Great vid! Best not leave the machine on wo the water supply running (now that the supply sensor is shorted on)! One other observation, I assume the pres fit for the drain box allows the hose to be easily disconnected? You'd need that in order to remove the box for easy cleaning.
Thank you so much for this wonderful video. Would you be able to provide the specs for the water pump and accumulator please? And do you know if that pump/accumulator combo would be compatible to the newest version of the LM? Thanks so much!
Hi there - Caffewerks has a similar system that will work: caffewerks.com/collections/water-pump-systems-and-parts/products/copy-of-caffewerks-medium-volume-system-complete-cart-components-1?variant=40208831217711. This will work for both later and newer versions of the Linea Mini.
I saw that, but their price is absolutely outrageous. Nearly $200 more expensive than the Shurflo systems I’ve found. I’d prefer to go with the ShurFlo system if it works with the newer model. Thanks so much
Isn't there a risk of galvanic corrosion having the steel braided line in contact with the copper pipe above the pump? Shouldn't this contact be avoided or shielded in some way?
I know the Linea Mini does not have any real pre-infusion, instead it is only pre wetting the puck for the set time of 1-2 seconds. Does installing the plumbing kit to the rotary pump also enable the possibility for real pre-infusion with water line pressure? In that scenario, changing/increasing the pre-infusion time in the app would actually make sense.
I hope someone can update us on this concern. The new app has the pre-infusion option, so i wonder if after plumbing kit is actually making a difference!!
Hi sir good afternoon We have a same machine model lamarzoco. We have a problem for our machine. Bar temperature and streaming pressure everything is correct but problem for the grouphead. I turn on the brewing but water is not come outside. So we need solution for your side.. Thank you have a great day
Hi Sergio, that's the Luminaire Auto Shot Timer. It's quite a simple addition for any machine with a three-way solenoid valve. You can see our overview video on this channel, and find the product listing here: prima-coffee.com/equipment/luminaire-coffee/shot-timer
Anyone who already tried to plumb in one of these machine will realise that it has never been designed to be plumbed in and they found a very very poor workaround for it. Any 1500$ machine nowadays has a simple connection below with a manual or solenoid 3 way valve allowing you to plumb it in...
Agreed. LM should have made this easier. Personally, I'd prefer a plumb-in only version. I've had mine for 6 days and the tank needs to be refilled way too often. I am finally plumbing it in today.
You made a good video, it wasn’t rush like other espresso machine dealer.
Great vid!

Hello, awesome video. What if I don't use an accumulator, only the pump? Wont the machine function without one? cheers
Yes, it will. But it will not maintain as much consistency in pressure.
Why would you set the brew pressure to 6 bars vs. the 9 bar setting?

@@abdulrahmanw749 I think with the newest software/firmware update, if you're plumbed in, you have pre-infusion?
Hi, where can I get the housing for that pump & accumulator?

Probably is the paddle switch. Call lamarzocco
Can you plumb in and still use the drain box?
Yes you can. You can leave the plug in the drain box instead of adding the drain hose.
does opening your machine void any warranty ?
Hi, what's this little display up on front at left?

What a construction! Italians 😂
Howmany I can make coffee a day , like 150 - 200 cups of coffee a day ?
Considering the pricepoint, the amount of work needed converting this is just rediculous.
Agreed. What a turn off. Should have been designed more plug and play to plumb in

did you say maintain warranty? This whole warranty is a joke.
Holy cow, all of this just to plumb? Lol😅
Those 7mm screws are a freaking pain. Worse design I've ever seen.
This is insanely complicated
