So this literally just happened to me and it hurt like hell but what I did was clean it really well on the front and back and then I grabbed the stud and with my other fingers I grabbed the backing and slowly pulled it out and then I cleaned it again I hope that helped a lil bit.
You would not believe my gratitude to you right now! I was stressing and fretting over breaking skin and bleeding when trying to remove mine! I doubted this method, but, pinched hard and tried it; It worked! Thank you, so much for teaching this to us!
My backing was extremely stuck. I tried this but it felt like the backing was going to pill into the hole. So I grabbed the cardboard that some new earrings were on, cut a line into a small piece of the board, slid it around the bar and used it as a barrier between the back of my ear and the backing. It worked great! Provided extra support for the backing to push off of. Thanks for your video. It helped me come to this idea.
OMG! I have trying every video to get my stuck earrings out and to be honest I doubted this trick but HOLY COW it worked!!!!!!!!! No pain. No way the earring or myself could rib my ear in the process! You're a life saver! Thanks a bunch!
I had my piercing in for about 14 weeks which was way more than what was recommended. And when I finally tried to remove them, the butterfly back would budge. My sister tried twisting the butterfly to see if it will come off. But that didn't work. She then tried yanking it, which was horribly painful. I'm so glad I came across this video. This method worked just fine. Took about 2 seconds for it to work. No pain at all, which I'm absolutely glad about! Thank you for posting this. I don't know how else I could have removed the backs without experiencing pain!
I just finally removed my Piercing Pagoda 'safety clutch' earring backs. I got mine off by doing one thing: looking at the backing! When I did this, I saw that the backing was tilted toward the side, so I was trying to remove the earring at an angle! No wonder it wouldn't budge! I used my forefinger and my thumb to straighten it, and then used toilet paper to grasp the earrings. MAKE SURE YOU ARE NOT PULLING AT AN ANGLE!! Mine are off now and I am so much happier :)
Thank you for this video. Once I finally get this piece off I can't wait to put on in easier back piece. I tried pulling it our to the point I started bleeding. I don't understand why would they make something like this so difficult to get off
OMG! Thank you so much for posting this method! I have been trying to get stuck earrings out for like 2 months and I was ready to try to cut them off! Your method worked!
If you really can't get it off, try a piercing shop (listed with tattoo and/or piercing). They usually have very fine cutters and are used to helping people remove stuck jewelry.
It took a lot of tries but finally got it. I have been seriously trying to take off my earing for the past hour because I was scared it was gonna hurt, it hurt but not as much as moving my earing for an hour trying to get it off and then stopping. Thank you so much!!!!
This method worked for me! I couldn't fit my fingers in between so I used a (new and clean) hair tie and just pressed on it and it worked, thank you!☺️👍
THANKYOU SO MUCH had my ear studs in since i got them done about 4 years ago ahaha never been able to get them out!!! finally got a pair of lil gold hoops in, praise you
Sweet it worked! I've been trying for days to get this thing off my ear! How'd you think of that though? Doesn't seem like it really makes much sense, you're a mad genius!
Thank you so much I tried EVERYTHING and it still wasn’t coming of and when I did this it came of straight away it was a bit painful but definitely worth it thank you
I couldn't get my wife's starter ear rings off she was freaking out bad. I was able to get her ear rings off the first try with your helpful video Thanks so Much!!!!
this worked for me, it was easy and painless (well painless for my ears) iv had the piercing for over a year and could never get the earrings out, now i can this method worked really well for me.
THANK u so much .My gold earing was really stuck and even my parents tried take it off but it never worked. Now it totally came off in like 1 minute.THNX
hi just watched this video. A few weeks ago I got a second ear piercing and I have been trying to take it out for sooooo long. This technique help me so much it came of easier than first earring. Thank you!! 💗
Omg I thought it was gonna be fricking painful but I tried it anyway and it came off with no pain at all like omg I’m so happy thank you so much I really recommend
mine were really stuck like i had them pushed all the way it hurt to lay down. watched this and thought “wtf😒” after a few minutes of research that said “must see a professional” i thought to try this and it worked. thank you’
Omg this actually worked! I’ve been trying for more than a week by pulling at both ends and the earrings wouldn’t budge and my baby would cry, I tried this once and no pain and it came off super quickly! Thank you!!!
I have been stuck with my starter earrings for around 10 weeks because the earrings backs were securely latched onto the earrings. I have been trying to remove my starter earrings for 3-4 weeks already, yanking both sides really hard, asking a stronger person to help me, and even using the bobby pin method. Unfortunately, those methods failed me and I tried this method today. It took me a couple of tries to get my earrings off, and I had to pinch really hard between the earring front and my lobe (pushing my lobe with my thumb and second finger while simultaneously pulling with the tips of my thumb and second finger). Although I was scared to use this method because I thought it would cause my piercings to beleed, I am so glad this method worked and only hurt to the degree of my hard pinching. Thanks!
woo! i got one out! the other ear is still sore from all my tugging and pulling! i'm going to let it rest for a while and tomorrow i'll pop that thing out! thanks so much!
do u recommend it to be done with a cartilage piercing also? i've tried everything including your technique and it still would not come off? any suggesstions? thanks
Thank you for this method i tried every other for over 20 minutes up until i found this video it slipped off very quick and was not painful such a relief!
Thank u very much i was tryin from a long time to remove it and was afraid it wouldnt come off for ever but thanks to u i could remove it witout any efforts... :)
WOW! u are a true genius i was actually trying to remove my earring but was having difficulties with it.. and when i watch your video to be honest at first i was like really?? this is not gonna work.. so i tried it.. omgahd i felt dumb LOL! THANK YOU FOR HELPING ME OUT!
This method didn't work for me. However, I was able to remove mine after soaking the back of my ear with hot water and then using tweezers. I had to pull on it a few times, but eventually the back popped right out! I think the backs were screwed on too tight (they were right against my ear). If you want to try this method, it didn't hurt, I promise. It might hurt a little when you are initially pulling on the backing with the tweezers, but when it comes out it you barely feel anything.
I have been trying to get mine out for day! I've been pulling and pulling and hurting my ears! I tried this and it worked the first time! That you so much!!!
Omg thankyou i've been trying for 5 days, I'm a 14 year old guy and got mine 5 weeks ago and just now taking off and when I pulled It hurt pretty bad. So I tried your method but it didn't work, so I did what you did again BUT INSTEAD I grabbed the little circular platform of the back (not the actual clamp) the part directy pressing on the back of your ear, and I pinched and pulled the front and it slipped right off ! :D (only the back piece) thanks
I tried on and off for three weeks to remove my earrings, and NOTHING worked except this. You need to get your fingers underneath the earring to get a grip on the stud itself.
Would it be okay to grip onto the back, and pull the front out as opposed to taking the back off? (of course while holding the back, so that once the front is off, the back is free too.) I, for the love of this planet, can't pull on the back of my earring because the grip is so poor (the back is not like the one here. it looks just like a small plastic bead without a hole at the other end). I can only grip it hard enough to keep it in place; not pull on it.
The first time I did it hurt. But it came off easily it hurts the first time or so but you get use to it. In my opinion this is a great way to remove earrings thanks!😊
The first time I got my ears pierced my mother tried to take them out after trying for quite a bit of time we went back to claires they said on the back where the two little circles are or whatever you want to call them you push them close together then with your other hand pull out the earring but make sure the back doesn't go to close to your ear. This was years ago but that was how we got mine out
i think i have them pierced earrings but my back clip seems a tiny bit different with the way it touches my ear, anyhow iv had them in for 6 months and have not taken them out at all and there completely stuck. iv tried your way to get them out but man they wont budge. i dont want to waste $15 bucks plus silly postage and handling buying one of the EZ remover things. is there any of possible way to get them off ??
@carapop97 No, I told her to hold really still or else it would hurt. It's not going to be comfortable especially if the earlobe is swelling around the earring. If it looks infected, it should be taken to a doctor to be cut off rather than squeezing the infection through the earlobe.
OMG thank you so much , it worked !! I had my cartilage done and I couldn't take the back out and I tried so many times to take it out and it wouldn't work and when I say this video , I tried it , and it worked amazingly . Thank you so much (:
@FashionLover2121 Shouldn't be different. Just pinch it on the diamond part as close to your earlobe as you can get it. You should be able to feel the post thru the back of your earlobe.
thank you for this.the earring you have, looks or is the same as the one i had my ears pierced with, and it sucks.the post is so thick, and its so hard to take out.i just took one out that was mid-stuck in my earlobe, and i had to cut my fingernails so i can grip on it, but one finger i used my nail to grip it.and now i have 3 more to go.-____-.
I've had earring sice i was in year 2/3 i am now in year 9 and still cannot get my earrings out, they aren't piercers i got them done with the guns, i havent taken them out once and tonight my ear has gone black and i can't get them out, im starting to get scared, i've tried this and its not working, can you suggest anyhting else please, emma xxx
Even if this video is eight years old, it was still very helpful. Thanks to you I was able to get my cartilage piercing out with ease!
Our ears are not like foam
Angela Ho it's a demonstration dumb ass

So this literally just happened to me and it hurt like hell but what I did was clean it really well on the front and back and then I grabbed the stud and with my other fingers I grabbed the backing and slowly pulled it out and then I cleaned it again I hope that helped a lil bit.
It does work it got my backing out that was stuck for 5 months

+Armani LaVigne
I tried it and i almost pulled the front through the hole in my ear
This looks really dangerous , im not even gonna try that , you'll end up getting an infection...
No you won’t I just tried it and I didn’t get an infection and it didn’t hurt at all
This worked for me! And I’ve had this stuck in my ear for such a long time. Thank you!!!
Thanks for the tip! My ear was a little red from bumping it too much and the swelling made it tough to grasp.
12 years later and this worked!! Thank you

Thank you soo much.
I tried doing your method, but when I pull the tip of the stud it feels like my bottom ear is gonna rip apart.
Probabaly wont help you right now considering this was 11 years ago, but i would try holding the front and strongly pull on the back.

Thank you so much i was freaking tf out but luckily i tried this and it worked,it took some courage but i did it:)
