Lots of respect for Mike Shildt. If anyone can bring a Championship to San Diego, it's Mike.
When Mike was manager of the Cards, they were a team to be reckoned with. After Mike was let go, the Xards are now bottom dwellers and the Padres are on the move.
If you look at the MLB team stats, the Padres are at the top and the Cards are near the bottom. Patience!

I see why the front office is high on Mgr Mike Shildt. He should be a long time manager for the Padres. Not only does his knowledge of baseball shows, but his handling of players really shines.
