These folks seem different from most African and Middle Eastern militias. They bear a more professional air, less disorganized. It's not much, but it's a step above what I'm used to seeing. Perhaps it's because they're fighting a tyrannical, corrupt government? Perhaps it's because their creed is founded on freedom? Perhaps they're mostly defectors from the nation's military and retain much of the discipline instilled in them from before?

Sharia law doesn't hurt anyone if you abide by it. like every other law in the whole world.

p.of.view i agree, sudan is my land was born wen it was one. I just hope one day they have peace sudan's history has been war since it was called the kingdom of kush. There over 500 tribes in sudan and that the problem each wants power, each wants the government dead arabs, muslim or non arabs or non muslims all hate the government, some of my tribe members have finally started to revolt against the government they are arab and muslim. my tribe however and the government are different types of arabs from each other the government is full of greed and discrimination. there are so many arabised tribes in sudan all different and all had wars with each other. I really do hope my tribe all start fighting because that would be the endof the government, they called the risegat tribe from the bagara tribe the most powerful in west of sudan and am sure if they get their acts together be the most powerful in sudan. But peace is better than war. but with sudan i dnt think peace can save it now there must be a masive war once and for all with one winner ruler of all. not sure how that could be achieved without a foreign invasion

I've been asking the same question...the US government is waging wars based on economic benefit at the moment, not on moral decisions. Many men and women over here want and try their hardest to help Sudan as best as they can but the government could care less. They want money, and they're waging 'war' strictly for economic gain even though our economy is in the shitter anyways.

Gotta be impressed by them for capturing a tank/s, considering tanks can be considered moderate or major assists thus something you don't want to loss.
