- If you set up a new iPhone and check the weather app, you might be surprised to find a city called Cupertino. Which many people have never heard of. But that’s not the only place it shows up. Open the clock app, and you’ll see the time in Cupertino. But this probably isn’t where you’re located, so why is it there?

Anyway, it will be more expensive than adding your own city instead.
It's not really a problem. Every phone uses gps to decide what city to show, even out of the box
I didn’t have it on my iPhone but yes on my MacBook Air the time for Cupertino and now I follow the weather too in Cupertino as a fun little thing to know ❤

I don’t know if it’s just the ios update or what but my weather app will constantly revert to cupertino, even when i remove that location it will always revert and i have to physically click on the app to get an accurate reading

lucky for me i don't live very far from cupertino so i don't have to manually select my city cuz it's close enough
because i set region for both phone and icloud to germany (because bosnia region does not show half of apps) it shows berlin which i literally cannot change

Ironic about Silicon Valley companies complaining there’s not enough land to build a HQ while in Chicago or New York a company HQ is built in one lone skyscraper. Silicon Valley’s bigger issue now is there employees can’t afford to work there in many cases.
