God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference

I completely embrace this. I don’t believe it’s worthwhile to carry hatred or disdain for anyone. However, forgiving and moving on as best you can is very freeing. Remembering the offense will help you avoid it again.

Absolutely, I wholeheartedly agree. Holding onto hatred or disdain only weighs us down. Forgiveness and moving forward liberates us. Reflecting on past offenses can guide us toward avoiding similar situations in the future.👌

    Serenity prayer. 🙂
It appears to me to encompass all these principles in a neat little package.
We can change NO ONE but ourselves.
Learning how to respond , rather than react ( in my opinion ) appears to be the key. 🔑

Thanks for these lessons from the ancient stoics. I come across toxic people and I can be the same. As I pursue wisdom and be a little better than I was the day before, I need to constantly focus on the things I can control.

1:52 anger is a mask for deeper feelings like fear, sadness or lack of control.
2:01 showing empathy protecting our peace of mind and allow other person to see (and work through) their madness!!
These two points are huge. No anything else necessary to control the situation.
Showing empathy (to opponent) also helps reading the opponent! Once we read them, we are in total control of the game!!
    .
Do. not ever, never (!!) let their toxicity affects MY mind. The moment I do, I AM in double TROUBLE and no benefit; cuz I just AM:
#1) subject of their TOXICITY and
#2) subject of MY WEAK mind!???

Especially, things your against, but the fact your against means your as bad as the rest in 2024 I believe, others have alot more problems to worry about than the ever changing labels , and in the end they know what they believe, I don't carry my problems or any gossip to others , so believe in telling them to f..k off and don't do social media , unless it's helping you
