    Korey disassociates so many times during this interview. You can literally see it on his face when he checks out. He’s a strong man but I can only imagine what it’s like when he’s home alone in the quiet. I pray for all of their peace of mind, but especially his. Good lord.

    Korey was a 16 year old BOY in prison with grown ass MEN. So the poor guy definitely saw a lot, heard a lot, and unfortunately experienced a lot that he didn't deserve. None of them deserved it, but Korey's story will rip your heart out frfr.

      It almost happened to me when I was 16. Except mine was robbery. The neighborhood store owner vouched for me. The lady said," her chain and pocketbook was stolen from a black kid. I just happened to go to the store for my mother , to buy some eggs. They handcuffed me and place me in the car. My life could've changed within that few minutes. I'm so glad these brothers are home. Korey you're a real hero. I love ya'll. CP5 for life.

    Korey needs to go down as one of the most genuine and solid men in history. He wasn’t on the list, he went to support his friend, he got done dirty the worst, he never admitted to something he DIDN’T do, and through that honour he met the guy who did and got them all exonerated.     I hadn't heard about this story until i decided to watch the show on netflix, and when i finished it, i was so enraged, sad, and mad that i told myself that i would never ever stop talking about the criminal injustice that black people suffer. I will never stop being a voice for the voiceless, i will always fight for the people who are wrongfully accused and/or convicted. These men truly have inspired me to fight for those who cannot fight. #BlackLivesMatter

    Thank God for Ava Duvernay and the recognition that opened our awareness toward the Five now exonerated men. They went in just young boys and came out grown men. Korey actually did endure the most and I am so thankful that he is still standing. Such an emotional and touching series "When They See Us"

    Can't help but feel for Korey. Yusuf can reflect on his past and still smile about things despite his time in jail. But Korey has just seen and been through so much trauma mentally and probably physically that it hard for him

    "Everybody that was supposed to be players in this was in the right position" That line stuck with me. This was some spiritual shit and it still is. What are the odds that Matias Reyes and Korey Wise would meet twice in jail and Matias, being a known rapist, had more remorse and empathy than any of the prosectors in this case. This was a SERIOUS game of chess and that shocks me how it all panned out. These men are the strongest out there. Korey didn't get his last name Wise for no reason. That's all I gotta say.     I liked how, when Oprah asked them if the $40 million settlement made up for their lost youth, they immediately said, "No. Not at all. No way." Shows how money can't buy time, especially your prime.
    If anything, those policemen and prosecutors should foot the bill, not the taxpayers.

    Whenever Korey speaks, I LISTEN 👂🏾
    I was touched by all their stories. But, Korey’s affected me in a way I can’t describe. It took about a week after watching the series that I was able to sleep without dreaming about 17 year old Korey in jail. This whole story from beginning to end is incredible. God I thank You for how it ended 🙏🏾

      Omg yessss I just watched the whole thing today and I couldn't sleep, when I did sleep I was dreaming about them crying in my sleep then when I wake up I'm crying thinking about korey. I'm just happy that it all worked out and God made a way and the guy to have a conscience to tell the truth

      I couldn't watch the whole series. I thought of a mother's pain at her son's wrongful conviction. My heart bled for Korey. I cried throughout the small part I watched. Totally heartbreaking.

      i don’t usually cry at movies, tv shows, etc. and i was able to make it through until the last episode
      but during the last episode i cried three. times.
      and not even just a few tears (which is usually what happens when i cry at movies, tv shows, etc.), i was full on bawling

    I can hear these guys' victory story over and over I can never get tired. The pain they went through may have seemed overbearing but they are so resilient you can't help but believe in your own strength. ☀️

      I wouldn't say he is not mentally free... he doesn't seem broken and weak... he seems changed by the experience though... that we can see in his eyes and hear in his voice.

      He was mentally free when he told them he didn't want parole if they didn't want to hear his truth! It's sad that so many are not understanding the true significance of their stories. Even through his disability and all that he has suffered the man is clear.

    I'm heart broken from what these boys now men went through and have to live with. I had no idea. This interview shows strength, power and integrity, perfectly executed with raw emotion that has left its mark on me. So sad, yet I have no doubt that there story will go on to change many many lives.

    I JUST watched it 2 days ago. It was physically painful for me. I have 4 black sons, ages 13 trough 8. The fear literally immobilizes me. The way they did all those boys, especially corey, and knowing that not much has changed from then 2 now, makes me never want to let my son's leave my damn side.
