What a fkin retarded design to have to remove the entire front bumper and the two lower lights just to get to removing a headlight assembly. Screwed the pooch on that one didn't ya Honda. I hate volvo, but at least you can pull the whole headlight housing by pulling 2 pins right at the top all nice and exposed.

The sound of this door chime is enough to trigger some sort of ptsd response and relive what it was like to get into my 32 year old shitbox accord. I still vividly remember the smell of cigarettes desperately masked by shitty car wash fragrance but it was never enough, the faint smell of weed mixed together with all of it. The way the door creaked as it opened and the sound of the fuel pump priming before I turned the key all the way, and oh god that belt squeak upon startup, a good 5-6 seconds of the most embarrassing noise to ever emit from a vehicle, and I had to live through it awkwardly looking and smiling at the people staring at my car as it announced to the world that it has come to life in the middle of a Walmart parking lot. I still remember the way the dashboard furiously blinked at me when I didn’t start it correctly, and then would refuse to start at all until the battery had been disconnected and reconnected after about 5 minutes.

Oh yeah, I forgot the Honda had a dingdong chime. My mom had a Mitsubishi and a Hyundai they had dingdong chimes instead of the beepers. I also remember on old Honda odyssey is that when you would leave the headlights on there was a mechanical bell that would sound.

Do you know if there is any hose between trans and engine? Like a cooler sistem? My radiator started to have trans oil.. I checked the engine oil but it wasn't that.. It looks red oil..

This is the video I was searching for to access the door switch mechanism. My 1992 Accord's two rear door switch doesn't lock and unlock completely. I'm guessing it needs some sort of grease lubricant? I noticed it only has that problem when the weather is cold.

The clip rotates clockwise off of the rod. Then the rod can be lifted. That prying motion, with the rod still snugly in the clip, nearly broke the clip. This video was poorly done.
