I see my mark one have unique stealth abilities
It has more optional compartments then it's crappy Mark 2 sibling has 7A power plant 7A powered distributor
It has a good layouts
I know a python Mark 2 has two more utility mounts and one large extra hardpoint
That's good and good but we get to a ship that has compartments lacking there's no three size six compartments there's no 2 size 5 it does have one size 4 compartment compartment like a Mark 1 OG LEGACY
But there's no two size 3 compartments
There's no 1 size 2 and 2 size 1
And you don't have a size 5 fuel tank in core internals
So I know a python Mark 2 is a waste of credits and a waste of ARX
I got the python mk2 myself, it seems to be really good a stealth ship.
I like the sound of that.
It would take 82.5 weeks to make 33k arcs. You will need to play 43 weeks to get the regular python mk2. I will wait til August, thank you very much

I think you do have the thrusters blueprint pinned, but it's named ENGINES in the pinned list I believe and which you realised later on when at Farseer Inc. Thanks for stream too.
Yeah I did realise it eventually, haha. But at least I got to add the experimental at Farseer.

If they want more people to buy ARX, they should do a limited time sale.

So, just purchased the expensive version. Be careful, there's a basic version of Python II available. They kinda hide it. You can't change the paint job. If you have a fleet standard color scheme, too bad. I, for one, will not engineer a locked module. So, I have a mostly useless hanger queen.
You can take the modules out, I know, I have done it. I kept the Frameshift Drive and dumped a load of stuff. You can change the paintjob also as they sell them.

I would like to see what your new ship with no mods can do, as a comparison to a toaster which a newbie gets. 2:59:33
If my wife started playing the game, she would have to buy the complete game set up. And that means she has the little toaster as afirst ship.

The optional internals ... is that a joke ? Only 1 class 6, 1 class 4, 1 class 3, 1 class 2 and 2 class 1 ? Again no fighter support AND a smaller fuel tank ?
Looks absolutely useless to me. The original Python is a gem, because it can do anything but this seem to be just another combat ship.
Very disappointing.
It does seem like internally, it's not as superior as it's predecessor. But the selling point seems to be it's ability to cope better with the SCO module.
Nice looking ship though, but yeah, a little bit of a let down on the Optionals and a couple of the Core internals.
Hello RD just bought mk 2 python and the diamond Back explorer ,i had a small amount of ARX but obviously not enough , i dont usually buy cosmetics as a rule, i think Obsidian did a review of the price increases .
Oh cool. Diamondback livery is really nice on that pre-built ship.
hey everyone I played Elite like 2 years ago, so I want to give it a try again but I heard that the game is dying and the community is very small rn, can you guys confirm or negate that?
It could be healthier, but I think the whole 'Elite is dying' nonsense was a wave for RUclipsrs to ride on and get clicks from.
Obviously people left when they whole console split happened. But for the game itself, it's still merrily rolling along and the devs are working to make it better.
In the end, it's about what you enjoy. And if you enjoy playing it, then the rest of the chatter doesn't matter one bit.

Why do we still have to stop at each star jump point while traveling to long locations? We should be able to fly without doing this, just like in other space games! 😮
It's something called 'Instancing'. It's how the game is designed. Every jump creates a new instance. Without the hyperjump, you'd be months flying to the next solar system.
only 2600 people online thru steam, the game is dead, and that very limited python mk II is useless due to the very limited internals. needs more slots

SCO is scary as hell.
Yeah and to think, it works more smooth on the Python 2 than on any other ship. On those, it's a roller-coaster ride.

Unfortunately, the game is a lot deader than it was and they are gaining no new players, hence price hikes instead of trying to get new players with better gameplay. Its the way of games now. There should be a Bring Back Braben campaign.
The fun part each fucking day reddit and facebook said the opposite with people saying i just begin the game need some help
The game is so dead now though. I played constantly from 2014 through to 2017 and then off and on. Been back on recently due to needing some sci fi fix.
@@pvwulfe6662 wierd because multiple war happened way after 2017 XD i mean 3 years of war with the code , imperial vs fec right now , lave war , the nebula war
@@chryc1 all that means is the game has not gone into maintenance. There are a lot of streamers, and I realise they are not the consensus, that gave in on the game due to the grind required just to compete in the open world. The devs just refuse to fix game issues and instead drive it along with story fed to you by a galactic newspaper. The last dlc was not good, with bad ai on the ground that proves no challenge at all.
I personally still love the game but a lot of that is due to nostalgia from playing Elite 2 frontier.
