Amazing. True gimbal evolution. What I love about it is, first of all, the AI tracking feature; it's important to keep up with what technology has to offer and Feiyutech has done an awesome job here. Second of all, I love the fact that Feiyutch does not only give you more options to stabilize the footage of any camera you may have, but it also gives you what you need to install them, unlike the competition. The third feature I love is the app; it just works. I don't have to struggle to get it to do what I need like it's happened to me with other brands. Feiyutech has you covered, and that's why they have loyal customers. Can't wait to go out and test it!

@@ZdenkaDarula Of course. Other brands sell separte accessories to be able to track a subject, but they cost around 500 dollars and it's a struggle to get them to work. Having this gimbal would change my workflow immensely. I love your channel, btw. Greetings! :)
I almost bought the Hohem MT2, then I saw your video of this new gimbal. When you said the tracking is built instead of mounted on like the Hohem, then that was a big plus. I also like the built in extra handle. I think it's great that I can use it for my iPhone 15 Pro Max and my Sony a7iv. But what I like most is that I can use it with the Black Magic App and still use the tracker. Keep up the good work!

Wow, I have used the old model before, and the FeiyuTech SCORP MINI 2 is even more evolved. My favorite improvements are the AI tracking function, improved button position, quick-detach design, and very light weight. I will keep an eye on it and maybe buy it. thanks for sharing.

The Scorp looks to be as smooth and well built as other Feiyu offerings. I’m not sure how long you were able to test the mini before filming or how many takes you edited from, but the ease of your use caught me eye. The additional length of the grap rod would help me capture the intricate features of areas within the locations I scout such as crown molding with how having to rely on a zoom. The payload features make me want to try out some of my longer lenses as well. But what make this a must have for me, the AI tracking. Wow. This will help when I make videos for walking paths of a location, the stairs, and of course videos of my pup @gooddogpetey.

Great Review! I love the versatility of being able to use everything from a cell phone, action , and mirrorless cameras and more. The accessories included as a kit make it a winner! But the best of it all for me is the AI ability to allow solo filming and tracking without additional camera person.

1. Like the improved buttons, especially the ergonomic joystic.
2. Really love the simplicity of changeing the vertical and horizontal modes.
3. The amount of accessories especially the weights, so I can easily change cameras or lences.

Love the updated features
1. Omg first off, the ai camera built into the gimbal itself. This is something we have been waiting for on the Scorp mini vey happy that they integrated it directly into the gimble. Absolutely love it!!!
2. The changing of the angle of the screen is such a smart idea. A little change that will help out so much when looking down tinkering with setting on the fly.
3. Love how with the smartphone clamp gives you access to to turn the mount easily to switch into vertical mode for filming for social media.
Those are my top 3 favorites but so many other features that I’m very excited for to such as the joystick change, bracketing, the regular lock on the wheel, and so much more. Can’t wait to try to get my hands on one to see how great everything is.
Edit: after looking up some specs on it a couple things I really wish they would have incorporated is a arca Swiss mount just to make everything a little easier and quick. I also see on the scorp 2 they have little memory marks to make it quicker and easier for rebalancing would be nice to see something like that for the mini 2. Would also like to see some deadband adjustments in a future firmware update. This gimbal seems so much better than the hohem mt2 in almost every aspect. The one little thing I do like about the mt2 is the arca Swiss and the mount at the top of the phone mount that is nice to have for a sunshade while using counter weights on the arm mount but putting the shade on arm screw wouldn’t be an issue with the weight system Feiyutech has that connects to the arm. Can’t wait for your next video with the head to head comparisons. And thank you for all the amazing content you provide. Your awesome!!!

I love your videos and detailed instructions as very detailed to the point. I have been wanting to own a gimbal for my videos, but being unemployed since the pandemic, it’s been very hard. I own an iPhone 13 Pro Max and no DSLR, but with your videos I have learned so many new things that the iPhone is better overall. Awesome video and great quality and editing. Listening to customers for their improvements or someone can't sleep at night with a creative dream! They keep improving, fantastic. One item that is so great to have is AI tracking that is attached to the gimbal. It won't get lost. 4 in 1 makes me want to buy it! Though I don't have an action camera or a compact camera. To be able to change directions when your phone is mounted is great, shorts to full video! To have a small mirrorless camera, that doesn't need anything else, seems to let you do any movement you like. Great gimbal.

1. The New ergonomics with the improved joystick
2. The addition of AI Tracking that works so seamlessly
3. The ability to change the orientation of the smartphone in the mount with a simple twist. No need to remove the phone or unclamp any mounting plates to switch back and forth.

Nice one and the gimbal looks to be a great option. The idea of a built in gimbal is very innovative. The gimbal is very light by current standards and looks well built and I like the thought that’s gone into the button placement. All in all well worth an in depth look.

1- the easier way to mount phones to the gimbal
2 - the tracking sensor, that seems very accurate and responsive

This gimbal has had some thought put into the designed. Love that i can use it with my mirrorless camera as well as the Iphones. It has always been an issue having to have two gimbals one. for the camera and one for the smart phone. FeiyuTech has solved the problem. Love the design looks very professional.Cheers

Nice improvements over the previous model and competition with actual dedicated phone mounting vs. the same kind of tripod attachment everyone else provides, a well-integrated A.I. sensor that can't fall off, those improved physical controls, and switching from the older tightening collars to the locking mechanisms from the bigger Scorp.

Wow, this gimbal really blew me away! My favorite features are: 1. The scorpion tail shape that it has, looks very practical and comfortable for 2 hands use and smooth stabilization. 2. The new AI tracking module that is BUILT IN, so no need to use wired or magnetic modules! And 3. How easy it is to change to vertical filming for Instagram, TikTok and RUclips shorts. I love the fact, that you can mount the camere vertically now. At the moment, im starting to make cooking videos with my mom for social media, and i want to be able to record these with my camera and not only my smartphone. Hello Zdenka. From the mounting screw, how much space this gimbal have until something hit the motor? I have a FDR-AX53, it has a still stabilization, but not while walking, so a gimbal like this one could come in hand for this kind of shot.
note: from the gravity center point to the back of the camera, with a tight room for angle movement, is about 11cm.

Hi Zdenka! Thank you for another useful video. I like the SCORP mini2 for its possibility to use both a camera and a phone, its simplicity of operation, and its AI tracking. I am curious how the AI will handle multiple objects in the frame and a temporary hiding of the tracked object (similarly to how you tested tracking with the Insta 360 Flow, which I later bought :-). Hynek.

Pozdrav Zdenka. Just a question since its the newest video. I have a Iphone 15 pro (cant find a PRO MAX in Croatia right now) and I need a zoom lens thats at least 5x-10x for shooting rally videos.
Is there anything out there you can recommend I get?

I like the new phone setup. I do wonder if it is easier to balance with lens and filter attachments. The counter weight is very welcome. I have the original Mini and have tried to add 3rd party counterweights when using lenses and filters with my phone (I'm hooked on anamorphic lenses and neutral density filters to lock shutter speed at 1/48). Wish I had the extra money to add this gimbal to my collection.

the top three features that caught my attention are the compact size of the gimbal, the versatility to use different devices, and the design of the gimbal. it gives you the option to use it in normal orientation or to use it for low to the ground shots.

I got the Scorp mini just a few months back and wondering if I can get a vertical camera plate adapter for it.
I would try to compact the company if there is an option to get that separately
First off, as always, a great video and review you have made here! 🙏🏻
Here is what I think are the best features of it:
- AI tracking (it seems rather good, I would love if we can also select positioning in tracking)
- Support for most camera types including phones up to larger cameras, this avoids carrying multiple systems, and it does look easy to switch camera types.
- The handle seems useful to stabilize it better for heavy cameras or specific capture scenarios
But also importantly as mentioned at start of video it seems they do listen to customer feedback and adjusted buttons. I do not have the first version so cannot really say if it would have been an issue, but it seems reasonable and a good idea to improve the joystick and buttons that could be accidentally pressed.
Note: do not count me as participant, I just felt like sharing here my feedback if it can help improving future versions or products.

I caved in already and ordered the Hohem MT2.
It was around £320 on Amazon with the sensor but only £263 on the Hohem site and they give you a carry case and a boom extension pole so a pretty good deal.
Part of the reason I went with the MT2 was I don't like the back handle on the Scorp. I imagine the camera will show it if you vlog back at yourself while holding the gimbal in an elevated potion looking down. Maybe not but the Hohem just seems a bit more attractive and the colours are gorgeous.
Great, I will use your link for Epidemic. I was leaning towards them in the end because Artlist doesn't let you break up the music into individual instruments as the Epidemic files do.

this gimble sounds like THE gimble. Having the ability to cover all the possible filming hardware it's a must. I also find very attractive the angle and positioning of both screen and joystick. And the greatest improvement I find is the AI tracking. I've seen this feature evolve over time, but this level of accuracy and speed, and also how far in the distance is capable of locating the subject, seems unique. I would very much like to see a test of the AI tracking in complex environments to see how far it can be pushed. Thanks for your videos! Got the Scorp mini from 2022 (from kickstarter). I am very interested in the AI feature, the new joystick and (most important!) the better power knob for not always turning on in my backpack while hiking 😂😂

That said.. does it allow you to re-frame like the Hohem iSteady? So can you have it track you in 1/3 of the frame? I also like that the tracker isn't a separate device that attaches to the gimbal. It won't fall off and get lost. That said how does it track in selfie mode? The advantage of the iSteady being separate is you can flip the tracker around for selfie shots from the back camera.

It's also nice that it can move from a smartphone to a camera easily.
Iwould use it mainly to make panoramic views about miniaures and using the handle commands would be really useful

I especially loved the size of the gimbal and its AI-tracking capability. The stabilization is also terrific and will come in handy for me, especially in documentary and news situations where I am moving quickly. It is a very well-put-together gimbal, which I would use with my iPhone 15 pro max and my Sony mirrorless camera.

I've had a couple of smartphone gimbals. I quit using them because of limitations including weight capacity. I like that this gimbal isn't too big but has a good weight capacity. I could see using it with my new iPhone, ND filter, and an external mic. I really appreciate the fact that it has AI tracking that isn't dependent upon using the manufacturer's app. Again, I prefer using more sophisticated and robust apps with greater audio/video control when shooting with my smartphone. I also like that this kit comes with a wide range of accessories - they don't nickel and dime you to death for extra purchases for items you really need to make the gimbal work well for you.

I'm thinking of starting an youtube channel with minimal equipment - probably smartphone + gimbal + lights.
If you have an iPhone, then DJI is a good choice. If you have android definitely not DJI…. I would choose Hohem iSteady m6
@@ZdenkaDarula thank you for your Advice, Zdenka. I have to buy a smartphone for that, but it will be an Android. I like the fact, that dji has this ecosystem including wireless microphones, drones and osmo pocket, which give me a good perspective to add equipment in the future, if everything goes well. I admit, the Hohem is better - maybe I just get the Feiyutech Scorp Mini 2 which on the other hand give me the option to add a bigger sony camera later. Hard decisions, but your channel helps a lot!

2 different gimbals… M6 is only for smartphones and this is also for big cameras and action cameras. This requires further balancing
My top 3 likes about the FeiyuTech SCORP Mini2 .... 1) the wide diameter reach pole (seems silly but if you have big hands...) 2)Quick installation sliders 3) MOST IMPORTANT ai sensor built into the gimbal and can be used with or without the app. That will let me use it while LIVE Streaming on YT

So 1. I like the Speed of the AI ability on this Gimbal, it seems faster than some others. 2. I like the attachments for different electronics. 3. Seems pretty sturdy and light which is always a good thing. Would like to see this match up against the ISteady MT2

I really like the smartphone orientation with a simple twist. The addition of the weights is also a big plus. I think that will make those orientation changes a breeze. And AI tracking is a game changer for us solo shooters.
There’s so much more to like, the second handle, the ability to use your favorite app, a payload that will allow additional lenses and the light.
