- The first snow in Animal Crossing New Horizons is here! That means the infamous Snowboys are back! I know how hard it can be to make the PERFECT Snowboy, but I'm here to show you 5 EASY steps that will get you that perfect snowboy every time.

I just used the harder method since I don’t have that thing unlocked yet and I did get a perfect first try

You automatically get a perfect the first time so it can unlock the DIY recipe and large snowflakes. They won't stack until they're perfect.
I keep smashing my snowballs bc my island doesn’t have enough bare land 😢
They respawn once you head inside and out again! But yeah that could be troublesome! I usually dedicate a blank space area for this specifically if I am farming DIYs

Another trick I learnt is that the top of the bigger snowball lines up with your eyes, and the top of the smaller snowball lines up with your mouth! Stand next to your snowballs and you can use yourself for reference!
I kid you not, I made a perfect snow it first try! And it was my first time in ACNH winter, I was so happy! ⛄️ ❄️

@@TheAlexinator52 Because it was automatic so the game could unlock the DIY ice recipes and large snowflakes. It won't let you stack them until they get into a perfect range.

@@JohnDoe-ld8nrits not perfect first try automatically, you get the large snowflake automatically, but it isnt forced into a perfect, it just happens to give you a first pitty large snowflake.
My method is the ear method, head is just below ear and body is above ear

Wait what do you get if it’s perfect
Pro tip: use a 5 space dirt path. Roll one of the snowballs down it. Move the other to the spot where you started. Roll the first snowball back down the 5 space path. Done.
OR you can do one snowball its full size and the other just a bit smaller. I always get a perfect snowboy like this.

I just don't know if I'm some sort of superhuman but so far I have built my perfect Snowboys just by eyeballing the snowball sizes. Sure my first Snowboys certainly weren't perfect but practicing makes you good.

I didnt even know perfect snowboys were a thing bc i got i perfect 3 times in a row
For me 11 was always more consistent! But this is a great method yes
If you aren’t at three stars and don’t have the dirt path available, you can use custom designs :)

Another trick (not as easy) is to get the second snowball to be about level with your characters ears
You can make tiny snowboys too

Another method I try is to make them the same size as you! The head can be a lil tricky so you gotta eyeball it)
That one is also a good way!
I’m actually crying because I wanted to be special a year and half ago and make my island set in the opposite season from me so it’s winter where I live but summer in my game

My island broken or sum bc it’s spring rn but all the events are on time idk why

I usually just eyeball it and I havent got a non perfect one yet until I purposly made one with the largest snowman but youve ever seen 👁👄👁
I like perfect ones, but the non-perfect ones are the funniest XD
Just make the head about 1.5x smaller then the body then it will be perfect

I don’t have anymore wide open space so this is a challenge
Aww, I'm sorry! You can always make a space specifically for Winter and put it back together after you get all the DIYs!
Or 40 seconds for the bottom and 20 for the head
But what if I count too fast D:
as a acnl player, it feels weird to have a snowboy be that big-so i like to make small snowboys using the 12&17 method that i found

Why should i make a perfect snowboy? The imperfect Snowboys accusing and insulting me every time is the only thing that makes me play in winter
The first one I made this year I messed up and accidentally put its head as its body and stacked it the wrong way💀

or just line the height up with your mouth on the head and then line it up with the top of your eyes for the body.
That's one way to do it also! I just find it not as accurate sometimes since we're mostly eyeballing it.

perfect snowboys are actully the size of your character
They can be any size and be perfect! This way just makes it more consistent:)

I got it first try and got the big snowflake but everytime after that it never went well
It can be hard to get a perfect snowman of any size, but once you get used to it, it becomes easier!
This didn't work because the one rolled down the path just pushed the bigger one and didnt go on top
