@@raymondwise In a situation where you are hopelessly outnumbered, you have to give ground. Fortunately Dunn led the mob away from where they could have done far more damage. Had he discharged his weapon, every rioter's instinct to exercise their 2nd amendment right (they were packing and this could have been so much worse) would have led to a slaughter of more police officers. The amount of restraint these brave men and women have is commendable.

Notice how there is no video footage to back this up, or audio. I have seen video footage of them letting people in the capital, willingly. This all seems false. Body language does not seem to be saying anything except that he is reading a Story. No memory. However, you are correct there was a clip shown where cops were directing people in (dirty cops) But there were cops fighting off the protestors on another side of the building as well. They are reallocating some of the funds from an already grossly large amount of money the police have and putting it into services that can help out the police. Officers don’t need to show up tk mental health calls. Social workers can and the money can be paid to them to do so. Officers don’t need to show up to every call. Period. No one is trying to get ride of the cops budget or the cops. The Money needs to be spent wisely. Did you know police offices would rather pay out legal fees to families than actually do better? Why that happened is just some of the questions that should be allowed to be asked. Also why were there not more police if they felt there could be potential problems. Officer Dunn is a man worthy of respect. Keeping his head under pressure like that saved lives. I'm guessing that there wasn't a ton of training for that kind of scenario, so if he isn't former military his tactics were definitely instinctively appropriate.

From a Law Enforcement Family, I couldn't stop crying after hearing these officers testimonies... My Father who received his commission in 1978 retiring his commission only this past year, and he had to leave the room from the emotions that overwhelmed him. God bless the men and women who tried their hardest to defend the Capitol Building, and protecting our Representatives in Congress. This has been traumatic for my family who have always been apart of the Republican party, and to see some House members and some Senators say that basically nothing happen....
Your type always wants to say that you want to uphold the beliefs of the United States of America, well I guarantee you that you would of been hung for your betrayal if the founding fathers could give their opinion and sentence upon you. I am willing to forgive, but only if you are willing to be responsible.
