It felt so good to make a theory video again, I think these are the most enjoyable videos for me to make haha. Also please let me know your opinions/theories for each character as well! To all of you, I think you guys should be proud! Voice acting can be difficult at times, and some people sometimes can't even do their job because they don't have the equipment or understanding of their items!
One thing I noticed with some of the characters is that they lost something/don't have something that's needed for their talent. The Ultimate Apprentice lost his memory (and apparently his talent), the Ultimate Angler lost an arm, the Ultimate Broadway Dancer lost her hearing, the Ultimate Local Hero loses her bravery when encountering her phobias, and the Ultimate Counselor (a.k.a. the monkey) loses his cool when there’s a murder. Why have several characters lost something that is kinda essential to their talents? Also the Ultimate Activist hasn’t really lost anything but considering she never found her cause.... She could just be a lost cause idk.
Quick thing about Kokorosaru’s name that I noticed; If read separately as Kokoro-saru, (心さる) it means heart-monkey or emotion-monkey, probably reflecting the part of him that doesn’t want to kill. If read together as Kokorosaru, it sounds like a corrupted version of saying ‘Korosaru’ which means ‘to kill’

I’m thinking that the ‘protagonist’ character might have created the monkey robot, which is why it dislikes people actively trying to murder each other. The fact that he’s the ultimate apprentice could mean that this game is meant to be an apprentice vs. mentor thing, with the former trying to show that people are more aligned to virtue rather than vice. The amnesia is meant to prove the apprentice’s point; as a blank slate, he will be more good than evil. EDIT: Also do the protagonist and teacher have the same eyes, or is it just me?
I have a hard time trusting any Danganronpa character related to the fashion industry, they tend to be wolves in sheep's clothing. **eyes Ultimate Tailor with suspicion**

It looks like it could be playable from the trailer. I'd be willing to wait if they have to figure some stuff out to make it work. We're still so early on, so who can really say?

I'm interested in seeing how Ikki and Momoe's relationship plays out, Since Momoe- cough "the Soaring Lass" seems like a concept from some sort of kid's show or a shounen manga. Like maybe Ikki looks up to the "heroic" Momoe, but then when she either caves due to one of her many fears or maybe even is a killer, Ikki feels betrayed and lost since his new idol doesn't fit his image of the capable hero or something. Kinda like his past reality has been ripped to shreds.

I agree with Weeby in that Hide Osako (Ultimate Theorist) seems to be the Kirigiri of the group. For that reason, however, I'm going to predict that she will be the first victim.
Honestly, if she does turn out to be a lot like Kirigiri, I kind of hope she turns out to be the first victim. Otherwise it'll kind of feel like a dynamic that's been done before and less interesting likely.
My prediction: - Hiroaki Uzuki: I believe just like you, the lack of memory can be related to mastermind. -Bussho Saji: Unlike you, I think it will represent vice disguised as virtue. Someone who seems to be all hugs, peace and love, but in reality is a killer. (Most of all for that little point of "wanting someone else to live like him", it sounds to me that he will be ignored, which will lead him closer and closer to vice.) - Chikuma Konishi: I like your interpretation. - Fan Fan Long: Shout for kilometers that she will be a victim; that description of "She will eat everything she has in front without pause" ... hummm - Hide Osako: I like your interpretation of a rival. Okay I'm writing this and watching video at the same time so if I repeat something, don't think I'm underdeveloped. When I saw the title I thought it will be just a mafia game with Danganronpa theme (Kill/Cure part, since in mafia there is a doctor and mafioso who kills people), but it looks just great, I hope Chunsoft will back this project up and maybe help them get more attention. And to the characters we go (I'll call them by their appearance) Ahoge boy - he will probably be a protagonist or main antagonist and then someone else gets an ahoge and his just falls down. Memory loss reminds me of Hajime but not quite. I like his talent very much, if I was a Danganronpa character or was to create one it would be something like this (I called it Ultimate Prodigy), because it will be easy to show the development of the character. I think he will survive as a protagonist or antagonist turned good (someone could do a great hope speech, showing him how much did everyone go through and everyone who lives is ready to forgive him, yada yada). Yoga boi - he looks very uninteresting for me. It's easy culprit claim here, probably someone will try to kill him and he will kill this person in self defense, slowly breaking his calm during the trial. Maybe something like Korekiyo, he was an unstable child, killing pets and his family in sleep, burning down the house, people thought that it was some arsonist, his execution might be great. He could be thrown into a dark corridor, gets totally broken with images of him and his family, tries to calm himself down with yoga but as he tries to do the pose, his arms and legs get cut off, leaving him to bleed out with a fear in his eyes. Also, there is 2 to 1 in secret serial killers surviving killing games, time to fix it (Maki and Genocider Sho to Peko) Big chest size best girl: this on the other hand is an interesting one. She might be someone like Angie, very proud of her talent despite it being not that interesting or useful in the situation they are. She is probably from a poor family, so we will get to know her better during free time events. She will die as a victim. Also if one of her coupons was vital evidence, it would be a nice touch, since it will show, her talent wasn't that useless. Subject girl - 99% victim. Since she took a lot of substances, she and also her body after death might react differently than usual which could make things harder for the protagonist, deter the suspicion onto the spotless. I think it will be fairly late death, at least 3rd trial since protagonist should get to know her better, maybe some of her behaviours from chapter 1 or even prologue will be needed during the trial. Glacial lass: If Kyoko and Byakuya had a child and given those two, she will live + I think someone will try to frame her during the first trial and she will make that someone look like an utter idiot, despite staying quiet all the time Fishy boi - That one is unclear for me, but he reminds me of Himiko, probably will be accused of some things, but will ultimately live. I just can't find any murderer or victim who could be replaced by him and it would be better for story. Maybe if jazz girl was killed he could be a culprit because the way he would do this would demand a lot of time in his condition to prepare and she has hearing problems so he would get it but meh, I would let him be a boring, maybe later decent survivor, someone like Yasuhiro or Himiko. Pawn star - Yasuhiro/Kaito type of character, he will always throw wrong statements and will be bullied by the glacial lass. He will probably die during a double murder and one of his retro gadgets will be a crucial evidence (because the killer might've leave it, not knowing it's important, maybe it could be a random piece of plastic tape that will be revealed by someone at the end as something not that interesting and it will be an audio tape that they just need to roll back and play, there could be recorded voice of a culprit, name or whatever. I see him being killed alongside subject girl, because it would further emphasise how much more useful is old technology, compared to her modified body that was more of a problem than help. Kyle boi - I agree, he is totally a kind of character that will be a first killer + it would match me prediciton of him trying to frame chilly girl, but gets totally destroyed with her deduction (she will probably call him, not only a dork, but many other words with her low silent voice). His execution will be just funny and bizarre. I see him getting put through a lot of punishment, similar to Junko's ultimate execution but in the end he will be smiling and standing like nothing happened. Except, he didn't even notice when he died, his smile is just a muscle getting squished and he suddenly gets dismembered from all those things, head rolling on the floor, still smiling. Miu but with a tan girl: there is a thing - in Danganronpa 1 and 3, culprits and their victims had pretty similar character (loud, quiet, caring etc.) and in 2 it is complete opposite - serious Byakuya killed by pervy at funny Teruteru, loud and open Mahiru killed by quiet Peko keeping her secrets away from others, Ibuki and Hiyoko who were both loud and confident killed by shy and quiet Mikan, straightforward Nekomaru killed by mysterious Gundam and... Well... Whatever Nagito is. I think this will be similar so I doubt she will be killed first. I would say she will be killed second, because after the first execution, everyone will be afraid of even attempting a murder and as she likes being active, she will try to manipulate people to fight each other despite Monkeykuma trying to stop it. Eventually someone will get mad at her and murder her (everyone will hate her for this so it will be hard to determine the motive). Super Spandex Girl: at first I thought she will die but I think she will make it out alive, Aoi/Sonia type of character, she will probably be buddy-buddy with a tsundere boy at the end Afro Girl - I see her as a murder, maybe she will take the double? Since she as an architect would have a lot of knowledge about new technologies so she will be able to use it to frame someone basing on Subject Girl's evidences but won't be able to understand how the tape works since she is just used to new stuff like tablets that she have never used anything old. I see her execution being a reference to excavator and maybe after school lesson? With a lot of heavy machines, she would be turned into a clean puddle of blood, no trace of bones or whatever. Tailorman - I don't see you in the trailer, dam-di-dam-di-dam... (maybe he was covered, but I totally didn't see him). He looks like a good first victim, also opposite to stuntman he is proud, cocky etc. and stunt boy is all about fun. Spandex girl mentioned something about material too. Teacher girl: either a Kokichi type of victim or someone linked with the mastermind (or both) but more like a puppet or a guardian angel. She might've been sent to protect protagonist/antagonist boy by the principal and will die this way. She also might be the person to control Monkeykuma. I think she will get killed right before the end (either Nagito style or Kokichi style) Tsundere boi - survives, he reminds me of Fuyuhiko a lot and Himiko a little. Pretty much it. Jazzy electro swing girl - I WANT HER TO LIVE BUT SHE WILL DIE OOOOOOH *sax solo* I refuse to call her victim, she will live in my book but will be accused multiple times because of her hearing problems. I would say she will be the Akane type of character just making it through on protagonist's back The Antisatan girl - for me she is a killer, I agree with her choosing place that would be safe for her (no doorknobs etc.) but she will use it as a double bluff. I wanna see her die sinking in filth with panic in her eyes :) Indian boi - he will probably be involved in the teacher's death in some way. To be honest, nobody in the whole Danganronpa series accepted a punishment without trial, just saying that he is a culprit (we don't count Kokichi this time). I would totally see him do this. For example, during investigation we would find evidences fabricated by a teacher to frame someone else, people watching will be sure that it is this or that person but NOPE. Indian boi acts as a gentleman and says he is guilty also explaining all teacher's tricks (she could have tried to manipulate him, telling him she would murder one of students if he won't agree on her terms but she wanted to sacrifice herself for everyone to die, living Indian boi totally broken but he ultimately betrays her). I think the perfect punishment for him would be an unused Kiyotaka's punishment. Since Monkeykuma was controlled by a teacher, it was still from the moment she died but starts moving as the punishment time comes. There is a parade, everyone aside Indian boy is standing confused in crowd when suddenly he gets shot, first with a pistol, then M4, then a swarm of bullets from M60 and finally a bazooka, tearing up his already dead body. It might be either protagonist or his mentor behind the scenes. So: 1. Stunt boy - killer, Tailorman - victim 2. Yoga boi - killer, Miu 2.0 - victim 3. Afro girl - killer, Pawn boy and Subject girl - victims 4. Antisatan girl - killer, best girl - victim 5. Indian boy - "killer", teacher - "victim" Survivors - main character, fishy boi, chilly girl, spandex girl, tsundere boy, electro swing jazz girl (she will die, she will die, she will die, don't get attached you idiot). I wanted to put my predicitons against Weeby's :D I'm big fan of Danganronpa myself but my content is focused on Pokemon so I prefer to share here than make my own video, especially since there is little Danganronpa fans in our country and probably it wouldn't reach the fandom :/

I was just thinking they are still in a killing game to get out, doesn't that mean that they do have a motive to kill, to get out of there. So even if the monkey tells them not to they *are* still forced into living somewhere the don't want to be.

‼️V3 SPOILERS‼️ I just noticed this, when Weeby said that the main character always has an ahoge. In V3 Kaede had an ahoge, but when she died and Shuichi took off his hat, he also had an ahoge, signifying that he's the new main character. Did you guys notice it too or am I just slow?
What if it is a virtual reality again like the second game and none died and it was all a simulation? Would make sense since the main guy like virtual reality
I think Shiori will be killed first, I do agree with your statement of her being sketchy and untrustworthy and I feel like that side might be shown to her killer forcing them to kill her out of fear. I think her killer will be Manzo and the entire case will involve some sort of elaborate way to escape the crime scene that only he could do, similar to Peko escaping the bathroom. But yeah I think Shiori’s role is starting the killing game and unfortunately Manzo was the victim of her manipulation. For the second case I feel like Toya will be killed and her killer will take advantage of her poor hearing in the murder. As for her killer I’m thinking Oniji, I’m not sure why as far as a motive but he gives me second trial vibes. Third trial I can see Yahto being killed because his character is seeking trust from others and someone may take advantage of that. Who I think will take advantage of it is Maru because she’s used to taking advantage of others for attention. Fourth trial gets a little messy. I can see it being a double murder with Momoe and Fan Fan being killed by Uta. This focuses a lot on her religion ocd. I feel like she’d be afraid and angered by Fan Fan seeing her as a demon spawn due to her appearance. Maybe Momoe will attempt to save Fan Fan but get murdered along with her. Fifth trial I see Ikki getting killed by Chikuma. No specific reason just a hunch I can see Hiroaki’s Dad being the mastermind attempting to train him for something I’m not sure what. But I agree with you on the fact that he may die similar to Sakura where it’s a sacrifice to end the killing game. Which would leave Bussho, Hide, Kunitaro, Naiomi and Shoto the ones who escape the killing game.
Hide Osako is my favorite so far. She has a aesthetically pleasing design. Not to mention, I can relate to her, because I do tend to be sometimes defensive about my opinions and theories. I also tend to sometimes be a perfectionist as well. Also, I like Secondary Girl Characters. Examples: Kaede, Kyoko, Chiaki, and maybe Hide. Also, I like some of the lines she says in the trailer. Ultimate Theorist Squad. Finally, If I were a Danganronpa Character, Hide Osako is as close as it gets. Edit: I hope that this project continues.
Your exploration of Uta Kawagichi just makes me think she might kill Fan Fan, because someone as sickly as her must not be very pure, in her mind. I also think Hide will die pretty quickly. I think we're supposed to believe she's going to be the Kirigiri-type character, only to be shocked when she ends up dead early on. I can see Naiomi taking that spot for the protag's main help/bud instead. (EDIT: On second thought... I feel like her talent of theorist plays into that. Honestly, I could see it being a fake talent... I have no suggestions for what her real talent would be, but theorist could definitely just be a cover for something.) I would love for the buff character to live, for once. But the whole thing about being moved by "sublime" things has me wondering if the buff character could end up being the Komaeda/Ouma of the killing game. ...I wouldn't really want that either because that will still lead to death, but... it would certainly be unexpected.

This is so cool. The seven deadly sins is the theme of a fangan concept I have. And I think envy could be Hide and it is because she envies her perfectionist parents or something. Just a theory
Here's where I think each of the characters stand: Kukurosaru: I would've given him a Jekyll and Hyde complex, someone that's very sweet and adorable when calm, when angry just make him R-rated Mr. Resetti. Hiroaki: Definitely main character, starts off as Ultimate ???, then by Chapter 6, his talent is Ultimate Apprentice, and he's the mastermind by association. Executes himself to allow the remaining survivors to leave the academy, taking Kukurosaru down with him. I could also see someone else being the mastermind and operator of Kukurosaru, maybe Maru. And she says that if they all want to get out, the only person who has the key to getting out is Hiroaki. He eventually learns that he doesn't have the key... he IS the key. Specifically his father made an electronic lock that can only be opened, should his son's heart stop beating. The vote in the end goes something like this: "Do the virtuous thing and allow Hiroaki to live and live the rest of your lives within the confines of the academy, or kill Hiroaki; the guy the other survivors have bonded with and agreed they'd all leave together, no matter the cost, just so you can sate your desire for escape, all in the name of vice." Despite pleas from the other survivors not to kill himself so they could all live. Hiroaki finally decides to kill himself, dragging Kukurosaru and Maru down with him. Much to the heartbreaking sadness of the other survivors, especially Hide; who had become more romantically involved with Hiroaki throughout the story. Kind of like the relationship between Makoto and Kyoko in the Danganronpa 3 anime. Bussho: See him as either a survivor or a victim. If he had to be killed off, I would say either Chapter 3 or 4 would be expected. Chikuma: I see her as a killer, maybe the Chapter 2 killer. It's also possible she COULD be a victim, but I don't see her surviving the whole series. Fan Fan: I get a victim vibe from her, I see her dying as a Chapter 3 victim. Hide: Definitely survivor. I can see her starting off as a Byakuya type of rival. But then by Chapter 2 or 3, she becomes more like a Kyoko/Maki type of character. Someone who's there for Hiroaki if he's in a tough spot. Ikki: I can see him as either a survivor or the Chapter 5 killer. He just strikes me as the buddy character of the series, kind of like Kaito. Plus, I think with his tendency to look past the obvious, he'll definitely be a constant presence in the class trials. Kunitaro: I honestly think he'll be a survivor. I just think it's gonna be like the case of Yasuhiro and Kazuichi, where there's at least one comic relief character that makes it to the end. Manzo: As much as I like him, I don't think he'll be a survivor. If anything, I think he's gonna be the first killer. Just like with Teruteru and Kaede, I think Manzo wants to prevent any sort of killing from happening, but ends up murdering someone in an attempt to save everyone. He then gets found out and executed as a result. Maru: I see her as a victim, I see hers being a Sayaka type of situation where she plans to murder someone, but that person murders her instead. I see her maybe being the Chapter 4 victim. But yeah, much like with Mikan and Miu, she's gonna be the fanservice character of this series. And much like how I said back in Hiroaki's predictions; I also see her being the mastermind. Simply due to how cutesy, and attention-seeking both she and Kukurosaru both act. Plus they both wear ribbons on their chests that are polar opposites of the other's colors. Momoe: I can see her getting the Chapter 3 killer treatment. Think about it, it would be a huge shock to the characters if it turned out as someone as virtuous as Momoe, would do something as evil as murder two people in the name of vice. Naiomi: I can see Naiomi surviving the whole ordeal. I think she'll last for a pretty long time, I also see her as being a Chapter 5 killer or victim. Oniji: I don't really trust him. If Junko and Tsumugi taught me anything, it's that everybody in the Danganronpa universe whose Ultimate talent revolves around fashion might actually be evil. Anyways, I see him as the Chapter 2 victim. I think he's too timid to be a killer, but I don't see him lasting very long. Shiori: I get a first victim vibe coming from her. Or be a similar Mukuro Ikusaba situation where she tries to stand up to Kukurosaru, but gets murdered by him as a result. I can see her playing into the overall plot as an associate to Hiroaki's father, and MIGHT have played some part in trapping the other students in the academy and erasing their memories. Shoko: I would RIOT if this guy turns out to be a killer or a victim. I think he's going to make it to the very end as a survivor. I can see him getting the Hiyoko character development that was cut short in DR2, where he's just a dick to everyone. After everyone accuses him of being the Chapter 2 killer, because the real killer manipulated the crime scene to frame him, that and because he's not a very pleasant character. Because the victim was someone Shoko actually tried to be friends with, Shoko decides he needs to change for the better, and wants to become a better person. Though he still does have a few angry outbursts at times. Also it must be required for Shoko to say that Chicken Nuggets line at least once in the entire series. Toya: I could see her as a survivor. But I also see her as a victim. I just think that her deficient hearing is going to play a part in one of the trials. On a different note, there's actually 17 participants in the killing game, (yes, I counted) There could be 1 chapter where it would repeat the Chapter 3 formula with the whole 2 victims, 1 killer schtick. Or there could be 7 chapters. I don't know. Uta: I don't see her surviving the whole series. I can see her being either a victim or a killer. But I think she'll be a killer, because I think I have a good idea of what her execution would be like. Yahto: I see him maybe being the Chapter 4 killer, but I also see him surviving, just because it'd be funny if there was a joke with someone saying: "Oh I thought for sure Yahto was going to die at this point." Simply because the big, muscular character usually doesn't make it past Chapter 4.
I'm interested to see the teacher... I doubt she will survive and I think it would be really interesting to have Her be the first killer. Who better to introduce the themes of vice over virtue than a teacher snapping and trying to sacrifice all her students to escape. Like she'll be really helpful and positive during the investigation Until you realize that she's most likely guilty

I have a scenario for a triple murder actually. One of the students kills to victims and sets everything up to pin the blame on another student. Then, in order to truly cover their crime, the blackened commits suicide. What I think would make it interesting is they figure out that none of the students that are alive could’ve possibly committed the murder (Including the student who looked like the super obvious killer), so they have to figure out which one of the victims did it. Due to the fact that the killer is also dead, I think it could set things up so it’s really hard to figure out the killer. They wouldn’t have testimony from the killer, and the killer being dead also means the blackened can’t confess to the crime. I don’t have any of the specific detail of how the crime would be payed out, but I think it makes for an interesting case. Most of the cases in Danganronpa relied on the students using contradictions the blackened stated themselves to solve the crime. The only exception to this was Sakura’s case, but that was only one victim committing suicide. Having three different victims makes it all that much harder, you’d have to figure out who killed who if no one else could’ve done it.
This sounds like it could be super interesting! My only question is why the killer would be willing to sacrifice their life to bring down this other student, but that aspect brings in a whole bunch of other interesting possibilities for that reason. Maybe the killer and framed had an argument where the killer ends up shunned by the group? The idea is super cool!

I could see a couple executions for Bussho and Uta, with Bussho's being his body forcefully broken down, like him being contorted into bone-breaking poses and stances with each time being more and more painful as he struggles to meet the demands, almost like something from It Follows, and Uta's being her trapped in a quarantine center wearing a hazmat suit, so she'd be feeling confident about her survival, until the center is breached and the suit's revealed to be faulty, with her death caused by a synthetic virus meant to symbolize the devil and make her feel like she was sent to Hell. There could also be a bit where she escapes through 6 doors that don't use knobs, like automatic and push-to-open ones, with the 7th door which leads to her escape opened via a doorknob, causing her to get pinned by whatever is chasing her, and/or maybe pulling a Kirumi where she overcomes her fear/pain and opens the door, only to realize it was a lie and spells certain death.

my favourite character is Shiori Nakagawa. Having a teacher as part of a killing game is super interesting to me as she seems to value her students possibly more than herself. I don’t think she’s evil or that she’ll die first but I do think her involvement with the academy will be important somehow. Her bio suggests that she’s something of a pushover which leads me to believe that she’s got a history of being manipulated or possibly even abused. I think she and Hide will have an interesting dynamic because of Shiori’s blind optimism and Hide’s contrasting cynical logic. Shiori has so much potential to me it would be such a disappointment to see her die early on.
Okay so 28:10 about the ocd thing I pretty much agree with what Weeby already said and I just wanted to add on to her point a little. As someone who has had similar issues with Ocd I personally find myself frustrated by the reactions of others who don't really know why I'm avoiding doing/touching something and when someone unknowingly triggers my anxiety even though they don't realise they've done anything as a usual person would not mind it, this could just be me personally but if it is something else others with ocd feel I could see Uta's reactions frustrating certain other characters and causing conflict between her and other members of the group. Ocd can also become more prominent in someone when facing a stressful event/ time (and is often first triggered by events like this as well) , I'm pretty sure a killing game is something most people would consider stressful and over time Uta could possibly kill as a bid to get out of the situation causing her to feel worse than she already does. They're is also the possibility she isn't aware what she thinks is 'illogical' which I think is plausible considering how she's described here, in this case I could see her becoming a killer or a very easy victim. It also seems religion comes into play however I don't really know much about how this would coincide except from the suggestions in the video. I have some other things to say about the Psychology behind ocd not necessarily related to Uta's character but considering Weeby plausibly already knows and ignploges anything I could say I don't see much point mentioning those points here 😅, if anyone is curious though I'd be happy to go into more depth. (Also obviously I'm just speculating so I could easily be completely off with how this would effect Uta.)

I’ve always wanted to create an ultimate scientist for some reason. Like, he is self-conscious about many things and is afraid of failing experiments. If he was a killer, it would probably be on accident or he just wanted to die and be executed already. His execution would be him being dissected like a frog or being burnt in sulphuric acids or chemicals. He’s very pessimistic and really couldn’t care less if he dies or survives during the killing game. He isolates himself from lots of people because he’s aware of the many things humans can do, he hates society. He has slight burns on his arms from failed experiments. He would probably fall for an optimistic, happy and bright character and would really be broken if he/she was murdered and would tell himself that he should’ve been the one to die. But if he was murdered, he could have been killed by a trustworthy character because he was an easy target. He’s struggled with people judging him easily. The only thing desperate to get him to kill someone to try and get out of the academy would be if the mastermind tempted him to kill for his mother. His mother is all he has left so he would do anything to get out just for her, even though he doesn’t want to kill. But he is rather patient and could wait until he stays as a survivor or gets killed. That’s just a character I want to make. I should get him into another Danganronpa fan made if possible.

I feel like I agree with most of these, except some like... I hesitate between the teacher being the mastermind/killer as you claim, or her pulling out a Chisa, and by that I mean being the first victim (so the students don't have a figure of autority to rely to) but also being the mastermind at the same time. I also believe that a fan favourite character or a character that will be hyped up will be killed first, like Hide or the tailor. For the protag, I also believe he will die. I'd find it interesting if he was the chapter 5's victim, then we would switch out to a character with a hat on (we need the ahoge to live). Also I'd like to have a situation with a double killer trial, kinda like the one from another fanmade game. This sounds really interesting, I really love the idea of breaking the original DR format as well.

She seems like a really interesting character and the fact that she feels insecure and useless at times makes me feel connected with her as if she was like a real being, she really gives me the vibe of an actual human. T1: Victim = Shiori Nakagawa, Killer = Manzo Shibue Like you said, i think Manzo fits the bill for the first murder. Either his talent or personality makes mr think so. Shiori sounds like she's gonna be a fodder character for the first trial, as she is the teacher and really doesn't fit in. I could see their positions being swapped, but i can't imagine them surviving past c1. T2: Victim = Ikki Namiki, Victim = Toya Imamura, Killer = Uta Kawagichi. Uta's phobias makes me think they might be a facade. She definitely strikes me as to being one of the Vices. Ikki's disability (only having one arm) could really play into Ikki's door knob phobia for a murder plan. Then there's Toya's hearing problem. And this might be the perfect time to start fucking with the old danganronpa pattern by having an early double murder. T3 : Victim = Oniji Itagaki, Killer = Bussho Saji. How they could still not stray away from the pattern (to still make the game feel like a danganronpa game) is by taking the reserved character, in this case Bussho... And make him go absolutely nuts. Celeste, Mikan and Kiyo definitely have this going for them. Another thing in the pattern is, how one victim is always someones rival and the other is very close with another character. Oniji could definitely be both here, by rivaling Oniji and being close with Chikuma Konishi. T4: Victim = Momoe Soga , Killer = Chikuma Konishi. Yahta doesn't per se have to die in the fourth trial, Momoe seems like a character that could be the fourth trial's dying hero. Outside of this, i really don't have alot of good trial 4 theories. Simply because they are usually very similar in plot, but it's stuff like the setting and some kinda monokuma fuckery that you can't predict. T5: Victim = Fan Fan Long (SUICIDE) Victim =, Maru Yokokume, Killer = Kunitaro Higa So i think this could be interesting, not only having a second double murder... But also not having a murderer becoming executed nor let free. In my theory, Fan Fan commitas cauicide before Higa kills Maru, i can however only see this happening if Higa killing Maru is justified. The execution would be the incineration of Fan Fan's corpse. T6: Mastermind = Hiroaki Uzuki. The only way a mastermind being one of the remaining character would work... Is if that character was the best boy/girl...OR if it was the main protagonist, and the previous best boy/girl would then be the main character. Survivors: Hide Osako, Kunitaro Higo, Naiomi Danjuma, Yahta Stonecrown and Shoko Otoki.
He left the team because of mental health reasons. Although it will continue, it’s just on hiatus cause of the sudden departure. Plus they also have adjust to the changes. But again, it will continue on.

One thing I noticed with some of the characters is that they lost something/don't have something that's needed for their talent. The Ultimate Apprentice lost his memory (and apparently his talent), the Ultimate Angler lost an arm, the Ultimate Broadway Dancer lost her hearing, the Ultimate Local Hero loses her bravery when encountering her phobias, and the Ultimate Counselor (a.k.a. the monkey) loses his cool when there’s a murder. Why have several characters lost something that is kinda essential to their talents? Also the Ultimate Activist hasn’t really lost anything but considering she never found her cause.... She could just be a lost cause idk.

I’m thinking that the ‘protagonist’ character might have created the monkey robot, which is why it dislikes people actively trying to murder each other. The fact that he’s the ultimate apprentice could mean that this game is meant to be an apprentice vs. mentor thing, with the former trying to show that people are more aligned to virtue rather than vice. The amnesia is meant to prove the apprentice’s point; as a blank slate, he will be more good than evil.
EDIT: Also do the protagonist and teacher have the same eyes, or is it just me?

I'm interested in seeing how Ikki and Momoe's relationship plays out, Since Momoe- cough "the Soaring Lass" seems like a concept from some sort of kid's show or a shounen manga. Like maybe Ikki looks up to the "heroic" Momoe, but then when she either caves due to one of her many fears or maybe even is a killer, Ikki feels betrayed and lost since his new idol doesn't fit his image of the capable hero or something. Kinda like his past reality has been ripped to shreds.

(Most of all for that little point of "wanting someone else to live like him", it sounds to me that he will be ignored, which will lead him closer and closer to vice.)
- Chikuma Konishi: I like your interpretation.
- Fan Fan Long: Shout for kilometers that she will be a victim; that description of "She will eat everything she has in front without pause" ... hummm

Okay I'm writing this and watching video at the same time so if I repeat something, don't think I'm underdeveloped.
When I saw the title I thought it will be just a mafia game with Danganronpa theme (Kill/Cure part, since in mafia there is a doctor and mafioso who kills people), but it looks just great, I hope Chunsoft will back this project up and maybe help them get more attention.
And to the characters we go (I'll call them by their appearance)
Ahoge boy - he will probably be a protagonist or main antagonist and then someone else gets an ahoge and his just falls down. Memory loss reminds me of Hajime but not quite. I like his talent very much, if I was a Danganronpa character or was to create one it would be something like this (I called it Ultimate Prodigy), because it will be easy to show the development of the character. I think he will survive as a protagonist or antagonist turned good (someone could do a great hope speech, showing him how much did everyone go through and everyone who lives is ready to forgive him, yada yada).
Yoga boi - he looks very uninteresting for me. It's easy culprit claim here, probably someone will try to kill him and he will kill this person in self defense, slowly breaking his calm during the trial. Maybe something like Korekiyo, he was an unstable child, killing pets and his family in sleep, burning down the house, people thought that it was some arsonist, his execution might be great. He could be thrown into a dark corridor, gets totally broken with images of him and his family, tries to calm himself down with yoga but as he tries to do the pose, his arms and legs get cut off, leaving him to bleed out with a fear in his eyes. Also, there is 2 to 1 in secret serial killers surviving killing games, time to fix it (Maki and Genocider Sho to Peko)
Big chest size best girl: this on the other hand is an interesting one. She might be someone like Angie, very proud of her talent despite it being not that interesting or useful in the situation they are. She is probably from a poor family, so we will get to know her better during free time events. She will die as a victim. Also if one of her coupons was vital evidence, it would be a nice touch, since it will show, her talent wasn't that useless.
Subject girl - 99% victim. Since she took a lot of substances, she and also her body after death might react differently than usual which could make things harder for the protagonist, deter the suspicion onto the spotless. I think it will be fairly late death, at least 3rd trial since protagonist should get to know her better, maybe some of her behaviours from chapter 1 or even prologue will be needed during the trial.
Glacial lass: If Kyoko and Byakuya had a child and given those two, she will live + I think someone will try to frame her during the first trial and she will make that someone look like an utter idiot, despite staying quiet all the time
Fishy boi - That one is unclear for me, but he reminds me of Himiko, probably will be accused of some things, but will ultimately live. I just can't find any murderer or victim who could be replaced by him and it would be better for story. Maybe if jazz girl was killed he could be a culprit because the way he would do this would demand a lot of time in his condition to prepare and she has hearing problems so he would get it but meh, I would let him be a boring, maybe later decent survivor, someone like Yasuhiro or Himiko.
Pawn star - Yasuhiro/Kaito type of character, he will always throw wrong statements and will be bullied by the glacial lass. He will probably die during a double murder and one of his retro gadgets will be a crucial evidence (because the killer might've leave it, not knowing it's important, maybe it could be a random piece of plastic tape that will be revealed by someone at the end as something not that interesting and it will be an audio tape that they just need to roll back and play, there could be recorded voice of a culprit, name or whatever. I see him being killed alongside subject girl, because it would further emphasise how much more useful is old technology, compared to her modified body that was more of a problem than help.
Kyle boi - I agree, he is totally a kind of character that will be a first killer + it would match me prediciton of him trying to frame chilly girl, but gets totally destroyed with her deduction (she will probably call him, not only a dork, but many other words with her low silent voice). His execution will be just funny and bizarre. I see him getting put through a lot of punishment, similar to Junko's ultimate execution but in the end he will be smiling and standing like nothing happened. Except, he didn't even notice when he died, his smile is just a muscle getting squished and he suddenly gets dismembered from all those things, head rolling on the floor, still smiling.
Miu but with a tan girl: there is a thing - in Danganronpa 1 and 3, culprits and their victims had pretty similar character (loud, quiet, caring etc.) and in 2 it is complete opposite - serious Byakuya killed by pervy at funny Teruteru, loud and open Mahiru killed by quiet Peko keeping her secrets away from others, Ibuki and Hiyoko who were both loud and confident killed by shy and quiet Mikan, straightforward Nekomaru killed by mysterious Gundam and... Well... Whatever Nagito is. I think this will be similar so I doubt she will be killed first. I would say she will be killed second, because after the first execution, everyone will be afraid of even attempting a murder and as she likes being active, she will try to manipulate people to fight each other despite Monkeykuma trying to stop it. Eventually someone will get mad at her and murder her (everyone will hate her for this so it will be hard to determine the motive).
Super Spandex Girl: at first I thought she will die but I think she will make it out alive, Aoi/Sonia type of character, she will probably be buddy-buddy with a tsundere boy at the end
Afro Girl - I see her as a murder, maybe she will take the double? Since she as an architect would have a lot of knowledge about new technologies so she will be able to use it to frame someone basing on Subject Girl's evidences but won't be able to understand how the tape works since she is just used to new stuff like tablets that she have never used anything old. I see her execution being a reference to excavator and maybe after school lesson? With a lot of heavy machines, she would be turned into a clean puddle of blood, no trace of bones or whatever.
Tailorman - I don't see you in the trailer, dam-di-dam-di-dam... (maybe he was covered, but I totally didn't see him). He looks like a good first victim, also opposite to stuntman he is proud, cocky etc. and stunt boy is all about fun. Spandex girl mentioned something about material too.
Teacher girl: either a Kokichi type of victim or someone linked with the mastermind (or both) but more like a puppet or a guardian angel. She might've been sent to protect protagonist/antagonist boy by the principal and will die this way. She also might be the person to control Monkeykuma. I think she will get killed right before the end (either Nagito style or Kokichi style)
Tsundere boi - survives, he reminds me of Fuyuhiko a lot and Himiko a little. Pretty much it.
Jazzy electro swing girl - I WANT HER TO LIVE BUT SHE WILL DIE OOOOOOH *sax solo* I refuse to call her victim, she will live in my book but will be accused multiple times because of her hearing problems. I would say she will be the Akane type of character just making it through on protagonist's back
The Antisatan girl - for me she is a killer, I agree with her choosing place that would be safe for her (no doorknobs etc.) but she will use it as a double bluff. I wanna see her die sinking in filth with panic in her eyes :)
Indian boi - he will probably be involved in the teacher's death in some way. To be honest, nobody in the whole Danganronpa series accepted a punishment without trial, just saying that he is a culprit (we don't count Kokichi this time). I would totally see him do this. For example, during investigation we would find evidences fabricated by a teacher to frame someone else, people watching will be sure that it is this or that person but NOPE. Indian boi acts as a gentleman and says he is guilty also explaining all teacher's tricks (she could have tried to manipulate him, telling him she would murder one of students if he won't agree on her terms but she wanted to sacrifice herself for everyone to die, living Indian boi totally broken but he ultimately betrays her). I think the perfect punishment for him would be an unused Kiyotaka's punishment. Since Monkeykuma was controlled by a teacher, it was still from the moment she died but starts moving as the punishment time comes. There is a parade, everyone aside Indian boy is standing confused in crowd when suddenly he gets shot, first with a pistol, then M4, then a swarm of bullets from M60 and finally a bazooka, tearing up his already dead body. It might be either protagonist or his mentor behind the scenes.

I think Shiori will be killed first, I do agree with your statement of her being sketchy and untrustworthy and I feel like that side might be shown to her killer forcing them to kill her out of fear. I think her killer will be Manzo and the entire case will involve some sort of elaborate way to escape the crime scene that only he could do, similar to Peko escaping the bathroom. But yeah I think Shiori’s role is starting the killing game and unfortunately Manzo was the victim of her manipulation.
For the second case I feel like Toya will be killed and her killer will take advantage of her poor hearing in the murder. As for her killer I’m thinking Oniji, I’m not sure why as far as a motive but he gives me second trial vibes.
Third trial I can see Yahto being killed because his character is seeking trust from others and someone may take advantage of that. Who I think will take advantage of it is Maru because she’s used to taking advantage of others for attention.
Fourth trial gets a little messy. I can see it being a double murder with Momoe and Fan Fan being killed by Uta. This focuses a lot on her religion ocd. I feel like she’d be afraid and angered by Fan Fan seeing her as a demon spawn due to her appearance. Maybe Momoe will attempt to save Fan Fan but get murdered along with her.
Fifth trial I see Ikki getting killed by Chikuma. No specific reason just a hunch
I can see Hiroaki’s Dad being the mastermind attempting to train him for something I’m not sure what. But I agree with you on the fact that he may die similar to Sakura where it’s a sacrifice to end the killing game.
Which would leave
Bussho, Hide, Kunitaro, Naiomi and Shoto the ones who escape the killing game.
Finally, I'm not the only one who think that Hiroaki's father is the mastermind!
Hide Osako is my favorite so far. She has a aesthetically pleasing design. Not to mention, I can relate to her, because I do tend to be sometimes defensive about my opinions and theories. I also tend to sometimes be a perfectionist as well.
Also, I like Secondary Girl Characters. Examples: Kaede, Kyoko, Chiaki, and maybe Hide. Also, I like some of the lines she says in the trailer. Ultimate Theorist Squad.
Finally, If I were a Danganronpa Character, Hide Osako is as close as it gets.

Your exploration of Uta Kawagichi just makes me think she might kill Fan Fan, because someone as sickly as her must not be very pure, in her mind.
I also think Hide will die pretty quickly. I think we're supposed to believe she's going to be the Kirigiri-type character, only to be shocked when she ends up dead early on. I can see Naiomi taking that spot for the protag's main help/bud instead. (EDIT: On second thought... I feel like her talent of theorist plays into that. Honestly, I could see it being a fake talent... I have no suggestions for what her real talent would be, but theorist could definitely just be a cover for something.)
I would love for the buff character to live, for once. But the whole thing about being moved by "sublime" things has me wondering if the buff character could end up being the Komaeda/Ouma of the killing game. ...I wouldn't really want that either because that will still lead to death, but... it would certainly be unexpected.

Here's where I think each of the characters stand:
Kukurosaru: I would've given him a Jekyll and Hyde complex, someone that's very sweet and adorable when calm, when angry just make him R-rated Mr. Resetti.
Hiroaki: Definitely main character, starts off as Ultimate ???, then by Chapter 6, his talent is Ultimate Apprentice, and he's the mastermind by association. Executes himself to allow the remaining survivors to leave the academy, taking Kukurosaru down with him. I could also see someone else being the mastermind and operator of Kukurosaru, maybe Maru. And she says that if they all want to get out, the only person who has the key to getting out is Hiroaki. He eventually learns that he doesn't have the key... he IS the key. Specifically his father made an electronic lock that can only be opened, should his son's heart stop beating. The vote in the end goes something like this: "Do the virtuous thing and allow Hiroaki to live and live the rest of your lives within the confines of the academy, or kill Hiroaki; the guy the other survivors have bonded with and agreed they'd all leave together, no matter the cost, just so you can sate your desire for escape, all in the name of vice." Despite pleas from the other survivors not to kill himself so they could all live. Hiroaki finally decides to kill himself, dragging Kukurosaru and Maru down with him. Much to the heartbreaking sadness of the other survivors, especially Hide; who had become more romantically involved with Hiroaki throughout the story. Kind of like the relationship between Makoto and Kyoko in the Danganronpa 3 anime.
Bussho: See him as either a survivor or a victim. If he had to be killed off, I would say either Chapter 3 or 4 would be expected.
Chikuma: I see her as a killer, maybe the Chapter 2 killer. It's also possible she COULD be a victim, but I don't see her surviving the whole series.
Fan Fan: I get a victim vibe from her, I see her dying as a Chapter 3 victim.
Hide: Definitely survivor. I can see her starting off as a Byakuya type of rival. But then by Chapter 2 or 3, she becomes more like a Kyoko/Maki type of character. Someone who's there for Hiroaki if he's in a tough spot.
Ikki: I can see him as either a survivor or the Chapter 5 killer. He just strikes me as the buddy character of the series, kind of like Kaito. Plus, I think with his tendency to look past the obvious, he'll definitely be a constant presence in the class trials.
Kunitaro: I honestly think he'll be a survivor. I just think it's gonna be like the case of Yasuhiro and Kazuichi, where there's at least one comic relief character that makes it to the end.
Manzo: As much as I like him, I don't think he'll be a survivor. If anything, I think he's gonna be the first killer. Just like with Teruteru and Kaede, I think Manzo wants to prevent any sort of killing from happening, but ends up murdering someone in an attempt to save everyone. He then gets found out and executed as a result.
Maru: I see her as a victim, I see hers being a Sayaka type of situation where she plans to murder someone, but that person murders her instead. I see her maybe being the Chapter 4 victim. But yeah, much like with Mikan and Miu, she's gonna be the fanservice character of this series. And much like how I said back in Hiroaki's predictions; I also see her being the mastermind. Simply due to how cutesy, and attention-seeking both she and Kukurosaru both act. Plus they both wear ribbons on their chests that are polar opposites of the other's colors.
Momoe: I can see her getting the Chapter 3 killer treatment. Think about it, it would be a huge shock to the characters if it turned out as someone as virtuous as Momoe, would do something as evil as murder two people in the name of vice.
Naiomi: I can see Naiomi surviving the whole ordeal. I think she'll last for a pretty long time, I also see her as being a Chapter 5 killer or victim.
Oniji: I don't really trust him. If Junko and Tsumugi taught me anything, it's that everybody in the Danganronpa universe whose Ultimate talent revolves around fashion might actually be evil. Anyways, I see him as the Chapter 2 victim. I think he's too timid to be a killer, but I don't see him lasting very long.
Shiori: I get a first victim vibe coming from her. Or be a similar Mukuro Ikusaba situation where she tries to stand up to Kukurosaru, but gets murdered by him as a result. I can see her playing into the overall plot as an associate to Hiroaki's father, and MIGHT have played some part in trapping the other students in the academy and erasing their memories.
Shoko: I would RIOT if this guy turns out to be a killer or a victim. I think he's going to make it to the very end as a survivor. I can see him getting the Hiyoko character development that was cut short in DR2, where he's just a dick to everyone. After everyone accuses him of being the Chapter 2 killer, because the real killer manipulated the crime scene to frame him, that and because he's not a very pleasant character. Because the victim was someone Shoko actually tried to be friends with, Shoko decides he needs to change for the better, and wants to become a better person. Though he still does have a few angry outbursts at times. Also it must be required for Shoko to say that Chicken Nuggets line at least once in the entire series.
Toya: I could see her as a survivor. But I also see her as a victim. I just think that her deficient hearing is going to play a part in one of the trials. On a different note, there's actually 17 participants in the killing game, (yes, I counted) There could be 1 chapter where it would repeat the Chapter 3 formula with the whole 2 victims, 1 killer schtick. Or there could be 7 chapters. I don't know.
Uta: I don't see her surviving the whole series. I can see her being either a victim or a killer. But I think she'll be a killer, because I think I have a good idea of what her execution would be like.
Yahto: I see him maybe being the Chapter 4 killer, but I also see him surviving, just because it'd be funny if there was a joke with someone saying: "Oh I thought for sure Yahto was going to die at this point." Simply because the big, muscular character usually doesn't make it past Chapter 4.
I just realized Miu Iruma is a play on the words “Me, You, My room-a”. That explains why she is..well you know.

Who better to introduce the themes of vice over virtue than a teacher snapping and trying to sacrifice all her students to escape. I have a scenario for a triple murder actually. One of the students kills to victims and sets everything up to pin the blame on another student. Then, in order to truly cover their crime, the blackened commits suicide. What I think would make it interesting is they figure out that none of the students that are alive could’ve possibly committed the murder (Including the student who looked like the super obvious killer), so they have to figure out which one of the victims did it. Due to the fact that the killer is also dead, I think it could set things up so it’s really hard to figure out the killer. They wouldn’t have testimony from the killer, and the killer being dead also means the blackened can’t confess to the crime. I don’t have any of the specific detail of how the crime would be payed out, but I think it makes for an interesting case. Most of the cases in Danganronpa relied on the students using contradictions the blackened stated themselves to solve the crime. The only exception to this was Sakura’s case, but that was only one victim committing suicide. Having three different victims makes it all that much harder, you’d have to figure out who killed who if no one else could’ve done it.
This sounds like it could be super interesting! My only question is why the killer would be willing to sacrifice their life to bring down this other student, but that aspect brings in a whole bunch of other interesting possibilities for that reason. Maybe the killer and framed had an argument where the killer ends up shunned by the group? The idea is super cool!
Though it does open up the slight problem that Sakura also had that well you can't Execute a dead blackened.
Dunno Jessie W, but I think the motive could be an extreme resent towards their framing target, and that they wanted them to feel a lot of pain.

I could see a couple executions for Bussho and Uta, with Bussho's being his body forcefully broken down, like him being contorted into bone-breaking poses and stances with each time being more and more painful as he struggles to meet the demands, almost like something from It Follows, and Uta's being her trapped in a quarantine center wearing a hazmat suit, so she'd be feeling confident about her survival, until the center is breached and the suit's revealed to be faulty, with her death caused by a synthetic virus meant to symbolize the devil and make her feel like she was sent to Hell. There could also be a bit where she escapes through 6 doors that don't use knobs, like automatic and push-to-open ones, with the 7th door which leads to her escape opened via a doorknob, causing her to get pinned by whatever is chasing her, and/or maybe pulling a Kirumi where she overcomes her fear/pain and opens the door, only to realize it was a lie and spells certain death.
And of course, what does that make Monokuma? Chopped liver?

my favourite character is Shiori Nakagawa. Having a teacher as part of a killing game is super interesting to me as she seems to value her students possibly more than herself. I don’t think she’s evil or that she’ll die first but I do think her involvement with the academy will be important somehow. Her bio suggests that she’s something of a pushover which leads me to believe that she’s got a history of being manipulated or possibly even abused. I think she and Hide will have an interesting dynamic because of Shiori’s blind optimism and Hide’s contrasting cynical logic. Shiori has so much potential to me it would be such a disappointment to see her die early on.
Okay so 28:10 about the ocd thing I pretty much agree with what Weeby already said and I just wanted to add on to her point a little. As someone who has had similar issues with Ocd I personally find myself frustrated by the reactions of others who don't really know why I'm avoiding doing/touching something and when someone unknowingly triggers my anxiety even though they don't realise they've done anything as a usual person would not mind it, this could just be me personally but if it is something else others with ocd feel I could see Uta's reactions frustrating certain other characters and causing conflict between her and other members of the group. Ocd can also become more prominent in someone when facing a stressful event/ time (and is often first triggered by events like this as well) , I'm pretty sure a killing game is something most people would consider stressful and over time Uta could possibly kill as a bid to get out of the situation causing her to feel worse than she already does. They're is also the possibility she isn't aware what she thinks is 'illogical' which I think is plausible considering how she's described here, in this case I could see her becoming a killer or a very easy victim. It also seems religion comes into play however I don't really know much about how this would coincide except from the suggestions in the video. I have some other things to say about the Psychology behind ocd not necessarily related to Uta's character but considering Weeby plausibly already knows and ignploges anything I could say I don't see much point mentioning those points here 😅, if anyone is curious though I'd be happy to go into more depth. (Also obviously I'm just speculating so I could easily be completely off with how this would effect Uta.)

I’ve always wanted to create an ultimate scientist for some reason. Like, he is self-conscious about many things and is afraid of failing experiments. If he was a killer, it would probably be on accident or he just wanted to die and be executed already. His execution would be him being dissected like a frog or being burnt in sulphuric acids or chemicals. He’s very pessimistic and really couldn’t care less if he dies or survives during the killing game. He isolates himself from lots of people because he’s aware of the many things humans can do, he hates society. He has slight burns on his arms from failed experiments. He would probably fall for an optimistic, happy and bright character and would really be broken if he/she was murdered and would tell himself that he should’ve been the one to die. But if he was murdered, he could have been killed by a trustworthy character because he was an easy target. He’s struggled with people judging him easily. The only thing desperate to get him to kill someone to try and get out of the academy would be if the mastermind tempted him to kill for his mother. His mother is all he has left so he would do anything to get out just for her, even though he doesn’t want to kill. But he is rather patient and could wait until he stays as a survivor or gets killed. That’s just a character I want to make. I should get him into another Danganronpa fan made if possible.

I feel like I agree with most of these, except some like...
I hesitate between the teacher being the mastermind/killer as you claim, or her pulling out a Chisa, and by that I mean being the first victim (so the students don't have a figure of autority to rely to) but also being the mastermind at the same time.
I also believe that a fan favourite character or a character that will be hyped up will be killed first, like Hide or the tailor.
For the protag, I also believe he will die. I'd find it interesting if he was the chapter 5's victim, then we would switch out to a character with a hat on (we need the ahoge to live).
Also I'd like to have a situation with a double killer trial, kinda like the one from another fanmade game.
This sounds really interesting, I really love the idea of breaking the original DR format as well.
It would actually be sad if Shiori lives through the whole thing.

She seems like a really interesting character and the fact that she feels insecure and useless at times makes me feel connected with her as if she was like a real being, she really gives me the vibe of an actual human. I can see Shoto as a character like King from The Owl House, especially at the scene when he made the "Squeak of Rage."

T1: Victim = Shiori Nakagawa, Killer = Manzo Shibue
Like you said, i think Manzo fits the bill for the first murder. Either his talent or personality makes mr think so. Shiori sounds like she's gonna be a fodder character for the first trial, as she is the teacher and really doesn't fit in. I could see their positions being swapped, but i can't imagine them surviving past c1.
T2: Victim = Ikki Namiki, Victim = Toya Imamura, Killer = Uta Kawagichi.
Uta's phobias makes me think they might be a facade. She definitely strikes me as to being one of the Vices. Ikki's disability (only having one arm) could really play into Ikki's door knob phobia for a murder plan. Then there's Toya's hearing problem. And this might be the perfect time to start fucking with the old danganronpa pattern by having an early double murder.
T3 : Victim = Oniji Itagaki, Killer = Bussho Saji.
How they could still not stray away from the pattern (to still make the game feel like a danganronpa game) is by taking the reserved character, in this case Bussho... And make him go absolutely nuts.
Celeste, Mikan and Kiyo definitely have this going for them.
Another thing in the pattern is, how one victim is always someones rival and the other is very close with another character. Oniji could definitely be both here, by rivaling Oniji and being close with Chikuma Konishi.
T4: Victim = Momoe Soga , Killer = Chikuma Konishi.
Yahta doesn't per se have to die in the fourth trial, Momoe seems like a character that could be the fourth trial's dying hero. Outside of this, i really don't have alot of good trial 4 theories. Simply because they are usually very similar in plot, but it's stuff like the setting and some kinda monokuma fuckery that you can't predict.
T5: Victim = Fan Fan Long (SUICIDE) Victim =, Maru Yokokume, Killer = Kunitaro Higa
So i think this could be interesting, not only having a second double murder... But also not having a murderer becoming executed nor let free. In my theory, Fan Fan commitas cauicide before Higa kills Maru, i can however only see this happening if Higa killing Maru is justified. The execution would be the incineration of Fan Fan's corpse.
T6: Mastermind = Hiroaki Uzuki.
The only way a mastermind being one of the remaining character would work... Is if that character was the best boy/girl...OR if it was the main protagonist, and the previous best boy/girl would then be the main character.
Survivors: Hide Osako, Kunitaro Higo, Naiomi Danjuma, Yahta Stonecrown and Shoko Otoki.

He left the team because of mental health reasons. Although it will continue, it’s just on hiatus cause of the sudden departure. Plus they also have adjust to the changes. But again, it will continue on.
