Why no Caryatid (and to a lesser extent, Rift Sower) when you're playing 7 Green sources and have ambitious mana requirements? Even if you're not maindecking it, it seems pretty good against White Weenie post board where it can block and they have Thalia to tax your mana. I think you shortcutted a little bit by cutting them because you're not mono-green, but Caryatid in particular does a lot of things that you were looking for here, and doesn't force you to alter your build in any way really, while giving you an extra source for all of your splash colors.
Reid is great, and this deck was okay, but I think he focused a little too much on the Eldrazi when he could’ve had a really good storm deck. He already had; High Tide, Mystical Tutor, Git Probe, Upheaval, and signets, then he passed Yawg Will, Dark Ritual, and Tendrils pack 2. Those with the Treachery, Tinker, and Bolas’ Citadel would’ve absolutely popped off.
he also could have easily gone into the artifact deck with mishra's workshop, tezzeret, both armageddons, almost every signet, thran dynamo, upheaval, tinker, battlsphere, kuldotha forgemaster, literally everything you could have ever wanted for that deck was there.
Reid once again solidifies the importance of patience and positivity during gameplay while subconsciously revealing his unreachable levels of focus and tenacity. My man.
Around 1:11:11 why didnt you "treachery" the bird? 1. No cryptic in upkeep, thus youd draw your cards. 2. Jace is pretty useless for your opponent for as long as you have CSphynx 3. Jace is not that good for yourself, like you mentioned 4. You could actually use the mana of BoP for your atarka
props to the last opponent for letting you use your mana drain mana
Hey Reid, I love that the screen is less poluted now. Thank you very much :)
Match 3 eureka was the nuttiest sequence I've seen with that card
I still remember Reid hardcasting *Progenitus* in Vintage Cube...
I know it may be hard to recall, but do you remember which video it was?
I remember when he did it in vintage elves thanks to birchlore

Great stuff! Love the crazy ‘go big or go home’ decks🤩
I like watching brilliant players draft this cube. Thanks, Reid.
This is the deck I want every time I Cube.
Ignites the Timmy in my soul
Is there any way to cut out some of the dead time?
I love Reid, but sometimes there's a lot of dead time, especially if his opponent is in the tank
I watch at 1.5 speed and hit the right arrow key constantly through downtime.
Can you instant speed reanimate emrukul before the shuffle trigger ?
Yeah

he won't draft storm unless he gets black lotus he said

Unclear why storm crow ⛈ 🦅 didn’t many the cut???
Match 3, game 1 Eureka moment!
I think the phrase you were looking for was "I did not think I was going to trophy with that pile."

Why was he debating between 17-18 lands while I was thinking more of 16-17? Explain please =D thanks
16-17 is average, but his deck had a very very high mana curve, so 18 lands is justifiable
Emry let's you loop the mindslaver. Why take it out?

Ah nevermind, you figured it out 1 sec after me writing this 😉
M3, game 1 is the essence of Vintage. OP thinks Kozilek is peachy to drop. Not so peachy…
Treachery on BoP
Note to self: Mana Drain is bugged in MODO, thanks
Who’s beeping their horn!
Eureka: Eat your heart out
29:20 - If you are scared of the the Treachery getting destroyed, then you could pay W/R in response to make the Figure a 2/2 again.
He didn't have the mana to do both on that turn.
Rotting Regisaur
Tinker with 3 artifacts seems pretty loose
feels a little weird calling this a hardcast, but alright.
Boom!! 1st 😝
