  • In this episode, Costi Hinn shares the 3rd message in this summer series and it focuses on the kind of preaching every Christian should unapologetically expect from a faithful preacher. Our preacher is Dr. Steve Lawson, this particular sermon is from Shepherd’s Conference in 2019, and was instrumental in Costi's own desire to preach the Word in a pulpit for the rest of his life. It will help any believer understand the importance of preaching and what to expect of their church and pastors.

God showed me who’s teaching to follow by showing me how well versed John is in properly teaching & preaching God’s Word. Thankful for John MacArther!

I learned so much from John MacArthur after coming to the realization that I took many verses out of context and did not understand scripture. He was, among others, who I learned from when renewing my mind from the charismatic movement.

I have been so blessed & thankful to be a member at a church that is now world renowned GRACE LIFE in Edm. It is known because God chose to set it as beacon not because of location or who attends but because he called Pastor James Coates to be the leader teacher & shepherd & to w/ zeal & boldness preach the truth of Gods word & not letting anyone (gov) take that from us. God has blessed our fellowship so much that looking forward to Sundays is so exciting just to go & listen to what God has to say through James. God is so good & over the last few yrs there has never been a time where my hope has flickered or there was any doubt in God’s graciousness & kindness. Like I have heard Dr Lawson say “give us some men who will preach the truth” our world desperately needs them. I pray God raises up men that will take to pulpits for Christ alone✝️🙏

What puzzles me greatly is that there are so many preachers/teachers and yet there is a tremendous amount of division among them. Scripture states, few of you should be teachers - also how can you preach unless you are sent. My discernment is that the majority of preachers are not sent else they would not teach different things. Scripture also mentions - you have one teacher who is the Christ who will give you the Holy Spirit who teaches you all things. Each person has direct access to our Lord, there is no middle human. If you trust man you will be damned.🙏💕

Calvin ... you but not you will be saved. Heresy. In Calvins own words " Predestination we call the eternal decree of God, by which He has determined in Himself what would have to become of every individual of mankind. For they are not all created with a similar destiny; but eternal life is fore-ordained for some, and eternal damnation for others" Step away friend.

Friend, I encourage you to take a look at Romans 9. I’ll leave verses 10-24 in the ESV here but I highly recommend reading the whole chapter in your Bible. Please know that election and God’s sovereignty is not Calvinistic, but Biblical. The vast majority of people who appreciate Calvin’s work, do not appreciate it because John Calvin said it, but because he believes the Bible. I encourage you to read this over and pray that the Spirit of God will give you discernment. God Bless!
“And not only so, but also when Rebekah had conceived children by one man, our forefather Isaac, though they were not yet born and had done nothing either good or bad-in order that God’s purpose of election might continue, not because of works but because of him who calls-she was told, “The older will serve the younger.” As it is written, “Jacob I loved, but Esau I hated. What shall we say then? Is there injustice on God’s part? By no means! For he says to Moses, “I will have mercy on whom I have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I have compassion.” So then it depends not on human will or exertion, but on God, who has mercy. For the Scripture says to Pharaoh, “For this very purpose I have raised you up, that I might show my power in you, and that my name might be proclaimed in all the earth.” So then he has mercy on whomever he wills, and he hardens whomever he wills. You will say to me then, “Why does he still find fault? For who can resist his will?” But who are you, O man, to answer back to God? Will what is molded say to its molder, “Why have you made me like this?” Has the potter no right over the clay, to make out of the same lump one vessel for honorable use and another for dishonorable use? What if God, desiring to show his wrath and to make known his power, has endured with much patience vessels of wrath prepared for destruction, in order to make known the riches of his glory for vessels of mercy, which he has prepared beforehand for glory-even us whom he has called, not from the Jews only but also from the Gentiles?”
      - Romans 9:10-24
