- Well folks, we did it - Episode 1 of ASMR (A Sleepy/Solo Man Roleplays). This is my third product line in which I play more story-based, journaling-centric games for you to chill and listen to. This first episode is a real experiment as the playthrough quickly turns pretty dark. But I speak it out in a nice calm voice, so it balances out...right?
This game is beautiful and incredibly well-made. I defy you to watch this video and not immediately see the amazing potential this style of RPG has for story creation.

This is a really interesting series and I really hope you continue this character's story.
My first character I created was a servant for Vlad the Impaler and ended up as one of Dracula's three wives. lol this game has so much potential.
I am on my second playthrough and currently my vampire is trying to build a great observatory. He waffles between being comfortable among humans and viewing them as cattle.
Edit: It ended with my world weary vampire watching the sunrise and longing for a home he couldn't remember.
I wish the audio was louder.

Yeah for sure, still working out sound levels so it's probably my bad...I'm saving up for a better mic and could use some better mic etiquette as well (i.e. not moving my head away). I'd LOVE to see a good solo Chthulu game, part of the issue with solo gaming mystery games though is that the "mystery" has to come from me, so it would be like I was solving my own mystery that I have already solved...I know there are ways to do it so that you just count "clues" or whatever, but it's not quite the same. I'll do some research and see if anyone has some good systems of this
Hi, you are doing an awesome job with these solo RPGs. So far, you've hooked my interest for each of the games that you are showing, 1000 Y.O. Vampire included.
I went to the authors website to buy the book, but that was a mistake. I now won't be able to continue watching this particular ASMR series. One of the reasons I like RPGs is because they let people escape hate. Its hard to do that when the author is drunk on it.

I didn't get any hate. I am just saying that this guy is blinded by hate and views the world in black and white. This is never a good or healthy thing and is frankly not something I am willing to support.
