But i want to upgrade now and try something new, could you please recommend me something under 2500 price mark that delivers a better sound and clearity than Blon's? Ps. I also tried the Tangzu Wan'er but the sub bass and vocals were so loud i thought it might punch a hole through my ears, so i had to reduce the volume and because of that, i lost almost 90% of the detail.

And it have a terrible sound . Its painful after an hour . All kz have similar sound . So do more research on youtube and make designs yourself
@raghav sharma 7hz zero. but be aware, zero is for serious listeners. its tuned like flagship iems so you might find these having very little bass. zex on the other hand has bass but tuned cheaply. bloated bass and plasticky highs. and yeah, that est driver is just another type of dynamic driver, not a real electrostatic.
@raghav sharma as an audiophile, I wil try to help but yoh have to read: I'm a basshead but I don't like bloated bass. My playlist has travis scott as well as Lata Mangeshkar to Adnan Sami. I listen to everything. My earphone collection includes kz edx pro, zex, bl03, cx180, oneplus bullets wireless z2(yes, for that thick a$$ bass), realme buds air 2,soundcore life q10(for ear shattering bass). It all started when i heard the sony ht rt40 home theater we bought last year. My taste for sound changed after I've listened to that. But sadly , anything I got has something in the bass which makes these sound bad. I found it's the tuning I'm searching for and I became an audiophile. After all the bass heavy bs I had, I started trying out IEMs. But again, all of them has that stupid mid bass bleed which made them sound cheap. Only zex had less bass but that thing sounds like plastic IEMs. After getting the salnotes zero, I'm addicted to it. Can't stop listening to music from last week. Don't expect bass, it's bass light. But there is something about this that is soooo goooood. Using this whole day and no tinnitus buzz or fatigue. Nothing. But again, did I abandon my buds z2? No, I still use them for edm sometimes.

Frequency response is all that matters for an iem. Kz iems are no reference at all. They have weird peaks and dips in the frequency response which colour the sound horribly. You need a neutral iem like sony mh1 or etymotics to get what i am talking about, or a neutral headphone like Sennheiser hd5xx, hd600, or focal elex. If you hear any of these, you will know what a gem of a sound they produce, such a smooth and neutral tonality. Kz will sound horrible against these.
Don’t get caught up in the charts my guy. I daily these and the hd6xx through a tube amp and love both. Not everyone likes a neutral tuning… sick of ppl saying “x is best but you don’t get what I’m talking about” it ruins the hobby for some lol
