Uwajimaya Japanese food store in Seattle and Portland might have interesting canned fish but I haven't looked for it there yet but I hear in Japan they even have Tinned Fish bars with many tasty varieties to sample and nobody does fish like the Japanese. Lovely shows you make here!
omg i keep forgetting how awesome pike place market is, and that it's not just a tourist area. uwajimaya is also great for some tin fishing, they have good mackerel w soy sauce!
Best sardine for the $ is T.J.s $1.49 in water $1.99 for smoked in olive oil. I just bough 200 cans, i eat them everyday and everything is getting more expensive so i figure buy whatwver staples i can now.
I started watching just to see if any stores you went to were around me and then I was like this is Seattle!... They're all around me. The only place Ive been able to find the sea tales with chili is whole foods and that's one of my favorite tins. A quick trip into the city just for some chili dines is a bit of a stretch but it looks like there plenty of options so a quick trip could be well worth it.
oh my gosh, i wanna go shopping with you! that first market looked incredible!
I grew up in Renton and then Mercer Island. I used to go to Pikes Peak Market as a treat by my parents.
When you do your next tin fish haul, I'm sure we would all love to know prices of things :) so we can get an idea of what to expect
this is a great idea!

Did not know there are so many varieties of tinned fish a mere ferry ride away. Shall have to go hunting.
Pike Place. Not Pike’s.
Are you familiar with Big John’s PFI? You need to pop in to see all the yummy food.

Delaurenti is absolutely worth it! I love that sea tales tin. If you like that, try ABC+ in the big square box! They’re so good
We have nothing like this in San Diego..
Watched all this time and you didn't eat "ANYTHING" WTH???? Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
