Akdaş Arms Introduction Film

Ömer Akdaş from Huğlu is the founder of AKDAŞ Arms who started working in gun-making business in 1948 with a few of the best Turkish gunsmiths of the time. After a while, he designed his first single barrel shotgun and in the following years began to run his own gun workshop. Thereafter, he became well-known gor his skills and was the gun-maker beloved by many hunters. Ömer Akdaş was the one ever to manufacture the very first side-by-side shotgun in Turkey.
In 1987, when Selim AKDAŞ joined, the Company has started mass and modern production technologies. By this potential they started to produce defence product and textfile and automotive spare parts.
In 2016 the company got a Certificate of Securty sat hat they became a direct supplier of Defence Industry.
For 30 years AKDAŞ Silah has been producing defence spare parts. The Company is one of the main supplier of MKE as producing the Lower and Upper receivers of Turkish Infantry Rifle MPT-76 and MPT-55 and also MP5 semi aotumatic pistols. The Company also produces the spare parts of sub-machine guns.
In addition to these the Company has designed and produced a 40mm Underbarrel Grenade Launcher which is suitable with Turkish Infantry Rifles MPT-55 and MPT-76. By This way yhe Company has become the first and single Company in Turkey who supplies its own military in Konya.
The Company also produced the new versions of the Grenade Launchers. In addition to This they produced an original design Drummed Grenade launcher, 9x19 sub-machine gun, 5x56 sun-machine gun, rifled shotguns. The Company has so many patents and registrations of their own designs.
