This is not the aircraft I'm building, but this is the type of flying I intend to do. Just cruising around in the sky. Nice video and crystal clear audio.
Instant sub when you was real about a mistake that literary anyone can make but someone will definitely roast you for being honest lol love the videos brotha
I'm overweight by at least 50 pounds! Congrats on staying so fit, that at the start of this video the airplane isn't resting on the front nose gear! Wow!
A Challenger is the easiest to land of all the ultralight type airplanes I have flown. It’ll float along in ground effect and give you lots of time to react. A Zenith 701 is a lot more challenging.
@johnaikema1055 so many factors of course density altitude and winds but somewhere from 700 to 1000 but the biggest issue in that scenario is climb rate isn't great so fighting the urge to pull back and climb is a super power lol. 200ft per minute give or take. If you watch the video with my friend in the back seat we are just short of max so that will give you a better idea
@TheJonjonj I've got just shy of 1000' gravel lane (strip) with 0 to 50' on one end and about 4000' no trees on the other end. this strip will require take-off and landing in opposite direction. winds will be problematic.

@Maybe-So don't let it stop you the challenger can handle nose weight you will have to full flaperon trim up but it does good!

@@MXZ-or6nk I guess everyone has different experiences because I find the opposite!
what is your realistic take-off on hard surface distance with max load?
