- Keke Wyatt is doing what she does best....sanging. She belts a Bb5 with ease. There is no telling how high her range extends. I will be making an updated video of Keke later on, so be on the look out.
The agility though! 🙌🏾 You can hear how she lightened up the weight on it. I wonder how it would sound at full power 🤔

The crazy part to me is that it doesn't even she like she was trying. So effortless! Best vocalist hands down.
I always figured her belting range went that far...
She probably could belt up to a D6 if she wanted to.

I always thought Keke was Beyonce's soprano equivalent
they both share the same type of ability and proficiency in all the registers (Beyonce's training make her a bit more polished), it's just that Beyonce as a mezzo means that her voice is placed a 3rd lower than Keke..whose a true lyric soprano
TBH, I think Keke may be an intermediate voice type, lirico-spinto. Her voice from E5 on up is enormous and eclipses many sopranos, not small sopranos either. She has an not too warm, not too cold vocal color as well. Then again, she could just be a full-lyric. Can't quite tell you. Her voice is an enigma.

i dnt see it. lol i think beyonce is much more diverse vocally than keke. i also dont think keke is a true soprano. i think she is a lyric mezzo who has learned to mix really well. i wish that beyonce would incorporate more mixing in her upper range bc her head voice is sick and so is her chest voice. but she rarely if ever mixes. its all straight chest or head. lol
Justin Webber well that’s impossible. When belting high like that you would have to switch from your natural chest voice to your mix of head and chest. It’s humanly impossible to sing that high in full chest! Beyoncé would’ve lost her voice a decade ago if she wasn’t already mixing chest and head in the high notes. She has one of the best mixes in the business and for a mezzo, she has proven to be versatile when it comes to song selection! True mezzo with soprano range!

Your mixed voice and belting is the same thing for people getting it confused....A mix can be either head dominant or chest dominant its an admixture of both....Shes a Dramatic Soprano so Ik she must have had a Bb5 in her repertoire.

Are you trying to say it sounds more heady/head-dominant mix? Because when belting above F4, everything's mixed using a variety of chest-to-head ratios
neworleans504fresh i know all that boo, lol 😘. and I'm saying it was more mixed than a belt (due to the weight and tessuritura) the highest note she can belt is a g#5. VERY few full sopranos can belt up to a b5.
CKFIERCE1 if it isn't mixed, then it technically isn't a belt. It'd be either head voice or falsetto. What KeKe did was neither of the two. It was mixed. I guess depending on who's listening, they'd say it was heady/head-dominant. But what do you mean by full sopranos? Full-Lyric Sopranos or bigger voiced sopranos in general? Because Lisa Fischer is a Full-Lyric Soprano who has belted up to C#6. And Dramatic Sopranos like Patti Labelle and Monica Naranjo have belted C6s, with Patti going to D6. Falcon Sopranos like Aretha Franklin and Vanessa Amorosi have belted up to C#6/D6. Chaka Khan has belted a B5 (not sure if she's a Falcon Soprano or a Dramatic Mezzo), and Dramatic Mezzo Anatascia has went up to B5 in mixed voice. You see, voice type is only part of it. Having a solid technique can do wonders, regardless of vocal fach.
