tried to see if the J Mac customs skelotonized stock is able to fit in the strike dual folding adapter? im curious if it does. Ive been meaning to order some from j Mac to try it myself but if you have any info that helps. Id appreciate it
The JMac stock does not fit in the SI adapter as is. You may be able to modify the JMac stock but you would need to shave the aluminum down on the back end.
at 9:45 there was some play noted in the mechanism...when shouldered how did it feel? flimsy at all? thin alum I could see it being potentially moving under your shoulder pressure quite a bit when your locked in looking down the sights. Curious your opinion. thanks.
Yeah there is more movement then I would like. It seems that in order for it to “dual” folding there needs to be some extra room in the hinge. I’m going to take it out and do some shooting with it and see how noticeable it is.
I have been trying to decide between the Jay Mac and the strike industries, which one do you prefer? I plan on using the cheek riser on either one I get.
That Fab defense handguard was pretty nice but the vertical grip I had on it was getting I. The way of magazine changes so I modified an AK extended handguard to use instead. ruclips.net/video/Zv6PbATe6LY/видео.htmlsi=tT_CQDFmFKcBCO7i
My gun shop sold this to me as a folding brace so that I don’t have to SBR it. So is that correct that this is a folding brace not a folding stock thus making it legal for my Ak pistol? Thanks.
It’s perfect for me with the LOP. It does have a little play in it but when I’m actually shooting it I can’t feel it. I will have a video up next week with some slow motion video to see how much it moves while firing.
Does anyone know if the SI picatinny adapter works with the PSA JAKL upper? It would be super righteous if it does, considering I've already purchased the SI adapter and it would save me another $Buck to not have to purchase PSA stock adapter.. And I second the notion, SI gets slept on, even though they have found the perfect balance of esthetics and functionality/reliability.
The JAKL adapter has a rubber gasket O ring inside of the end plate that works as a buffer . If you can find a way to install something like with the SI then it may work.
i bought this, and the things that i like most are, light weight.. easy of folding.. both side folder capability. it's not bad.. i like it so far.. i put it on my MPX for now.. may get more for my other 1913 rear ended guns
Strike industries is pretty innovative with their products and they keep everything at an affordable price. My only concern is it has a little bit of a wobble.
@@combatreadychannel little bit of wobble does not bother me so much while i do prefer rock solid. if it folds on me.. i will be ask for my money back. but until then, it seems alright so far.
It does have some play in it but I can’t feel it when I’m shooting. I’ll have a video up with some slow motion reels to see how much it actually moves while firing.
As long as the JAKL has the 1913 rail on the back. If you get it with the F5 MFG folding stock option then you will have to buy another end plate. This has the F5 MFG stock. ruclips.net/user/shortsA-uha90bo18?si=ENFJ4IauDxVH30KE
Fyi the rubber pads go in the locking mechanism to increase lock up tension and reduce wiggle
Nice!! Thank you. Where did you find that out? Mine didn’t come with any instructions.
@@combatreadychannel i figured it was a shim with the tiny mil increments

@@combatreadychannelthey have an install video
the little rubber pieces are for mitigating the “play” that’s causing the wobble
Yeah, did a fallow up video on that.
Strike industries Dual folding stock, it wobbles!

Refried beans is the only way to afford more arms
My gun addiction has created a refried beans addiction!
Way too much play but oh well it looks cool
And I can’t even notice it once I’m shooting. So no big deal.

I do also talk about it a little more in the full video on the Rumble channel. Link in the video description
I love AKs. I only own a few non-aks... But god damn is the vz an ugly ass gun.
I have been trying to decide between the Jay Mac and the strike industries, which one do you prefer? I plan on using the cheek riser on either one I get.
Will it be for the VZ58 or a different rifle platform?
That’s a badass vz58, I have one also with that same handguard.
That Fab defense handguard was pretty nice but the vertical grip I had on it was getting I. The way of magazine changes so I modified an AK extended handguard to use instead.

that is interesting. i dont know if i would ever need to switch it from one side to the other on the same gun but it is nice to have the option.
I don’t either but it’s nice that you can get one stock that can fold to your preferred side.
My gun shop sold this to me as a folding brace so that I don’t have to SBR it. So is that correct that this is a folding brace not a folding stock thus making it legal for my Ak pistol? Thanks.
As long as it is in the arm brace configuration with the “blade” on the back and not the “Buutstock” attachment, then you are good.
@@combatreadychannel sorry I’m a newbie. What is the arm brace configuration with the blade?
Disregard. I watched your video again and now know the difference thanks
The LOP looks kind of long. How is it? Very lame that it does not have length adjustment for something that is set up to be a stock.
It’s perfect for me with the LOP. It does have a little play in it but when I’m actually shooting it I can’t feel it. I will have a video up next week with some slow motion video to see how much it moves while firing.
Think I’m gonna stick with JMacs…
Those are good stocks too

Yes it does
Makes it look decent I had no idea they sold optic rails and stuff for those
Yeah, there are a few online stores that sell them. The main one I used is zahal org. Some of the upgrades make a pretty big difference.
This video goes over everything that I have on mine

Is the "arm" component aluminum or polymer?
The attachment and arm are aluminum and the buttstock and arm brace are polymer.
@@combatreadychannel bad ass! Thanks for the response!
You’re welcome
Very similar to my SBA tactical folding brace. I like it! Thanks for the Rumble mention.

Which ones longer jmac or strike indistries ? Also which feels more durable ?
The strike industries is a little bit longer and the Jmac seem more durable.
@@combatreadychannel thank you
You’re welcome
Does it come with the cheek riser?
You have to buy it separately.
Very cool
Been liking for something like this. Now just gotta find somewhere that has it in stock. Thank you.
This is a pretty awesome brace, great find!
Yeah, strike industries makes some pretty cool stuff.
Just ordered one. Thanks for the video!

Cool
This thing is awesome
What stock is that attached to the sig extension?
That is the NcStar VISIM tactical milspec stock
Im sure it'll fit on a PSA jakl right?
As long as the JAKL has the 1913 rail on the back. If you get it with the F5 MFG folding stock option then you will have to buy another end plate.
