I'm happy you followed up with my request ! I have a 92 lx 2 dr, and im still in the making to make my ride nice. but overall I love your car. nice idea with the hood light I'd bet it helps a lot
60k sounds mint compared to my hunk of junk lol. This car has traveled. Originally sold in North Carolina, manufactured in Marysville Ohio. It made a maiden voyage to California where it spent about 18 years, the. It made a trek to Wisconsin where it remained stored during winter, and driven very little, and then another voyage down south to Oklahoma where it currently resides.
STILL LOVING YOUR RIDE... I PICKED UP THE KONI YELLOWS & EIBACH PRO SPRINGS FOR MY 92, A FEW MONTHS AGO... HAVE YET TO INSTALL THEM... I WAS CONSIDERING THE WINDOW VENTSHADES, BUT DIDN'T KNOW WHERE TO FIND THE OEM ONES, LIKE YOURS... I PREFER THE WAY THEY FIT IN THE WINDOW CHANNELS, INSTEAD OF BEING GLUED TO THE DOOR FRAME... YOU HAVE A NICE RIDE, AND A DEFINITE SLEEPER... LOL... I HAVE ALMOST 500k ON MY FACTORY ENGINE... IFFFFFF IT EVER DIES, I'M GONNA COME TO CALI, AND LET THE SAME FOLKS WHO DID YOUR SWAP, DO MINE... VERY NICE & NEAT WORK... THANKS FOR SHARING...
stillrumone I'm sure where you live, there are other people who can also install it too lol don't know if it's worth the hassle for you to bring it all the way here just to get it swapped
+Dao Vang QUALITY WORK ON HONDAS IS RARE IN ATLANTA... A LOT OF SHORTCUTS... A LOT OF SLOW COMPLETIONS... YOU RARELY GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR OUT HERE... YOUR WORK LOOKS A-1... SO, IT WOULD BE WORTH THE TRIP... plus, there are some lowrider folks i wanna holler at while i'm out there... lol...
Nice car. Who did your wiring harness modifications from a stock to H22 VTEC engine? Do you still have your Cruise Control components possibly to sell?
Supra Fahrer I did all the work. You use the factory harness, you add VTEC solenoid, VTEC oil pressure sensor, knock sensor And if your car did not come with secondary butterflies (IAB) you must add that directly to the ECU as well When I first did my swap, it was originally an automatic and everything worked. When I converted to manual, I couldn’t find the time to make the cruise control work, so I removed it and tossed it out
Hey man know this videos a couple years old. Figured I may as well ask anyway. What year and model is that aem short ram made for? I bought a 92-96 prelude Sri by injen and it wont clear the abs at all. Trying to find something that fits. I've got a 92 coupe with a jdm black top it it.
Gravelord Nito hey, I still have my car lol I bought the intake for the F22A It fits with a larger silicone coupler that’s a reducer. I bought the silicone coupler at autozone
CB7 PROJECT you have to go through B.A.R. bureau of automotive repair Google the number for closest station to you, set up appointment over the phone. your car must pass visual inspection and the smog test in order to be legal. if you do not pass, do not try to go underground smog because they will flag you and investigate. if you fail, you don't pay and the referee has to give you a list of what you need to fix. fix it, call schedule appointment and try again once you pass, it's $8.25 (may have gone up in price) before you go to B.A.R. make sure the swap was done without cutting and splicing any wires. it should have been plug and play, except wiring knock sensor and VTEC. if you have hacked up harness, the ref may automatically fail you. you cannot B.A.R. with chipped ECU it must be as stock as possible
CB7 PROJECT you have to use the USDM H22/H23 OBD1 upper intake manifold I replaced the catalytic converter to help lower the numbers to pass smog. everything else is listed on the link I gave you
Hello could you tell me what bracket did you use to mount the power steering pump I was told that the stock Accord pump and bracket will not work. I am thinking of doing this engine swap into my 91 Accord and want to keep the power steering.
bilsob1 I'm using an H23 power steering pump with a shaved down H23 power steering bracket and the H23 high pressure power steering line. The F22 bracket, pump and line WILL work but hill lightly hit the hood
Dao Vang thanks again for your quick reply you are very nice to answer peoples questions. I know I have asked many question on youtube and I don't always get any answers.
