- It’s time for the most intense Leg Workout you’ve seen all year.
Back in March, we flew Jason ‘Broku’ Lowe out to California to train Legs with the Golden Eagle himself, OSL Ambassador Tom Platz.
Broku is about to compete at the 2019 Mr. Olympia in Classic Physique. This leg session’s main purpose was to set the tone for his Olympia prep.
What ensued was a life-changing workout for Jason, where he found out that Tom Platz doesn’t train legs. He destroys them.

Goggins is a clown. Pushing yourself into a point of hurting yourself isn't "badass" It's just moronic. The dude has severe mental health issues.
They have different mentality’s one is purposely putting there self in pain for the reward one is pushing there self in pain for the pain

Goggins wouldn’t mind but he’d rather have most reps or distance with manageable weight.
Platz legit had one of the most perfect squat techniques I have ever seen in my life. 30 rep sets with over 300lbs and the last rep was always as perfect as the first.

This whole notion that the last rep has to look as good as the first is bullshit, you should deviate from perfect form to squeeze as much as you can out of the muscle at the end or you are simply not trying hard enough
I would park in the handicap parking space before the leg workout, because I would need a wheelchair after this leg session

Tom is a great trainer. He tries to calm him down in the beginning, taking the intensity down a few notches because he could tell he was nervous. He established a base, and then turned it up to level 100 right at the appropriate time. Amazing.

One of Platz’s friends trained me back in my early 20’s. All of this brings back the memories. He told me Platz would take 75% of his body weight & squat for 15 minutes. Jim got me to do it with 135 & it was hell like I had not felt before.

Tbf there's a point where it becomes highly endurance training. Doing squats with just your body weight will hurt even the strongest people.

I woke up today surprisingly and unexpectedly excited for leg day, and this is only increasing the hype

I made up my own Tom Platz style workout. Every workout I did was at least 30 reps. I did 55 reps on leg press and I literally couldn't stand. I had to pick my leg up with my arms to get out of the leg press. Same on curls and extensions. It has been like 40 minutes and they are still tight and pumped up. Absolutely insane.
I did something similar with curls I started with my normal weight did that till failure then halved the weight went to failure again then halved it again till failure by the end I could barely lift the naked bar 😅 my arms where stiff for a solid 4 days
I think having Tom Platz as a personal trainer is an honor to both the machine and me.
