Super helpful video! Bought this brush hog second hand last year and the previous owner said he hit something and it shook ever since. I took the blades off and freed everything up. Cuts great and super quiet too.

Great video, very helpful. Does it hurt to tip the mower up on its side like in your video to replace or sharpen the blades? Do you drain the oil and gas before tipping it up like that?

At that point I did the normal maintenence of oil change along side. I didn't empty but it's probably a good idea to do that as well. I think it was about empty at the time. I haven't found a very easy to lift it. I do that and make sure I have demeaning on both sides for it does fall. Hope that helps. Best of luck!

I'd recommend calling customer service on this. I've never had to adjust those on idler. Their number is 800 222 8183. If you have to buy anything use promo KOAM and it should save you some money. Best of luck!

Is nut that screws on at the casing right tighty or is it threaded backwards?

      I'm thinking it's backwards threaded.

Is the bolt holding the blades threaded into the base?

I believe theres a nut on other end. The issue with this is the bolt was so tight because of weeds getting wrapped around bolt. They should be free moving.
