This is by far the best harmonica lesson on RUclips. The reason being that it combines the chugging and riffs into a whole melody, so that us new to playing the harmonica don't have to improvise between the chugging, because that is not our level yet. You deserve to know. Thank you! Your effort is much appreciated. Thus far I am on student grants meaning I don't have much to contribute at the moment but likes and a subscribe.
Wonderful lesson for a beginner. Although I've only been playing the harmonica for few weeks, I hope to aspire to play some blues in the months to come. I like the contrast and combination of chugging with the melody. I also appreciate the time you take to explain everything clearly, especially the rhythm of playing the notes, which is challenging for some of us. Thanks again for posting, and for your encouragement ;-)
I really enjoyed this Tomlin. The way you teach suits my style of learning perfectly. I appreciate the way you have the harp tabs and the music on screen, that really helps with the timing. Keep it up my friend.
This definitely helped my improve :D. I also learned how to bend the third note. i was struggling to have it done but I finally nailed it. Thank you SO much!
Tomlin excellent instruction as always. But can you tell us what the tempo should be for something like this, or maybe explain in another video how to tell what the tempo should be.
Hi. Im finding this very helpful and i want to play harmonica like ”a pro” and i wonder on lick 2 the ”3 halfstepbend” do you have anny tutorials for that?
I am self-taught, but a former bass player. I could have used these videos 18 years ago. These are actual music lessons. Other channel’s vids are “cool” and helpful but too much form over substance - hard to learn. Great balance here!!!!

Thanks by the way it seems you are using croosover harmonica . I hate that doubt it will be a successful harmonica in a long run.
hey can you make a tutorial of the harmonica solo in heaven nor hell from volbeat?:)
I want this so bad! great suggestion!
