Dear brothers and sisters in Christ, i wd appreciate your prayers for me for healing for intense backpain due to a nerve pressing on my lower back bone. The pain can be so bad that I will be in tears. Nothing is impossible with the Lord! Thank you.
"Nothing is impossible with the Lord!" - Wrong. You're employing an antiquated definition of 'Omnipotence'. God can't create round squares. He cant create married bachelors. He can't create a rock so heavy that he cannot lift it. A more nuanced and coherent definition of Omnipotence is: God can actualize *all* logically possible worlds.
@@AStoicMaster Or give a straight answer on why Romans 1:18 did not work, with all angels? Also, on if the Inquisition and slave trade, was equally critical to intervene on, as what Achan, his sons, and his grandkids, hid from Jericho?
[Revelation 4:11 King James Bible] Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.
for his pleasure, for "God's Pleasure"?......that's kinda sad if he is all knowing, all powerful, and self sufficient why the need to feel needy? why does he lack pleasure? why he needs Glory? why he needs honor? most importantly why he needs power? lol.....it dosen't makes sense.
I believe God created man to rule this world and govern His creation on earth, in obedience. And He created man in His image. When I can't understand myself why I do certain things a certain way, who am I, with such little brains, to question my Heavenly Father 'why He created?' or 'how He created?' He has a purpose for every single smallest atom that moves. Creation reveals His glory. How amazing and truly divine and holy is He!!!!!
We are created for His glory and pleasure. He made all things very good. This is the same pleasure that an inventor derives from its inventions. Now we behold His glory from all His creation and receive pleasure. This Joy and satisfaction God sees in us brings pleasure to Him.
But God knows who will go to hell so why God create us, create me, just to see me in hell? If it not better to not create us? I just cant understand this, I wish I was never born, because I can not win this battle, I have tried many times but I done, I just can not, I should never born.
You have to remember...God knew Adam would sin, but God knew that Jesus would have to die for our sins. 2 Peter 3:9 tells us that God wants all to be saved. Paul says that God gives everyone a measure of faith to know Him..Romans 12:3. I'll try to answer you with three thoughts. 1. Love can only exist between two...when both have freedom to choose. God wants a creation to know Him and to have a relationship with Him. If God forced us to love him...than the love and relationship would not be genuine. The only way to truly have a true relationship is if both parties have the ability to choose to love each other. 2. God could have made us robots with no capability to choose...but again..that's not true love from God...and our love for Him would not be genuine. 3. God does not send anyone to hell...they choose hell over God. If God forced them into Heaven..that would be Hell for them. Hell is separation from God and those who reject God...choose the separation. I'll leave you with this thought. Do you want to risk an eternity away from God because of something you cannot understand or something you battle? It's apparent that your struggle reveals that God is speaking to you. I pray you accept His free gift of salvation through His son Jesus Christ before it's too late. @@piotrkulpa8034

where is the biblical quote for that.......Adam and eve was created in order to rule the world....... be clear and always quote verses to avoid misunderstanding......but he didnt answer the real deal of why creation in the first place? if your answer was to share love .....god is self-sufficient right? why would he need affirmation or an object to give love? if so he wanted to share y he created humans imperfect and weak? so that they could be deceived by serpents? so that we could be under chains called law? so that we will be pushed and pulled by two forces called good and evil? why was serpent to some extent honest about the consequences of eating the fruit even tho it was half lie and half truth....why did God also did the same? didnt he told the truth about death but didnt tell about u regaining consciousness? is god and the devil (satan) liars or both were true? then who is actually god ?

I am currently a college student. Anxiety and worry are always at the doorstep of my heart. On the contrary, knowing His sovereignty over my life in relation to why I was created is supremely satisfying. In sight of this satisfying truth, anxiety is no more.

He wanted to see himself outside of himself however we were poisoned by sin. A higher power created replications of himself; however, we’ve all betrayed him so he has the right to allow us to suffer and not shine all his glory over us until we become full believers. Those who believe will be able to see him in all his glory and see outside of the state and dimensions that we are limited to. Once you make it to heaven you become limitless. For example, Satan is limitless so he has the power to continuously create sin until Jesus comes back to earth on his fathers behalf. Just as perplexing as the notion of something out of nothing is the idea that an all-perfect God could have any unfulfilled desires. This concept of desire in an all-perfect, self-contained godhead has always puzzled me. On the one hand, you have God enjoying his blissful perfection, in need of nothing and, on the other hand, that same blissfully perfect God suddenly gets a creative urge, knowing that if he acts on that urge he will be opening Pandora's Box, a box filled with so much horror and suffering any sane entity would recoil at the thought. And yet, we are asked to believe this omniscient, all-loving godhead opens Pandora's Box anyway when nothing is compelling him to do so. When absolutely nothing is forcing him to abandon his state of bliss, in which there is no evil, no suffering, and no eternal torment, nothing compelling him to end that blissful state to create a nightmare. Is it possible for a godhead to become bored with his perfection? That is a question easily overlooked in the stampede of drama that pours out of the bible from the very first chapter. Again, I ask, what could compel a blissfully perfect, loving god to disturb his eternal bliss to create a place of eternal torment for creatures who never needed to exist? This idea is a hole in the creation story big enough to drive a Mack truck through, and yet Christian drama addicts pretend they don't see it.
My thinking about God and humanity is totally turned over by this truth: God is the most valuable Reality. He is infinitely valuable. It really changes thinking about ALL bible and is all biblical. Fist commandment, Christ principle of being disciple by "hating relatives" in hiperbolic sense, Pauls command to do everything for the glory of God. Stunning, glorious, crushing, liberating truth.
Why did God created us with different cultures, ethnicities, race, skin tone, level of intellegence, level of poverty and richness, level of beauty etc? Fairness amd equality?
Created to be Sons, heirs of the FATHER in Heaven, thank you. John 14:20 “On that day you will realize that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you.”
That still doesn't answer the question of why we're here in the first place. That answers "what happens next?" or "What is God's plans for his people?". In order for us to be with God, we have to exist, and God in His omniscience knew that people would reject Him. He also knew that the people who reject him would suffer eternally, so even if we have choice within our own lives, we had no choice to exist in the first place, so, logically, it's God's fault that people suffer eternally for rejecting Him.
@Imran Khan Don't apologise, you are correct and I specified choose for that reason. There are many more ways in which the gifts of God are misused, abused, or even trashed than there are ways in which they are received in edifying grace. Narrow is the path and few enter the gate, unfortunately.
he created us because he was "overflowing and already perfect"... well seeing how things turned out, if he were perfect and all knowing he should have been able to keep that "overflowing" to himself If he isn't lacking with or without us why does he expect us to worship him and then burn us when we don't? He should be just fine with people doing good without acknowledging him and not punish them
No one understands everything, as I do not. The only way you can really understand a peace which passes understanding is through the love of God. Love. God is love! Love creates. That's what love does. So I believe that we were created so that we may experience that Same Love . In order to experience it you must be conscious . You were created as conscious being. In order to be a conscious being you have to be conscious of your self. Self-aware! So what I believe is referred to as original sin is the illusion that we alone operate by our own power and that it is ours when in reality love is to be given not taken. This is what selfishness is. So I believe that is what is meant by the term in death there is life. Dying unto the self is the only way to truly receive life. I believe that's what is revealed or expressed by Jesus dying on the cross. That he did the same thing but he did it For All Mankind. This is just an attempt at my understanding. I am always open to learning and progressing on this spiritual path that we all are on.
Me and my brother had an argument partly about this but when we came to a similar conclusion as this one, he came up with the question: why doesn't he make this fully clear to us, it would be allot easier for us to live right and to get to him (also for atheists) and share in his love. I couldn't really answer this question but maybe somebody else can.
The key phrase there was, “it would be easier” God wants us to see and pursue Him and act on our questions… I love God, I just cannot grasp the concept of why He created us. I just see it as selfish that we now have to glorify Him because He made us. And if we don’t we go to hell. Just feels forced and I know it’s a trap. Regardless of how I feel I must remain faithful to Him and bring glory to His name because that is what Jesus called me to do.
God's Test A Men .十 God's Testament against us letting us know what we can and cannot do. Why is there a Judgement Day? When we humans think we did no wrong ? It is there because we will definitely Sin (neurological typical) it is through witnessing unrighteousness we choose God's Righteousness. It is spoken by God that we will start turning wicked turning from children to youth. Hormone and adolescent rebellion starts around our teenage years , the Jews celebrate the coming of age around 13 years old . Mainly because the child and a teenage has the responsibility symbolically to bear their own sins from that point onwards. The Test that God allows everyone is very personal , like our fingers prints unique to each individual. God alone weights our Hearts and search the minds Jeremiah 17. It definitely will be wiser to think more seriously about life and the purpose of creating it. In order to discover/conclude Righteousness in the midst of unrighteousness and to compile a case of against each individual so that we have no excuses when we are in the hot seat. Now your question was why not make it more deliberate so we will just pick God over our own ways. It is deliberate by Almighty God to make it questionable and open ended on purpose. If God is Hovering over us showing us His Might , most will choose him out of fear and in blind obedience. There wouldn't be any Righteousness involved. You do or obey because of Fear not because you Understand it is wrong and provides no value to others. When you freely Choose what is Correct and Just in the midst of other tempting choices that could provide benefits to oneself.. That is then Righteous because you choose God's Way and not your own ways or the worldly ways. Zechariah 4 verse 6 will answer your question of God's intention in His Design of Men(humans) test . A Test of Righteousness not a test of cheap human love . Isaiah 61.
I pray this can be of some use after all this time. I know it was to me while writing, so thank you for asking the question. From my understanding of Scripture and also experiencing Scripture in my life, I believe that God allows us to get hurt in the dark to increase our love of the Light. Meaning, in order for us to share in God's upmost glory, God seeks to show us both what it's like in and out of Him so that we truly desire and subsequently pursue the highest pleasures inside of Him. Also, you'd be surprised, as I was, that unbelievers are so taken over by what they have right in front of them that most, when told of the promise, would rather blow all their money on the shiny red apple today then to spend a portion, hold fast and wait on the future apple tree. God bless you and your brother.

Meditate on the sufficiency of God that was presented. We heard that God enjoys God's presence, His love, His beauty, His joy, in perfect unity and to infinite degrees as the Trinity enjoy these (and His other) excellent qualities in and from each other. Then go to our great God and thank Him for His eagerness to share. Also remember Pastor John also mentioned something about glorifying God by enjoying Him....

God is the King of kings. A king here on earth is a human being just like all of us. A king needs food, water, clothes and shelter, just like everyone else in the world. A king doesn't need a crown, yet he has a crown, which brings his kingship visual glory. A king doesn't need a throne, yet he has a throne, which also brings his kingship visual glory. A king here on earth has unneeded riches, but he has them for his glory and his pleasure. God, the King of kings, can be seen in the same light. Except, his glory is infinity times richer than a king here on earth. [Isaiah 66:1 (KJV) - Thus saith the LORD, The heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool: where is the house that ye build unto me? and where is the place of my rest?] God doesn't need earth, but he created earth and everything in earth for his glory and his pleasure. We had pulled the footstool from under God's feet once we had sinned against God. We are alive because we have a purpose. We only have one true purpose, given to us from the one true purpose-giver, God. Death is the result of us choosing not to glorify God, but an alternative. We have life for the glory of God, and when we don't glorify the one true God, we must face death. But we have all the reason to glorify God, as he gave us a second chance through the sacrifice of his Son to live again; the great communication and great display of his sharing love. I hope this helped.
@@dralarco Meditation on the sufficiency of God does not tell me why God created man. Meditation on the sufficiency of God does not add to Him. He does not need us to meditate on Him. The question was, "why did God create {man}". Since God is complete in and of Himself (His Aseity ) He needs nothing to complete Him. He does not need our worship. Our existence does nothing to improve or add to Him. A couple of the arguments Piper made...... I agree with Piper's argument that the overflow of His love to His creatures is displayed in creation. However, it does not say why we were created We were created to glorify God, I agree. But again this does not really say why God created us because He does not need us to glorify Him.
@@dchaunpalu4655 God is not man (Numbers 23:19), rather He is Spirit (John 4:24). The connections you make (i.e. He doesn't need a crown but had one) from Scripture are analogies or comparisons so that we as finite creatures can understand God more. This is the special revelation of God through Scripture to show us God and His attributes. Some times anthropomorphic language (assigning human characteristics to something that is not human we can do this with inanimate earthly object too) is used. I think your argument places, or tries to place, God in a box. To say we are alive because we have a purpose does not say why God created us. Again, I agree with Dr Piper here. I don't disagree with your statements. What I am saying is these statements and arguments don't answer the question; "why did God create us."
Really simple answer, actually. Revealed to John, and found in Revelation 4:11...He created us for His pleasure. Nothing more or less. He did it because it pleased Him to do so.
To me, that is a perfectly sufficient answer. God is all powerful, He can do whatever He wants. I'm perplexed at how this makes Him an all-loving God, however. God knew what would happen. He knew every instance of suffering, death, every child starving, every diagnosis of terminal cancer, every beginning and end of alzheimer's and the families who had to experience it.... and He still created us, all for his 'pleasure'? Just seems odd to me. And I don't think anyone, even a Christian, can really fault me for thinking that this is an irrational characterization of God
I hope it doesn't please him when the normal state is suffering. I guess it does or he could intervene and call of the big worldwide Job'ing of the population.

God is Holy, Righteous, and Just, He will not overlook sin. (Isaiah 6, Revelation 5, Nahum 1, Revelation 20-22) Mankind is sinful, selfish, and depraved. Fortunately for us, God is also Loving, Merciful, and Gracious. He has made a way, and only one way for guilty sinners to be declared not guilty, and at the same time satisfy His Divine Justice. God Himself took on a human nature, Jesus of Nazareth, fully God, fully man, and lived the perfect life we never could, voluntarily gave his life on a bloody cross that we deserve, then rose from the grave to prove His Divinity and victory over death. He then ascended to Heaven where He rules and from where He will one day return to "judge the living and the dead" (2 Timothy 4). That is the gospel Truth. Repent and believe in Jesus Christ and you will be saved. That is what the bible says.
It's not as if God was unaware or unappreciative of His mercy and justice before he planned out and made everything. Instead, because he planned so well to show those qualities we can be certain He was aware of and appreciating them within the Trinity. Our God is very very smart. He could have demonstrated his Grace and perfect wrath to Angels. Or monkeys... We certainly don't enhance or benefit this display by some intrinsic value we have in ourselves.

YOU CAN ALWAYS TELL WHEN A PREACHER DONT HAVE THE ANSWER,BECAUSE HE TALKS ABOUT EVERYTHING ELSE BUT THE QUESTION...HE CREAYED MANKIND TO REVEAL HIS ATTRIBURES
God the Father is our true Father and we are his children, therefore we as children on this Earth have the ability to obtain what he is; and become an eternal Father, with the ability to have children and therefore do the same for our children.
The answer is no one really knows why God did the things he did and we're still trying to figure it out too this day, but all we know is it's for a good/higher purpose
This is tough because God is fully satisfied with himself and is Triune therefore a self-consciousness apart from any creative act. Plus even saying “decided” is anthropomorphic even though Scripture uses such terms of God constantly and most do so or his nature would remain utterly mysterious to us. Nevertheless, making a decision implies change and yet God is unchanging without shadow of turning. I assume all his knowledge and his eternal plan for creation was always known to him a priori. But I’m no professional theologian and an Epistemology of God is extremely complex.
John Piper is surely right in what he says about the loving intra-trinitarian relationships. Even before creation, Father, Son and Holy Spirit were loving each other with a perfect, infinite love.
Hi guys I've been going through alot lately and I told someone that God doesn't love me because if he did he would've helped me.These thoughts popped into my head saying I committed the unforgivable sin.Did I commit it?
No you did not. You are forgiven for these thoughts. Christ knew people would have doubts come to them, he knows we live in a world full of sin, Satan, and evil spirits always trying to make us believe lies over truth. All you have to do is repent and if you have not been then receive baptism by both water and the Holy Spirit. Much love.
Also you must always remember that God answers prayers that will benefit you and give Him the Glory. Many times we pray for things we think we need and we don't actually need. Sometimes we don't get prayers answered because there is better in store for us than what we wanted. Sometimes it is because we need to truly humble ourselves. God is God. He is not Santa or any other fairytale creature that has to do anything for us. Some things he allows to be taken away from us even when it hurts us so that we will focus on Him instead of the things or people that we put above him in our hearts and minds. I say this because I have struggled in many ways in life. I have had heart break that almost broke me completely, I have been poor, sick, etc. Once I truly came to trust Christ alone and humble myself to him in requests, then I started to receive blessings from him. I am thankful for everything. Without him we have nothing of value. In him we have the most valuable of all...real love.
While we were lost, twisted in our minds, God stooped down in Christ. Not to condemn us, but to save, heal, restore mankind from the fall of man. Now that we HAVE BEEN justified by His blood how much more shall we be restored back to origin (His image and likeness) by His Spirit because of His great love? www.anewcreationinchrist.nl
Don’t let the devil get a hold of your mind! You are washed through the shedding of blood by our Lord. Repent, and your sins will be hidden in Jesus. Remember, that is why He died for us. Stay encouraged. Our God is faithful to forgive, slow to anger. He loves you, and He is waiting on you. God bless you!
I struggled with this question. But you know what, it doesn't matter. He is my Creator God, He can do as He pleases. As His creature, I bow to His sovereignty! Hallelujah! 😇
I believe that man was made by God to take care of the world and it's beauty. God did command Adam to till the field. We need to be stewards of the garden.
John Piper is absolutely right about Process Theology. It is a grade A heresy. It is also right that God's aseity is an important truth. It is also true that God didn't need to create the universe. One thing Piper didn't mention, but which is also true, is that God COULD HAVE chosen not to create the universe. God has free will in that respect.
Ask yourself why would you get a house pet . What will a pet do for you? Not too much besides keep you company. Or why would you have kids? Are you expecting to get some kind of great reward or something in return?

When you become fearful that is Satan trying to scare you from doing what your spirit is longing for. Just pray out loud. Say in the mighty name of Jesus Christ who saved me from all sin I am now protected from all evil spirits. The Holy Spirit is filling every ounce of my body and no other spirit has a bond or hold on me any longer. All spirits of evil must leave my presence and the presence of the Holy Spirit in the name of Jesus Christ for He is the King of Kings, Lord of Lords, and the very Word of God. Jesus please send your peace into my body and mind and let me rest in you. Thank you so much Jesus.
There is also an answer for this in Genesis 2 where the Bible records that God had not caused it to rain upon the Earth because there was no man to till the ground. So we can also look at it as God created man to manage the resources on the Earth.
i wish God was there for us to talk to with answers to our deepest questions...but no...God doesnt interact with us. its like he didnt exist...he might just regret us and just gave up on us...letting us playout our existence alone! i wish it was different but wishing does nothing! we just watch things happen until we die...after that who knows what happens...hopefully our life's questions finally get answered.
But we are so insignificant compared to the Trinity, are we as pets? But even saying I’m like a dog compared to Him makes me feel like I’m not even worthy of that
To receive joy through the love of his children, as a parent to his children. That was God's motivation, to give and receive joy through love. Our purpose is to give joy and love to God. It's as simple as that.
If God is always eternal Trinity so how can part of eternal God dies for 3 days ? God is not Trinity with personalities, GOD is ONE, and Son is image of ONE GOD in realm of creation. *"And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God;"* Apocalypse 3:14
@@macumus so how immortal Creator died for three days ? It is obvious that the Image of the Father's character embodied in human body died and was raised up. If Christ was 2nd immortal person of Trinity he couldn't die at all !!! Therefore, the Bible explains that Christ is the embodiment of the Father in human realm. *"For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace."* Isaiah 9:6 LOGOS is FATHER WORD in in which everything is created (Jana 1:1). There is one GOD, and Christ is HIS Image in realm of CREATION. *"Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature"* Col 1:15 Christ can be called GOD on every level of realm of Creation, beacuse He is IMAGE of FATHER. *"(7) If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him. (8) Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us. (9) Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou [then], Shew us the Father?"* John 14

First of all, I wish to say that while pastor John’s remarks are feasible in answering the question “Why God created Us?” they may not be however God’s actual reasons, Only God knows the the true complete answer to this question, not man and probably not any man living here on earth. I don’t understand why people think they can answer for God implying they know as God knows? The best answer should have been something along the line that “I don’t really know the complete answer to that question”. However, here are some passages in the scriptures and here is what I believe but this would be my answer and not necessarily God’s. There are always going to be things we cannot answer especially when we are trying to answer for God Himself.
It is an answer to satan's appeal regarding his sentence when he rebelled against God. ' "it is unfair" ' will be his objection regarding God's judgment upon him. ' "how can a loving God cast his creatures to hell?" ' is the most valid appeal or objection. God must maintain His perfect character in executing His judgment against His erring creatures. God saved us, not because of love, but because of justice. He is Just. Our Lord Jesus Christ satisfies God's justice. Our point of contact with God is always through His justice, never through His love, whether you are a believer or an unbeliever. No sentimentalism or emotional activities is involved in saving our souls, else He will be partial. He is impartial. Thus maintaining His perfection.
God created us because he was bored lmao. No matter how much you say that it was because he loved us or any other reason. I'll explain. When you're bored you would play a game, right? So, you would love the game because it cures you're boredom. If God created us to worship him, it could mean that he was bored and wanted minions to worship him. There was no reason for God to create us because of how useless we are.
1. If an omnipotent and omnibenevolent being exists, then it is the case that there is no evil in the world (given that if this being existed it would have both the capacity and desire to eliminate all evil) 2. It is not the case that there is no evil in the world 3. An omnipotent and omnibenevolent being does not exist Both are variants of the problem of creation. If God is perfect and knows creation will lead to evil then why create at all? This presentation slides right into the conversation, no qualifications about gods Omni qualities just two premises that are very hard to disagree with. 1. God is a morally perfect being. 2. The actions of a morally perfect being cannot decrease the degree of moral perfection. Evil exists so God doesn't, or isn't morally perfect. Challenge the first and a whole bunch of theology goes out the window. Challenging the second is extremely unintuitive, the Christian has to special plead that creation itself is somehow different.
If the theist employs a free will defense, then I'd run a Socratic argument: 1. If it’s possible for people to freely choose to do what is right on one occasion, then it’s possible for them to freely choose to do what is right on every occasion. If the theist wants to reject this premise, then they need to render a contradiction. 2. So why didn’t god make this possibility a reality - i.e., why didn’t god create a world with just people who *freely* do only what is good? 3. To say that he can’t is to say that there is a possible state of affairs that god can’t bring about. 4. But of course this is equivalent to saying that god is not omnipotent! 5. So, this answer to the problem of evil only works if you admit that god isn’t omnipotent, and thus reject all Orthodox conceptions of god.
We are ALL sinners that fall short of the glory of God. And we ALL are deserving of eternal punishment in hell because sin is so serious (sin is evil and it is the cause of all pain, death, and suffering). And that’s why Jesus suffered soooo much for us, and that’s why He died on the cross for ALL our sins (past, present, AND future sins) and rose from the dead 3 days later! Jesus did all this because He loves us sooooo much, you can’t even fully comprehend it! And you may have eternal life with Him if you repent (to change your mind about Jesus, to believe that Jesus Christ is the Lord our God) and have faith in Him, then you will be saved! (Let’s make it clear that being a good person WILL NOT get you into Heaven! You can only be saved by the grace God will show you, if you repent and have faith in Jesus and in what Jesus did for us on the cross and that He rose from the dead 3 days after He died for us! ONLY THEN, will you will be saved)! And do not wait because you do not know when you will die (sit and think deeply about that. You have NO CLUE when you will die! Today could be your last day, tonight could be your last night. You can die in your sleep or even in the next hour!) Im saying all this because I want you to realize how urgent and important it is to have Jesus! If you have Jesus, you will NEVER have to worry! You won’t have to worry about school, family problems, life, or EVEN DEATH because you will have the LORD your GOD, RIGHT BY YOUR SIDE, EVERY SINGLE DAY, EVERY SINGLE HOUR, EVER SINGLE MINUTE and EVERY SINGLE SECOND of your life! GOD can help you through ANY challenge, through ANY hardship, and through ANY depressing time in your life! GOD WILL NEVER leave you, GOD WILL NEVER forget about you, GOD WILL NEVER betray you, GOD WILL NEVER forsake you, and GOD WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU!!! And that is why GOD is calling you RIGHT NOW to be saved!!I!

for his pleasure, for "God's Pleasure"?......that's kinda sad if he is all knowing, all powerful, and self sufficient why the need to feel needy? why does he lack pleasure? why he needs Glory? why he needs honor? most importantly why he needs power? lol.....it dosen't makes sense.

He has a purpose for every single smallest atom that moves.

It's amazing how you guys explain it to know God's glory and his love toward human I think the more you know about God the closer you feel to him!
I pray you accept His free gift of salvation through His son Jesus Christ before it's too late.

where is the biblical quote for that.......Adam and eve was created in order to rule the world....... be clear and always quote verses to avoid misunderstanding......but he didnt answer the real deal of why creation in the first place? if your answer was to share love .....god is self-sufficient right? why would he need affirmation or an object to give love? if so he wanted to share y he created humans imperfect and weak? so that they could be deceived by serpents? so that we could be under chains called law? so that we will be pushed and pulled by two forces called good and evil? why was serpent to some extent honest about the consequences of eating the fruit even tho it was half lie and half truth....why did God also did the same? didnt he told the truth about death but didnt tell about u regaining consciousness? is god and the devil (satan) liars or both were true? then who is actually god ?
this wouldn’t make sense because god can’t feel anything. I believe in him it’s just why would he make us. Moses wrote the bible in a way that us humans could understand because the way god said it wouldn’t make sense to us. I’m just really confused

John 14:20
“On that day you will realize that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you.”
Thank you so much pastor.
Beautiful. I suppose we get to share even in this overflow when we choose to have children?
@Imran Khan Don't apologise, you are correct and I specified choose for that reason. There are many more ways in which the gifts of God are misused, abused, or even trashed than there are ways in which they are received in edifying grace. Narrow is the path and few enter the gate, unfortunately.
he created us because he was "overflowing and already perfect"... well seeing how things turned out, if he were perfect and all knowing he should have been able to keep that "overflowing" to himself
If he isn't lacking with or without us why does he expect us to worship him and then burn us when we don't?
Isaiah 61.
@captainpoo6625 God is good and everything he wants is Good
I pray this can be of some use after all this time.

I believe that certain things can't be understood logically and explicitly, so those questions might be a waste of time...
I one hundred percent agree with all that you said Pastor John. However I don’t think you really answer the question
The Bible Project does a good job exploring the narrative of the Bible, like in Genesis and the Garden, and Man's purpose that still supports Pipers explanation, but gets down in conversation and breaking down on their podcasts. Gives you a whole deeper and loving appreciation and respect to God and the Trinity.
However, it does not say why we were created
We were created to glorify God, I agree.

(Isaiah 6, Revelation 5, Nahum 1, Revelation 20-22)
Mankind is sinful, selfish, and depraved. (Romans 3, Romans 7, Psalm 51, Jeremiah 17:9, Genesis 3, Genesis 6, and more.
Therefore, God must punish all sinners. (Romans 6:23, Ezekiel 18:20, Revelation 20-21, and more.)
What about His mercy and grace? That could not be displayed without us. Is that wrong or right?
It's not as if God was unaware or unappreciative of His mercy and justice before he planned out and made everything. Instead, because he planned so well to show those qualities we can be certain He was aware of and appreciating them within the Trinity.
Our God is very very smart. He could have demonstrated his Grace and perfect wrath to Angels. Or monkeys... We certainly don't enhance or benefit this display by some intrinsic value we have in ourselves.

But why?
Why not? Here's an analogy that is poor, but it may get the point across. If I plan a vacation for my family...I do so..to share an experience with them...to bring joy to their lives. I don't plan the vacation so my family will worship me and talk about how amazing I am for planning the vacation. I didn't plan the vacation to try to manipulate them and hold it over their heads later when they disappoint me and then say, "Do your remember that vacation? Look at what I did for you and this is the thanks I get!"
No...I plan a vacation out of love for my family...even if they never thank me...I loved them enough to give them the trip of a lifetime.
When God created us...He did much in the same way. He couldn't help, but create us...to share His love with us and for us to experience the wonder of the universe, even if we never thank Him for it. Think about all the good things you have experienced in this life and what you would have missed out on...if God had said, "No...I'm not going to make humans because some will be ungrateful."

If God is always eternal Trinity so how can part of eternal God dies for 3 days ? God is not Trinity with personalities, GOD is ONE, and Son is image of ONE GOD in realm of creation.
*"And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God;"* Apocalypse 3:14
Jesus is the beginning. And the end. Even though He always was and always will be. He is the Creator of all things!!! Col. 1:18
*"For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace."* Isaiah 9:6
LOGOS is FATHER WORD in in which everything is created (Jana 1:1). There is one GOD, and Christ is HIS Image in realm of CREATION.
*"Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature"* Col 1:15
Christ can be called GOD on every level of realm of Creation, beacuse He is IMAGE of FATHER.

Does the person who asks the questions ever comment when he covers the topic
Wow! Share love. 😊
I agreeee 100000000000%
Not completely implausible but I would be wary of ascribing human psychology to a being that transcends time and space, especially one who created it
Honestly I didn't get anything from this ,Im just hearing someone mumbling around words
1. If an omnipotent and omnibenevolent being exists, then it is the case that there is no evil in the world (given that if this being existed it would have both the capacity and desire to eliminate all evil)
2. It is not the case that there is no evil in the world
3. An omnipotent and omnibenevolent being does not exist
Both are variants of the problem of creation.
If the theist employs a free will defense, then I'd run a Socratic argument:
From Ecclesiastes: " have reverence for God and obey His commands bec this is why we're created for"
I’m not satisfied with your answer it seems you took 13 minutes to tell something that didn’t really answer the question I love God and I am a creation of God and I try my best to follow Jesus‘s teachings for I am a Christian. The conclusion I have come to is a lot better than the one you have come to
True Lord Jesus Christ.

Abourachid Hamidi Islam is a false religion that supports idolatry, sexual immorality, murder, lying, and much much more. Christianity is the only true religion and is the only way to the truth and Yahweh is the only God their shall ever be. Their is no other and shall be no other. If you want to learn the true colors of Islam I recommend the channel of Christian prince, as he refutes much of the Quran, whilst being an expert in Christianity, and Arabic whilst writing books about the deception of “Allah”.

Having experienced demonic interference in my time, especially before being Christian, the account Mohammed gave of his messenger and the effects on him allign perfectly with it being a demon. Add to this that those who knew him referred to it as his demon and bearing in mind inventing an alternative anti-Christian narrative is the satan's MO (see numerous post-Christian alterations to common Roman pagan myths referred to in the ante-nicean Church fathers for precedent), I feel I must warn you with love to pray to God who created the heavens and the earth and ask for clarity around this. Turn to the Lord Jesus in faith and repentance, and you will be saved. It's not complex.
Just come to our Father, beloved.Lay it all out- your fear,anger,sadness-all of it.Repent of all sins,no need to name them all-He knows, sees, always have. He's always been there, never changing-you've always been loved, and wanted! In Yeshua's beautiful name, healing, forgiveness, and eternal life is yours-He made you,for Him!You are most beloved.Read a Psalm a day-see the difference, feel His love.In Yeshua's precious name,I pray for you to know His presence, strength, and healing. How loved you are!
Recognise and repent of your sins and accept God's gracious gift of sacrifice so that whoever believes in Him may be saved. May God bless you.
God loves you. That's why He stooped down in Christ to freely give you back the divine life Adam lost in his fall. Ask Holy Spirit (the same as Jesus, but invisible) to guide you into truth. He will do! He is right there!

If i had a choice, i would not have been created, Even if theres a heaven. I wish i didnt have to say that. But thats how i really feel. With all the pain and suffering in this world . Its not worth it.
You still have these choice. Either to accept Jesus and live without pain and suffering or reject Him and experience the second death. Where you cease to exist any longer
Infact your assertion include you must have a life and freewill in order to choose never to exist. And this is the chance you have been given on this earthly life
And trust me if you even had this chance in the preworld and had a slight knowledge of how Heaven is. You would have craved to live on earth and simply accept Jesus to go there
But remember all the pain and suffering you go through on this earth is for an experience of what good and bad really is.
And to seek God and have a relationship with Him
Remember He is not far from any of us.
