King K. Rool or in this case, Captain K. Rool. Diddy and Dixie must
give it their all if they are to rescue the big guy. Here it is... K.

I miss the days where the nintendo bosses actually gave us a real fight. Yes it may be frustrating but it makes it so much more satisfying when you finally beat the boss

Yeah, like some are just too fucking easy when you beat them, like Remedi in Final Fantasy Tactics Advanced, if you ignore every totema and go for her you could clean the floor with her in no time at all.

Everything about this boss battle is perfect. Intense, difficult yet elegantly manageable, and scored with some badass music. What an awesome game.

Blocking up his blunderbuss does add an element of cartoonish humor to the battle, especially with K. Rool's reactions.

The attention to detail was unreal for a game of little less than 3 megabytes. This game pushed every boundary. A masterpiece

I know I’m a tad late to reply, by like 6 years no less, but I gotta agree. K. Rool is one of the hardest bosses I’ve ever fought. But he’s not cheap. Which makes him one of my favorites.
This is one of the most brutal final battles I've ever seen.
So much of my childhood at my grandpa’s ranch trying to beat this
The Drama of seeing DK tied up and popping out during the battle to help you out with DK barrels was so great when I was playing as kid, really immersed me
and then at the end when DK Breaks out and uppercuts him out of the ship was so hype, so satisfying and rewarding to see after finally beating him
That part near the end of the fight where K Rool started turning invisible and appearing in different parts of the Flying Kroc made me think that we killed him and were now fighting his ghost

King K. Rool is immortal. He’s too fat to die.
As a kid this fight was absolutely brutal. I died to every single attack K Rool has at least once, including the very last shot that comes after a long delay. That one... that one didn't feel too good.
This was my childhood . I fucking loved every second of it at 7 years old and still at 33. This battle is ingrained in my memory. They need another DKC *WITH* K. Rool and the Kremlings!!!
I miss those enemies the most. Out of all the platformers I've played, the Kremlins are the most full of character.
There is nothing more satisfying than seeing K. Rools face right before he gets punched by Donkey. Love DKC2
Imagine them not thinking Dixie is not one of the most important characters enough to include her in smash bros when she STARRED in two DK games and was the one you used the most in both. Smh.
Yeah but after DKC3, she didn’t have another staring role in 18 YEARS! PLUS she doesn’t even have enough of a moveset besides her hair she only hovers with. Not trying to be offensive, but i don’t think she’ll make it in Smash (for now)...

I love how they try to fake you out again in the battle - K Rool falling and giving you that natural impulse to run toward DK before he just gets back up, causing you to fall right into him.
Remember beating this boss right as my dad got home from work when the night before we had to give up and couldn't beat him. One of my favoirte gaming memories

0:17 The first thing I thought of with this boss fight was the sound K. Rool makes when he gets damaged.
I love how Donkey Kong just punched and knocked K. Rool off the mountain after breaking out of the ropes when Donkey Kong could have done that in the beginning. However, it seems like K. Rool was thinking something like "you little Kong's can never defeat me" while Donkey Kong broke out of the ropes like he was saying "I can't take this anymore, I'm not going to be a coward anymore, you're dead K. Rool."
The second fight with him was solid

Mas sem dúvida para um console de 16 bits fazer um jogo que está dentro dos jogos mais incríveis na história dos games, lembrando que existia o PS1 já nessa época e a qualidade desse jogo deixava muitos jogos dele para trás.
