The interviewer is so genuine! "Honor...Honor..."gave me chills!! Love her! Showing respect and stating their names, she really elevated the exonerated five and made clear how important their llives and story is. I expected another superficial red carpet interview. It's kinda eye opening to see how you can be DIFFERENT and BETTER "just" by really caring and not just doing your job.

My heart is smiling to see Antron there. You can tell by past interviews that he was really struggling. It was good to see him smile and in good spirits. I genuinely love all these guys.

I noticed Yusef has to do most of the talking because everyone else is more suscpetible to contradicting their lie, as their recorded confessions proved to be the truth.

I can't stop feeling so bad for Corey. That young man, no words could or would ever do justice to what he may have went through, and continue to go through because of it. Nothing will make that situation right, nothing! His innocence was taking. I feel so much hurt for him.

All of the guys stories were heartwrenching.... Corey's and Antron's stories were deep.....Corey went because of his friend...Antron said yes because of the respect he had for his daddy, although he knew he had done nothing...
Emotions cloud your judgement and that was intent of the series, to distract you from the truth. Why would Raymond reach out to Ava? Raymond once again took the lead (as he did with organizing the wylin' escapade back in 89') because he knew NY law department was going to dump all documentation regarding their case, online, recorded confessions included, for the public.
@@Sciences0311 So, at the end of it all. Someone else admitted to the crime. They never found any evidence of these young men that would show that they committed the crime. There was only one person who committed the crime and not 5 people. She was beaten, there were no marks on any of them that would suggest they beat the jogger up. There were no evidence....now unless I missed something...you will have to tell me of the actual evidence that was found.....I wait patiently?????

Matias Reyes admitted he did the crime all alone, well DUH! He had nothing to lose as he was already serving a life sentence plus statute of limitations concerning the jogger case EXPIRED so there was no risk of additional consequences at all. He also knew Korey and it is documented that he and Korey fought in a dayroom back in 1990 "over the TV", coincidentally huh..Years later, Reyes was known as a troublemaker and no longer in segregation when Korey was moved to his facility and Korey was able to threaten him in order to confess his participation..Low and behold this would put REYES back in segregation where he would be SAFE due to his now public notoriety and Korey would be freed..A win for both parties..Duh!... Maybe you should listen to the arresting officer Eric Reynolds (who is a black man) who initially caught Raymond and Steve out of the group of 37 boys they eventually were able to interview.. He lays out everything on a silver platter..they were initially being released to their parents before Kevin dropped the bombshell.

You appear to be angry, I pray you find peace. They didn’t do it. Matias had nothing to lose at this point. By designed he ended up in the same prison that Corey was end.... who stated his innocence until the day he was released. It’s okay for us to have differences of opinions that is what makes us unique. Take care of yourself now!.

Prosecutors ALSO admitted they had DNA of someone they hadnt identified in CLOSING remarks..You would be angry too about a lie you believed was true until you had access to the actual information..You will also find Korey admitted to his sisters friend, who testified, during a phone call she had with him that he only "held the joggers arms and played with her legs"..The female said she only testified because she thought it would absolve Korey of any wrongdoing.

Despite the smiles, I know both men are hurting inside, one from the weight of guilt piling up on top his already heavy heart mourning lost time, the other for lost innocence ripped away so brutally in that pit oh hell.
