Just gonna swoop in and make an observation about the Bruce WIllis Woo's - he has frontotemporal dementia which inhibits his ability to be able to select the right words to say in any situation, so to give the vibes of "hey man I love you guys too", he gave you his best woo's. S'sad, but at the same time, pretty fucking rad to have any interaction with Bruce Willis.
Yep! I was gonna say this. It's the aphasia. My mom also has FTD, and she can no longer communicate. So his interaction with Bruce was really something to cherish for several reasons ❤
@@okstevie11 my mom had FTD. My mom lost the ability to communicate 1 year after officially being diagnosed even though we saw the signs year earlier. I’m just curious how far into her diagnosis did your mom lose the ability to communicate verbally.
I’m pretty sure he has a form of Broca’s aphasia, which would present itself exactly like you said-the best he could do. Should we call in and clarify? Lol
@@dhanks she got a diagnosed rather early on when it was just a lot of confusion and difficulty communicating her thoughts. That was 2018. 2021 was when things got really bad on every level. This year ('23) was pretty much the total loss of communication, only getting an occasional smile or shaking her head yes/no (not truly understanding the question)

To the Dad/Stepdad wedding issue: plan what you want for the stepdad …but tell your hothead dad beforehand what you’re going to do. But you wanted him to know that you were going to honor him too. Hopefully that helps your dad by ‘being in the know’, being told ahead.

I really dont even want to say this but I recently looked up aphasia which is the condition Bruce Willis has and its a loss of language skills which might explain why he woo'd at you when he recognized you. For the lady with the newborn. Maybe you could try to look at the situation more positively. He doesn't have to take leave unless he or you wanted him too. So. He wants to be around his baby and have those memories with you both. Question is , does he annoy you often anyway ? and are you scared to be around him for that much time? Already knowing it will drive you crazy? If so lighten up or if he's actually annoying then it doesn't seem like a compatible relationship. You both should strive to make this time all together the most positive as possible.
