They all should be placed in jail for crimes against humanity.
Exactly
People make there own choices.
@@nb7466 huh? Yeah, & Liza & I made ours! What’s your point?
That family needs to be in jail for the rest of their lives!
Revelation 18:23

Even the drug reps that pushed this onto doctors...
The Sackler family has created more jobs than every single liberal in the world combined 😂
America is Babylon the Great deceiver of the world. James in America Chicago peace be with you 🤨🧐🤔🕖❤️
El Chapo is in prison for life for doing exactly what they did.
And chronic pain patients depending on oxy pay the biggest price of all. Our meds get increasingly difficult to fill, pain gets harder & harder to control 😮💨
Exactly! 😢
Yes, this has hurt legitimate pain patients
Yeah but opioids arent the only means. I exist with chronic pain and absolutely refuse to take that garbage. I stretch, force the exercise, cardio and eat a good diet. I avoid inflammatory foods.. etc. stop listening to doctors and listen to yourself. Your whole life will change.
Also, filling narcs isnt hard. Its honestly some of the cheapest and easiest meds to fill working in a pharmacy. 99% of insurances pay em down cheap, they are widely available and have god knows how many people producing them. The only rule is acute rx is no more than 7 days worth in most states.
It truly has harmed chronic pain patients. The pendulum has swung wildly out of whack with the needs of chronic pain sufferers.
100%! They think our pain is just going to go away. WTH? Let them feel the daily pain without any way to have any sort of a quality life! This is infuriating.
Bet #SCOTUS got a gratuity bribe afterwards for this ruling
that's what republicans paid for
Don't forget to tip your judge
All the Oxycontin they want?
YOU GOT THAT RUGHT!!!
So you wanted the Purdue family to be shielded from legal recourse for their part in this lie that affected millions of people even to this day?
What's more disturbing, with a 5 to 4 vote of the Supreme Justices, is that 4 of our country's top judges feel it's OK to skirt the law.
No settlements, the victims are entitled to EVERYTHING those people have.
I doubt victims would be happy with their loved ones dying and their killers getting away with it
She just runs interference for her corporate overlords, she sold her soul for an okay-ish paying job.
Everyone has a price.
Mean while people who actually need the meds have to fight to get them. I'm in pain 24/7. I can't get anything for pain because of idiots.
I’m in the same situation and the added aggravation makes my nerves tighter, causing more anxiety and pain. It’s a vicious cycle that they don’t realize nor care about. It’s unbelievable. I’m sorry for your pain. I understand. I really hope it gets better for us.
I am in the same boat, after 4 years they finally gave me pain meds but they're weak and don't really help a lot. They do help for me enough to sleep though.
@@NYandAZ I'm sorry your in pain. I understand the anxiety part also. We should not have to fight to be out of pain. I realize there's no magic pill that will ever take away all the passion. But for heavens sake those of us with chronic pain shouldn't be told. Well go home and take some Tylenol. Ughhhhh😡😡😡
To all these people say that it’s the big businesses advantage… It’s actually not. Whatever results of it now is going to be a lot more than $6 billion and the original family is going to lose a lot more than they were before. Don’t forget that the Sackler family was on the losing side of this decision.
How does SCOTUS rule against this but say its okay for state and federal officials to get gifts 5K or more for past or present favors. Thats literally called a bribe
I don't know anyone devastated by oxy who has had things "made right" by the sacklers, purdue, or anyone else....
I mean. Imagine if they at very least reimbursed burial costs where cause of death was due to oxy OD.
Another instance of how our systems fail us
this news killed walgreens stock
Why
Which justice received the biggest payoff from the Sackler Family to drop this case?
My money is on Thomas. 100%.
No words for SCROTUS 😮
Who needs oxyies when they’ve got mountains of fentanyl!!!
The Supreme Court is lagging behind the times…☹️
@Danny Cevallos -- This decision was not holding the parties to a technicality in the Bankruptcy Code. There is a purpose for the provision in that law which prohibited the kind of arrangement the Sacklers had made, , and that purpose was to protect creditors, such as the victims. Our society paid the price for Purdue's and the Sacklers' greedy malfeasance.
All judges of the Supreme Court need to be audited for the ownership of stocks in these companies.
So how long would it have taken to simply overturn the unenforceable portion of this agreement? Surely no longer than a new settlement.
They must know that heaven isn’t for them.
Rejected to big business advantage. Hmmmmm.
Those families should get a large sum of money! I hope they do. The Sacklers profited off of a drug they knew was lethal but all they cared about was money! 🤬
Down with the lawsuit industry. Tort reform now! Limit the amount Attorneys can take of any judgments
Cunce!
you go after the crimes, but you dont go after them becoming the criminal, why are none of them earnest honest companys and businesses
whats the wrong thing to do? the supreme court will do it.
Do you have a drug for a back injury from fickle ball?
See yourself!
I’ve been in this classaction suit for 5.5 years! I lost my family, custody… everything bc drs gave me this horrific drug after knee surgery. This is wrong on so many levels. Now I get to wait even longer to get the pittance they’re handing out! My prayers to all involved.
I'm very sorry
This entire law suit is reparations for trailer park junkies
A miracle.
Revelation 18:23 ⚠️
By pharmakia all nations where deceived 🔥
And the light of a candle shall shine no more at all in thee; and the voice of the bridegroom and of the bride shall be heard no more at all in thee: for thy merchants were the great men of the earth; for by thy sorceries were all nations deceived.
Now they get nothing well played!
not at all how this stuff works - it goes back to a lower court to find a new settlement that's actually legal
@@chouseification that will NOT have 6 billion dollars in its settlement but its cool if everyone only gets 20 bucks cause that is legal ....
@@simonehudspeth861 this is a game of Go, not checkers. What it means is the Purdue family may themselves have to declare bankruptcy. Why comment if you have no idea how this stuff works?
They wouldn’t have received much to be honest. Most of it would have gone to states. The caveat is that it would have taken just as long to simply overturn the unenforceable portion.
@@chouseification how would it help if they have to file bankruptcy we all know the elite/superrich live off of loans anyways if they filed bankruptcy they would first have to liquidate all their assets and pay off the loans that they PROMISED to pay before they could be forced to pay any levies fines or judgments now who needs to not comment
they offered the 6 billion because yes it is less then what they would lose the legal way but the legal way would see everyone else paid first not the victims cause they were "damaged" last and yes the legal way the purdues end up broke but the victims end up not compensated
The Extreme Court of the United States (ECOTUS, formerly known as SCOTUS) is right on track to further define their approval by citizens. People, go to justices home! Prevent sleep, be loud, PROTESTS! PROTESTS!
I smell something fishy ....
