Moin auch wenn's schon ein paar Jahre her ist Dieses Video gaz mir vor ein paar Tagen sehr gut geholfen Ohne die Verkleidung zu zerstören diese sauber abzubauen Vielen dank für dieses Video
Excellent video. I got the two halves of the belly pan plastic welded together, which makes removal and installation easier. The tricky stuff iis lining everything up to install the side fairings - just have to be patient and check alignment of the bits
Thank you, I've installed usb charger next to my traction control button, so your video helped me a lot. After so many years it's still helping people. THANK YOU
Just want to thank you for uploading this. I just finished installing the crash covers on the crank case and discovered that the fairing needs to come off for it. I could have never finished the job without your video. Totally selfless act on your part to make it but I cannot appreciate it enough. Ride safe :)
Fantastic, I was only watching bike DVRs and was thinking of fitting my GPS better, how does it know what I was thinking of next :) Thank you so much for this video, I already saved it!
Absolutely awesome! Want to add red LED's to the outer fairing, to show on the silver mid-fairing. Did you add an air horn? My horn seems to be weak, I had a Strebel horn on my PC800, might upgrade the big girl's voice.
Thanks for your video it is excwellent,, my VFR is even the same colour as yours, best bike I have ever owned, could do with a bigger fuel tank though.....
I'll never live that one down... If you knew how obsessive I was about keeping this bike immaculate you'll know how badly I cringed when I did that. Camera was rolling, brain was shut off.
Taylor, This video was great and made it fairly easy to get the side panels off. Can you please give me some advice on the proper way to re-intall them? I'm having a hard time with the right side panel. It's the only one I took off to do an antifreeze flush. I'm trying to get the top boss on first and it is very difficult to see it to make sure it's on correctly. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
Exactly hahaha. I just took off my fairings to install frame sliders and replace the halogen light bulbs with LEDs. That was the easy part. I’m having a difficult time remembering what goes where now. Give or take, I did go a tad bit further in removing other parts not shown in the video.
Very helpful video, would never have got the fairing off successfully without it. Can't get it back on now! Any tips on how to slide it back onto the horizontal clip without 3 hands?
Yeah! That was concrete, man! Thanks for the review, but until we figure out where exactly are all the screws and "clicks", it's going to be tricky. Not easy to remove that fairing at all...
Fireblade, any advice on getting the right side panel back on? I did an antifreeze flush and am now trying to get the top boss lined up and installed before moving to other points, but I'm not sure that I'm doing it right because it is the horror show that you mention.
@@shaurajones6415 you need to install the inserts separately before. The panel goes on in its own. The screw on top can be tightened if you bend the plastic slightly outward
No not "hard"...but a PAIN IN THE N&$)!! Have to take it ALL off to do ANYTHING. 😡 Thanks, again, for the video. Apparently I have to re-learn it every time.
Wonderful thank you

I am considering buying a VFR1200F, preferably the DCT version, so I liked and favorited this one for future reference. Thanks Taylor!

Thanks for sharing. I just brought the bike and is preparing to clean it from inside out. Your video helps a lot!
That seems pretty straightforward, thanks for the video. I'm on the fence on this exact same bike, $6k with 11k miles, seems like a steal
Good buy. I just bought my blue 2012 for 7k with 7,500 miles
You have to do this every time you want to change the air filter

Love the horn. There's instructions on my blog on how to hook it up. I've blown s couple fuses with it. You'll need s 20a
Great guide, you save my day! Many thanks!!
Thanks for doing this, great video. Helped me a lot!
Hello and thanks for these video. I have a question : can you give me the references of your workshop bequille ? Thanks
Thanks for your video it is excwellent,, my VFR is even the same colour as yours, best bike I have ever owned, could do with a bigger fuel tank though.....
Good way to scratch the fairing up at 4:55
Did you really just lay a painted surface on a concrete floor?!
Yes He really did
OMG!!!!
I'll never live that one down... If you knew how obsessive I was about keeping this bike immaculate you'll know how badly I cringed when I did that. Camera was rolling, brain was shut off.
The sound of the paint face down on that sandpaper sounding grave floor.... ewww. Made my bum twinkle
I screamed aloud when he did this. "No, dude, no!!"
Did it, thanks very much!!!
I have the same problem, did you get infos on how to remove the windshield?
Thank you 😁

Other side, housing, fairing, right side? Can you please approximate places?
Great video, saved me hours........
Just bought a new DCT bike so will find this really useful. Many thanks. BTW, how do I get the vid' out of 'cinema mode' ?
Excellent thanks. How you liking the honda now?
Very helpful video, would never have got the fairing off successfully without it. Can't get it back on now! Any tips on how to slide it back onto the horizontal clip without 3 hands?
Obviously a long time since your question. Did you manage to slide it back eventually, I'm just going to remove mine over winter.
agree that reinstallation takes much more time, proper alignment, and a plethora of colorful metaphors.
Thanks, very helpful.
How do I view the horn fitting on your blog? I don't do blogging. Cheers.
How do you remove the upper cowl? There is a screw in the inner side wich I can take out.
PERFECTO, GRACIAS POR LA INFORMACION
Excellent video. Now...how do I reinstall them!@!
Yes, any info on this would be appreciated. Thank you.
How do you like that horn?
I just got the exact same one I just need to install it.
Thank you
it surely is a very useful video indeed !
amendment: the lower fairing doesn't need to come off to remove the mid cowl. Also, the little phillips screw doesn't need to be removed.
Yeah! That was concrete, man! Thanks for the review, but until we figure out where exactly are all the screws and "clicks", it's going to be tricky. Not easy to remove that fairing at all...
Thanks ✌
Listen buddy I want to clean the parts behind the windshield, can you assist me with removing the windshield please?
Thanks man!
As a owner of vfr1200f I can say, that some screws/plastic connectors could be left intact.
jesus christ, i'll never take the side fairing off again, what a horrorshow. thanks for the instructions though

A-GREED! "WHY!? HONDA, WHY?!" 🤣
Jeee, this scares the hell out of me ... I just want to route the GPS charger cable! I may meditate over this ... ! :-o
(Great video though. Thanks!)
good work
Thank's for the vid

Everything good until you flipped that panel onto concrete.
Now let’s see a vt of you putting them back on without pulling your hair out 🤓
Wow, installing my frame sliders IS NOT going to be fun at all!!!!
to reinstall, hit rewind !!!lol
Well done for filming a "How too" video .... Why on earth did you flip a perfectly good panel "Paint side down" onto concrete, it made me cringe.
LOL....
