Definitely looking forward to Monster Hunter Wilds this year. I have been playing the series since Monster Hunter 3 ultimate and have been loving the new monsters for wilds but I am hoping that Lagiacrus, Seregios, and Gogmazios make a comeback especially Gogmazios he is my all time favorite monster to fight.
I've been a player since the Tri days and I'm super excited for Wilds. I'm not 100% convinced that Lagiacrus will return in this game, but hey if he does and they've adjusted his fighting capabilities on land (since his whole thing in the original is that he's in his element in the water) then I'm all for it. I'm pretty much game for any monster returning, Gogmazios would be interesting to see. Beating him was one of my proudest moments as it took me about a month to finally beat him (I'm a solo player) and when I finally did with about 20 seconds on the clock I had to pause the game to shout in joy 😆. But I'm not really sure how they could implement something like him into the game, since so many of the monsters on his level (endgame elders) are tied to their arenas which play into their lore or combat. I've seen a lot of people think the Oilwell Basin will be perfect for him but I'm not convinced. The few glimpses we've seen of the area it looks too small for him, Gogmazios is HUGE and I feel like if he was there he'd just destroy everything inside the area (all these pipes and machinery) because of his sheer size. Which I'm not sure the devs would implement and we'd just be left with this massive elder clipping through the terrain.
@DRAGONSPIRIT10 I am hoping that Gogmazios appears even if the oilwell basin may not have enough space since he is big being the current largest flying monster in the series and it took me nearly 3 days to finally slay Gogmazios since I use insect glaive but it was very satisfying to take him down making him my favorite fight in Monster Hunter.

I guess idk why it would flop if not on PS/Xbox. It would have some more sales yes but the switch has a huge install base and obviously steam/pc does as well. If it can't sell well on the two biggest install bases than it would still be a flop even if it was on everything.
Worth acknowlodging that in terms of what games sell in Japan, not putting it on Switch would've been a death sentence 😅 Playstation is still popular over there, but the Xbox may as well not even exist. PC & Switch is def the best choice for the Japanese audience, which is what ultimately matters 🎉

I have not own a Xbox ever. I last bought a PS3 when that came out. I wouldn't be playing on those ever. I own both a PC and a Switch.
I guess idk why it would flop if not on PS/Xbox. It would have some more sales yes but the switch has a huge install base and obviously steam/pc does as well. If it can't sell well on the two biggest install bases than it would still be a flop even if it was on everything.
Worth acknowlodging that in terms of what games sell in Japan, not putting it on Switch would've been a death sentence 😅
Playstation is still popular over there, but the Xbox may as well not even exist. PC & Switch is def the best choice for the Japanese audience, which is what ultimately matters 🎉
