Korey is still out here in Harlem bro. He never left. I ran into him so many times and he’s always interacting with the kids and it’s almost like he’s our neighborhood hero. And I’m so happy to see him here be so strong.
👏 keep him safe💓
penda that’s beautiful
are you serious? i live in new new jersey and i would love to come down and meet this hero of a man! i want to show him some love, i hope he gets as much love as he can get
TC edward oh trust me we shower him with love it’s so beautiful to see. Every time I ran into him he was always smiling and happy and speaking to everyone who spoke to him. Taking pictures and giving out high fives every minute 😭💗
penda do you have twitter or instagram ?!? i need to talk to you 😂 i want to find out how i could possible meet him
I’m glad all five are free!! But Korey holds a special place in my heart 😫❤️
Na’s Journey : Real talk 💯 Korey definitely had it the worst and you can see the pain in his eyes 😏
Everyone says that about him they fucked him over In prison real badly
My exact sentiments. Korey Wise has a special place in my heart too. God bless them all but Korey's struggle was and is harder.

Korey disassociates so many times during this interview. You can literally see it on his face when he checks out. He’s a strong man but I can only imagine what it’s like when he’s home alone in the quiet. I pray for all of their peace of mind, but especially his. Good lord.
His life Story is really something else... even before the prison. Then the whole prison Trauma.. what a life!! May God watch him🙌🏿
I can't imagine the profound effect it would have on ones brain. I cry every time I listen to them. The pain they and families went through is just beyond unbearable.

The thing that makes me sad the most is that korey have disabilities since he was born and was put in a prison with healthy adult criminals at the age of 16!! imagine that
Just watched the final episode only yesterday. Broke my heart !
It almost happened to me when I was 16. Except mine was robbery. The neighborhood store owner vouched for me. The lady said," her chain and pocketbook was stolen from a black kid. I just happened to go to the store for my mother , to buy some eggs. They handcuffed me and place me in the car. My life could've changed within that few minutes. I'm so glad these brothers are home. Korey you're a real hero. I love ya'll. CP5 for life.
What disabilities do u know
Idk if his disability was from birth. It could have been from not going to school as well which hinders language development.
no bitch, he is deaf in one ear which is why he talks like that. he was born that way.
Jharrel Jerome absolutely crushed this role. He captivated Korey’s persona to a tee. I’m so glad all the men involved are free of all charges.

the effect of those hell years is so evident, wanna that lady prosecutor in jail
He’s also deaf
This story really changed my state of mind. My future and my future kids future. Korey has a special place in my heart . no body i know would have that much love for a friend and in the end still has a strong mind and a kind heart 😣👏🏾 God is good.
They’re all very handsome, brave, and powerful, to go through something like this and still be able to even talk about it is incredible. What they’re doing is going to and has already affected a lot of people. I really wish I could just hug them all. I’m praying and hoping this story reaches the right people.
Only 34 minutes 😣😣 I wanted at least 2 hours from these guys... I know they got stories for hours!!
Day Woo that can be draining
Exactly.. they let Malik Yoba & his pack of trolls come to the BC & basically take over the damn show for more than an hour. Smh
Day Woo no more than what you haven’t seen in the movie or documentary.
eric Mays Picking their brain would’ve been nice , hearing more of what they had to say would’ve been nice
Check out their interview on VladTV, much longer
Whenever Korey speaks, I LISTEN 👂🏾
I was touched by all their stories. But, Korey’s affected me in a way I can’t describe. It took about a week after watching the series that I was able to sleep without dreaming about 17 year old Korey in jail. This whole story from beginning to end is incredible. God I thank You for how it ended 🙏🏾
Omg yessss I just watched the whole thing today and I couldn't sleep, when I did sleep I was dreaming about them crying in my sleep then when I wake up I'm crying thinking about korey. I'm just happy that it all worked out and God made a way and the guy to have a conscience to tell the truth
Thinking Like A VIRTUOUS Woman definitely. I was hanging on every word.
I couldnt watch thru, had to pause, especially when Korey was on... So heartbreaking
I couldn't watch the whole series. I thought of a mother's pain at her son's wrongful conviction. My heart bled for Korey. I cried throughout the small part I watched. Totally heartbreaking.
i don’t usually cry at movies, tv shows, etc. and i was able to make it through until the last episode
but during the last episode i cried three. times.
and not even just a few tears (which is usually what happens when i cry at movies, tv shows, etc.), i was full on bawling
I can hear these guys' victory story over and over I can never get tired. The pain they went through may have seemed overbearing but they are so resilient you can't help but believe in your own strength. ☀️
I cant imagine the pain their mother’s went through. To see your child be wrongly accused, convicted and see their personality change. It breaks my heart💔
My heart breaks for Kory because although they're physically free...mentally he's not.
I wouldn't say he is not mentally free... he doesn't seem broken and weak... he seems changed by the experience though... that we can see in his eyes and hear in his voice.
He was mentally free when he told them he didn't want parole if they didn't want to hear his truth! It's sad that so many are not understanding the true significance of their stories. Even through his disability and all that he has suffered the man is clear.
@@MichaelImo Mentally he is not free...its very clear that what he went through still consumes his mental, which is understandable. Going thru what he went thru as a child is more than most grown men could handle.
@@lisat279 I completely understand the significance of all 5 of their stories and put in the work to help fight injustices in this messed up country. Again, mentally he is not free...its very clear that what he went through still consumes his mental, which is understandable. Going thru what he went thru as a child is more than most grown men could handle.
@@lisat279 he wasn't mentally free he just made peace with it to get through the time... It's a difference!
Wait y’all had Malik Yoba on here for an entire 1 hour and 30 mins. But these kings only get 35 mins wow smh
Exactly!!!
The society we live in...SMDH!!
I want to think that they had somewhere to be. The seem like people busier than Malik. If we can be real. Wth is he about?
And Envy walks out!
I Said the same damn thing!! You see where their priorities lie!! Just fukn weird! Smmfh
The film had me in tears. Love you guys!! Your true heros for keeping your hope. Korey for never giving in to any bull saying you feel bad about your actions that you did not do. You kept to your innocence, your story will teach my son and many more. Much Love 💋
I'm heart broken from what these boys now men went through and have to live with. I had no idea. This interview shows strength, power and integrity, perfectly executed with raw emotion that has left its mark on me. So sad, yet I have no doubt that there story will go on to change many many lives.
I’m so happy that Yusef is keeping Corey by his side, and helping him through his process. I feel so bad for Corey he got the raw end of the stick. God bless them all
Dr Salaam is soo well spoken. I could listen to him all day long
Chicken Salad allll dayyyyyy longggg that man is PERFECT
Is he an actual doctor?
I JUST watched it 2 days ago. It was physically painful for me. I have 4 black sons, ages 13 trough 8. The fear literally immobilizes me. The way they did all those boys, especially corey, and knowing that not much has changed from then 2 now, makes me never want to let my son's leave my damn side.
I just watched this movie on Netflix yesterday...it broke my heart & disturbed my peace. This movie is painful but necessary to watch. 🙏🏾
925mika I have been crying since the first episode.. 💔
