A few days ago my wife turned 40. She’s been fighting stage 4 cancer since she was 27. Since then we’ve been married fostered then adopted a daughter and moved to a new city to start a new life. She’s recently been placed in hospice. She and I grew up charismatic but are also able to look at things with objectivity. I wouldn’t say we are very superstitious. It’s looking like any day now I won’t have her in my life anymore but her family is still very adamant that she will get healed. Pray for me guys I want to keep her hopeful yet also explain to her that healing isn’t always Gods will for us. I want to get this message across while she can still understand me. Idk just pray for me. I don’t want her to die with a mindset that doubts God for not healing her.
I will help you pray. It's a terrible struggle because I dealt with the same thing with my grandma. The Holy Spirit will help her understand

One can be paralyzed bodily. But many too can be paralyzed within. Indeed Christ is the True Healer of both Body (without)and Soul (within). Great testimony.

Great testimony from the Strange Fire conference. I remember that. Just a bit concerned though. Jon Erikson Tada was one of the signers of the Manhattan Declaration. That being the case, just a bit concerned about joining forces with her by promoting her after making that unwise decision. Some less discerning believers may begin to follow her and find themselves believing the falsehood contained in the Manhattan Declaration. A bit concerned about this, to be sure.
What is the Manhattan Declaration? If you don’t mind me asking.
I don’t see what is false in the Manhattan declaration. Can you explain what is false there? I’ve had a look and it seems fairly standard beliefs
Thank you So much Brother for this teaching. I pray primarily to God our Father in Name Of God the Son Christ through God the Spirit. I don't pray intentionally to God the Son or to God the Spirit. Is there something wrong please do tell me Brother.

11:50 God bless you Joni ... however the law cant be mixed with grace. Your spirit is saved, marked by God and sealed forever. 12:12 You have a new heart and their is no wickedness any longer in the new man ... the old Adam yes ... but not the new man in Christ ... how can it live with Christ? He has cleansed you from every sin by one sacrifice for all time. He absorbed and paid for your sin past present and future Joni. You are no longer a wicked sinner but a child of God cleansed, pure and holy. IF you were not Jesus would not live in you. You can touch the emotions of those who are ignorant of who they are in Christ ... this is what holds back people from recieving by faith ... by teaching them that they are wicked sinners with wickedness in thier hearts ... yes in Adam but no longer in Christ. He also cares about your physical body. He healed the man with the withered hand then and He heals the woman with the withered arm today. His promises cannot be broken ... if they are then He will utterly be destroyed for failing to fulfill His promises. God swore to Himself as He could not find anyone greater than Him. All His promises and YES and Amen in Christ. Dont let Costii Hinn rob you of faith for healing. JEsus is the Healer and He remains so as long as He lives.
Seems like Joni has an immense trust in the Lord. Why has God not healed her body? What does Joni need to do to twist Gods arm enough to get him to do what she wants? Is it Joni’s fault she has not been healed? Is God waiting for Joni to say the right words or pray the right prayer? Seems like she is content whether healed or sick, whether rich or poor (Philippians 4:11-13).
The Apostle Paul did not seem to agree with your theology on healing either in 2 Corinthians 12:7-9
[7] So to keep me from becoming conceited because of the surpassing greatness of the revelations, a thorn was given me in the flesh, a messenger of Satan to harass me, to keep me from becoming conceited. [8] Three times I pleaded with the Lord about this, that it should leave me. [9] But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.”
@@lovetr8159 funny people like your self always use one scripture to back their stance that God doesnt heal ... why not the scriptures all through JEsus ministry? Oh forgot that puts a dent in your "theology". What about those healing in the book of Acts ... oh yeah forgot about those too!
Joni's new book "The Practice of the Presence of Jesus" is very troubling, to say the least. New Age mysticism, spiritual formation, Contemplative Prayer, companion book to Brother Lawrence's false teachings. Where is discernment these days? Sad.
