  • Learn how to successfully change colors and carry the yarn up the edge of your Thermal Stitch project when working with two or more colors. There’s no need to cut the yarn at the end of each colored section. Just carry it up the side instead!
    I’ll show you how to carry the unused yarn up the side so it’s barely noticeable, eliminating extra ends/tails that need to be woven in. Soon you’ll be able to use up lots of yarn scraps to make more Thermal Stitch Potholders to use or give as gifts!
    To learn how to do the Thermal Stitch, watch this video:

    I’m a new subscriber your channel and just have learned so much. Thank you! I’m still looking for in a neat way to do a two-sided thermal stitch pot holder. One color different each side if you ever do a video on that it would be awesome!

      You're very welcome, Heather! Thank you for subscribing to my channel. I'm so glad that you're learning a lot! Hmm! I've never thought about doing a Thermal Stitch potholder that has 2 different colored sides! I'll have to play around with that! If I'm successful, I'll do a video on it for sure!

    Oh I am sorry I could not watch the changing color in thermal stitch when it first appeared on my RUclips notifications. I have an issue that I can't crochet when I am laying on the floor rolling with laughter. I may never be able to crochet again!!!!!!🤣🤣. Well at least he is kinda staying in character.... Captain!?!

      Thank you so much for your kind words, Barbara! I'm glad you like them! I did end up doing 2 less rows on the coral colored potholder, just in case. I don't win very often when playing "yarn chicken" and I didn't feel like ripping back most of the potholder if I calculated incorrectly! I hope your potholders turn out beautiful!

    I cannot hear the audio from your videos for some reason. Please fix it.

    • @TheCrochetArchitect
      @TheCrochetArchitect  Год назад

      Thanks for your comment, Ali. I think the problem may lie in the volume setting you have when watching videos. You can find that adjustable setting (on a PC) in the bottom left-hand of the videos. It's just to the right of the icon that looks like a speaker/megaphone. You can drag the volume bar to make the volume higher or lower. I'm not sure where the volume control is on a smart phone, though. Happy crocheting to you!
