- Hey friends, this wasn't part of the planned videos I was going to make but I've been praying and sitting with what happened and I felt the need to say a few words about what God wants us all to see in this shooting. My prayer for President Trump has always been that he would be raised up the man of God he was created to be. He has said things that are true, but his attitudes haven't always reflected a Christ-like heart. I pray that Saturday's experience will transform him and raise him up to a new level of servanthood, that he will be God's bondservant. Check out how a slave became a voluntary servant for life, Exodus 21:5&6. The covenant of voluntary servitude involved the piercing of the ear! 🤯
The main stream media is not worthy of our attention. It has been at least 40 years since I've paid them any mind. I'm not sure that I knew exactly why then, but I've Loved our Savior always and I'm pretty sure it was him that guided me to do so. Unfortunately there are many who just won't see it. Our pastor discussed anger yesterday in church and how it's considered a larval form of murder. With a little more thought, a little more care, a little more time, our charged, angry words and thoughts would absolutely grow into murder. But for God, in His mercy, we would all have hearts of stone and do these things - having an us versus them mentality and considering ourselves higher than we ought. This is a beautiful reminder that the Church should be a people, in moments like these, who show ourselves as a loving and prayerful, servant-hearted people. Across the world, across the aisle, no matter what policies you believe in or who you're voting for or if you're even able to vote. We have common ground founded in His blood and that's so much more than enough.

God wins. You have to remind many believers that God's word is tomorrow's news today.
I'm not American but I am a Christian, and I'm truly amazed at the things being said by many in America including American Christians - many are claiming that "God protected Trump", they are claiming it was divine.....Christians especially have to be careful when making claims like these.
Why?, because many other tyrannical political figures throughout history also have survived "assassinations" and the most notorious man in modern history that survived assassinations was Hitler. So, are these people implying that "God protects some good and bad political figures". If so, what is the qualification God requires by a nation to protect it's political figures, since the qualification can't be faith in God because Hitler was clearly not even a practicing Christian and the US has also had many other assassinations of it's leader some who had faith?.
Incidentally, Fidel Castro claims to have had over 600 assassination attempts on his life and there were over 40 attempts on Hitler's life.....were all these acts of protection by God, because it seems this is what many US Christians are claiming about Trump?
In making such claims these people seem to implicate God in all the of the atrocities of the Nazi's by keeping Hitler alive and also of all other tyrannical political figures that have survived an "assassination".
Biblically it teaches that God moves and acts according to His own will, are American Christians claiming God's divine intervention in American politics, if so why?
We are not going into dark times, we have been living in dark times the day sin came into the world and these days are going to get darker, it's already written. Repent and turn away from our evil and wicked ways. Be bless

I am so delighted to hear you say that we need to be careful about allowing an adversarial attitude between us as Christians and non-Christians. People are rarely if ever brought to Christ by being persuaded that they are wrong. You are right. This was what was in my mind when watching Steven Crowder, and man who claims Christ, call people on the left the enemy.
We war not against flesh and blood. It broke my heart to see such hate and anger from a man who publicly claim Christ and operate from a Christless conservatism.

At 2:30 am the morning after the shooting, I was awoken and given Habakkuk to read. I went to bed dreading what is coming in America thinking about all this. It explains what's happening in our country. Pray for all God's people to have spiritiual strength, courage, endurance and faith to get through all the hardships, struggles, persecutions and temptations to come. FAITH is extremely important right now.🥰
All God's people need to take responsibility for their own righteousness and salvation. The pulpit has been corrupted and we have been taught false doctrines in America and throughout the world, the sabbath day being one of them. I do not care about who is right or wrong. I care about the truth. The Fourth Commandment still stands today just as it did when God blessed and sancitified the seventh day of the week in Genesis 2:2-3. That had nothing at all to do with the Israelites or any covenant.
We only get one soul. Take care of yours.

What do you mean by “God’s people need to take responsibility for their salvation”? Salvation is a gift of God by faith. It is not something to be worked for. How can we “take responsibility” for something that was gifted to us and that we had no part in other than belief?

Regardless of how wicked it gets
On Sunday my family and I were discussing this. Tonight we sat down and read Chapter 5. Discussed our need to stand up on truth while seeing the world as Christ saw it. He gave it all for our one chance to be reconciled to him. Through testimony we can explain the one chance, we took, by asking, receiving and accepting Jesus Christ. We can persuade through our testimony his holy Spirit, protection and grace without a need to judge. I have middle school and highschool children. They worry how they might stand.
Thank you for this lesson it was very much needed.
2 Corinthians 5:16-18 was a big part of our Bible study yesterday ❤️ about a year ago I was teaching the kids at church 2 Corinthians 5:17 and God told me keep reading! And 18 hit so hard and I realized that God gave me a ministry! A ministry of reconciliation and restoration! To help build the kingdom by restoring His bride!❤🎉

I have been doing so much growing lately. My life is going in so many directions. I ran into a roadblock in my schooling and had to put a hold on it, but that doesn't mean I stopped studying. I keep researching things like my beliefs and keep letting myself grow as a person. People like you, Paul Harvey, our founding fathers, Gandhi. I have been seeing so many perspectives that make things in our modern world seem so strange, make sense, and also not at the same time. You would think because of all of this I would be scared, but out of everything even amongst the chaos, I never felt more comforted. For that I have God to thank.
Hey bother! hang in there, stay positive and keep asking God for insight. You will be fine. I am going all over the place too. However, as you grow. These things eat away at the very core of our being causing us to live in darkness and constant chaos. Causing harm to others isn't the answer. Let's keep on praying for our Nation and it's people. That's a big problem Nate. It is NOT just politics. There are a few close family members who cant even speak about politics with each other because their words turn into venom against each other. And I can see that they are following the media trend of how "opposite sides" refer to each other. It's so adversarial and begs conflict. It's wrong.
Oh my gosh, I have been wrestling with my response to a friend I've known for over 40 years because I have had so much anger in my heart. I've been wanting to prove her wrong and sway her from voting a certain way because she hates the other side.
It is not Christian the things I have thought, the things I have discussed with my husband about what I want to say. It's been 2 weeks and thank God I have listened to my broken heart and not responded.
I have to let go of what I can't control. God is in control and we have to come back to abide in Christ. There is still good in the world and like Nate said, the Lord is still on the throne.
It's worse yet when you ultimately agree with the person and are on the same side, and they _still_ refuse to talk politics or religion with you because they won't consider that they're going about them in the wrong way.

It's been absolutely insane to see just how callous people have become. In times like this, it's even important that we cling to God's steadfast love amidst a sea of hatred and anger. Even if the world is going insane around us, we must still strive to love those around us and seek the best for them. Fighting hatred with hatred will never work, only God and His compassion in us can break the cycle.

When i was a child my parents constantly emphasize that we were to be kind in word and deed no matter how you were treated. I have tried to teach my children an grand children this also, but it has saddened me because even they have picked up some of this rhetoric. God is gracious to every person whether they realize His goodness or not. He sends sunshine and rain. Romans says that "or do you think lightly of the riches of His kindness and tolerance and the patience, not knowing that the kindness of God leads you to repentence." When we let God truly live in and through us, then we need to react like He does. And our kindness might bring others to repentence and righteousness.

It’s frustrating that people I know are Christian who are worshiping Trump as an idol even saying we should have him as King and those who are cursing him with death. It’s frustrating that these people are blind to God for the world. We should want death nor create idols and worship man over God. I have major life damages from Trump administration, but rather choose my wrath, I submitted to Jesus and he saved me. I pray these people don’t hold on wrath and accept that Christ is the restorer and will handle all things.

I was a HUGE Trump fan since 2016 , I just started reading the Bible a month ago and began Bible studies . I left politics so I don’t really get affected by world news anymore . This is not Gods home for us , so yes things will happen. . I’ll be fine because I’m following Jesus as best I can .
“What has been will be again, what has been done will be done again; there is nothing new under the sun.” - Ecclesiastes 1:9
Now I understand vwhen the word of God said: in the last days the love of many will grow cold due to all the turmoil bgoing on.
The word translated as "love" here is "agape". Only true Christians have this love. Christ isn't talking about the world. He's talking about the love of God growing cold in God's own Church because of lawlessness. It's a prophecy about the Laodicean era. Daniel is told about this in ch. 8 of his book, and Paul prophesies the same thing in 2 Thess. 2:3-12 where he discusses the man of sin leading a rebellion against God from inside His Church.

You're right, unfortunately, we as christians dont always speak the truth in love, we may speak truth but too harshly at times. We have to remember when commenting on social media( and in real life) that we are to love our enemies and that a gentle answer turns away wrath. Whenever we feel angry, we need to take a deep breath and think before we respond about how jesus would respond. An angry and harsh answer only begets an angry and harsh response.

As a Christian there are 2 thoughts. 1. We are in the Last days a lot of prophecy is unfolding and we need to stay firm with God. 2. We need to continue to pray for the victims in this tragedy, their families, and even the shooters family. Same with any other tragedy because people do bad things when evil spirits operate. I view the person who attempted that act as someone who was oppressed by demons that controlled the move and unfortunately never came to Jesus. We can’t open any doors and we must stay firm in our relationship with Jesus❤

I struggle but have been trying to be better with hate and anger. I caught myself looking at the left as separate and hating a lot of what they stand for and the people that commit certain acts. I have had debates with people that was very vitriolic. I fell too far from God and Jesus and im trying to get back to the place where I am following again. Not judging others or wishing bad things on others among others. Im not where I want to be but Jesus will lead me there. Thank you for your videos. Your videos and a few others have sparked that fire in my heart and made me realize I was drifting away. Thank you.

I really appreciate your debate react videos, and I personally don't find that your adding to an adversarial ballon, or at least it doesn't have that kind of an effect on me.
You uphold Christ in your debate react videos, and point out how the people in the debate could respond to their interlocutor in a more Christ like way, and show us how to respond in such a way that will deflate any adversial like spirit/attitude that exists in the conversation. You help to promote people having discussions in debates in a Christ-like spirit and attitude, and in a right way, and I really appreciate that.
