@@cherrysaurs yes it is because the transmissions are the same, except for the gearing itself. This method can be used from the 1990 through 2002 Honda Accord automatic.
abhishek singh if you do drain the converter, there is a special procedure that you must follow in order to get the fluid to the correct level. You cannot just simply just drain it all then pour in 6 1/2 quarts and drive You have to run the transmission through all of the gears and getting the torque converter to lock up so all the fluid travels through the whole casing If you are interested, I updated the description with a link to the procedure that I personally use in my vehicle and has proven effective as I was able to push 80,000 miles out of the transmission before replacing it with a lower mileage, imported transmission with LSD
Did you properly run through the gears to ensure fluid has traveled through the system to be at the full level? If there is no leaks the only other explanation is that the internal transmission cooler in the radiator has a leak and the fluids are going into the radiator and mixing with coolant If your coolant levels are also low, you have a bigger problem that’s consuming coolant and your transmission fluid
Thank you for this video, I have the same car and I'm having some problems.
Very nicely done. Side question. What motor did u swap into it
phillip rocero H22A out of a imported Accord or in USA, the Honda Prelude engine
Great video-thank you
That’s a good looking engine!
How long did it take to drain all out? Great video by the way
Just a few minutes like changing engine oil
If you cup your hand behind the dip stick, your camera will be able to focus better.
Laurie Henson I know right? I wasted so much video space and time on trying to focus lol
Where is the transmission fitler located?
is it the same for a 94?

Thank you excellent video
Why some do the pump method, like filling from the with a tube and a pump?? This way looks easier. Why??
Did that help you with your trans
pookie t.d.e sadly, it did not help with the problem
Dao Vang what happened
If we need to drain the converter how much oil is needed.
abhishek singh if you drain the converter, if memory serves me correct, it should be about 6 1/2 quarts

Did you try draining the torque converter
abhishek singh no I did not drain the torque converter
So if fluid is full and 2 days later complety empty wit no leaking. Where is it going?

What end up being? What code was it?
Thank you. Verry helpfull
Can you please link your aluminum radiator?
eBay, 2 row radiator. That’s what I had at that time
Did you have to order a separate transmission oil cooler in order for the radiator to work ?
@@TheKidAustin09 the one I purchased had a built in transmission cooler. It was made for the automatic
@@DaoVangCB7 ahh I see , thanks for the info. I can’t seem to find one anywhere. Only one I found is like $700 🤦🏼♂️ lol
