Stunning dial... wished the hand stack was tighter and the crystal closer to the dial..a minor gripe because wow that dial color and combination is handsome
Would you take this over a Bulova Wilton GMT? I know its a bigger watch but it has the same miyota 9075 movement and is priced just about the same as well brand new
If i recall correctly the Bulova Wilton GMT is a big watch at 43mm and Bulova has no reason to make such a large dress watch in my opinion. The Vario Empire GMT is more modestly sized at 38mm. It would be an easy choice for one of smaller wrists but the Bulova does have a visually appealing dial. It comes down to if you have the wrists for it!
The proportions of this watch are wrong. 38mm / 12mm with this case design is just thick. Sorry, but no for me. Shame, because dial of this watch is beautiful.
It could be thinner but I give it a passing grade as it is an automatic GMT and there are there are few dress watches with this complication that are thin without breaching over excess of $3K. Even fewer with a detailed dial as this. The closest affordable competitor is the Seiko Cocktail time GMT but even that measures in at 40.5mm wide and 12.8mm thick. But to each their own in this game.
@@WparuSlowach The Traska Venturer GMT has a taller sapphire crystal that sits above the bezel to accommodate the movement and tall hand stack of the Miyota 9075. Often it's a design choice in case construction..So yes, it can be done, I never said it couldn't be done just that we have very few dress watch GMT options that are on the thinner side, and the Traska sits on the more sporty side of everyday watches. Thanks for watching
@@perpetuality Yes, it’s done cleverly. Because in daily use you don’t feel crystal thickness at all, plus it adds character and vintage charm to the watch. I agree with you. I think Vario in that design or with better step down bezel it will be much nicer watch overall. Anyway, enjoy your day. Thanks.
Thanks for the feature!

@@perpetuality I agree with you but this movement can be fitted into 10mm case. Traska prove it. ;)
