Finally, you come out with a serious audiophile review. I have been requesting all reviewers of phones to cover audiophile features in the phones like high bitrate music and the supporting headsets. I started with KZ EDX Lite at a cost of 449 from Concept Kart and stuck with it for quite some time. I use them for listening to heavy metal music. A DAC does not make much difference when using this particular IEM, so I am satisfied with this entry level IEM.

Decided to take the plunge into the world of IEMs after seeing your videos and a bunch more from Headphone Zone.. Bought a KZ EDX Pro as a babystep to see if I'd like them or not but man did it put me into this rabbit hole. The crisp details where intoxicating and just could not go back to any ordinary earphones. The bass was a bit gutless though and treble a bit shouty so bought myself a KZ Castor, the Basshead IEM I'd call it. It is after the purchase of the KZ EDX Pro that I started to look into the technical side like type of driver used, sound signature etc. and decided to buy the Castor on the technical basis.. Loving the journey so far and looking forward to more IEM purchases in the coming years 😁

Good video. THE only product missing here is KZ Castor Standard/Harman. For the price of under rs.1500, they are midrange IEM Killers, also they got switches.

Go for Blon, it's old i know, but there is still nothing like it, in this price.But if you really want something latest, Chu II DSP is considerable. With some tuning it would be really close to Blon, But the relaxing sound of blon is something that you can enjoy for hours.

Hi Ershad, just wanetd to say one thing, the audio quality from the same iem may vary from smartphone to smartphone, maybe because of the dac. so just try it out on a couple of phones. in my testing, samsung and oneplus phone produce a better sound quality than pixel and motorola. btw same goes for the mic recording. just an observation on my part. Edit: The product on which i felt this is the moondrop chu 2, with the type c connector
Don't buy Moondrop Space Travel.Yes It's good sounding TWS, but way too compromises to use it daily. Bad call quality, bad battery life, no IP, no fast charging, non-usable ANC, even the case is too finicky to use. Warranty is also non-existent. I've made a mistake in thinking only sound quality matters while buying a TWS. Now I'm planning to sell it.
TWS is usually good for ANC only. For sound, nothing like a wired IEM. You do get bluetooth adapters to convert IEMs to TWS but they are not as effective as wired IEMs
@@balajiks2k yeah I know that. I already have blon bl03 and tangzu wan'er. I thought it was going to be good as it's from Moondrop. But without proper TWS technicalities it's not very useful in daily usage.
The terrible battery life and no IP rating is the reason I skipped these. A year down the line that battery will start degrading and you'll get barely 2 hours of playback. Its quite clear that Moondrop spent all their budget on the sound. The poor battery life also plagues their slightly more expensive tws, Nekocake.

OnePlus Type C to 3.5mm best I used so far better than apple and samsung ones Do not buy Chinese dongle dacs they have so many buzzing issues If you have realme vivo Iqoo or OnePlus phone it works perfectly fine

I have purchased one DAC for me which cost around 1100-1200₹ and they call it Abigail pro DAC. If someone is a beginner audiophile I will recommend two DACs one is Abigail pro and another one is Fiio*jade Audio- JA11. thay are super clear audio controllers. Loved them.

I would say, under Rs 2000, the KZ ZSN Pro 2, are some really nice IEMs for the price. I mean the ZSN Pros were already a nice pair of IEMs and the Pro 2s make he V shaped sound signature even better. I have been using em since 2 months I must say, these are really nice, the bass is subtle, and pair it with a nice DAC and voila, you will get even better sound.
I still have the KZ EDX Pro, and after 2 years, it is still working fine. However, the clarity has reduced, and the wire has turned yellow. If anyone using this IEM feels like the audio is coming in low, try cleaning the IEM, and it will be as good as new. Also, the review is accurate; the sound is too flat and might give you a headache.
The right way to clean the IEM is to suck the tips, I got this tip from a well known audiophile. Some suggest blowing but that will mess up the drivers inside, sucking works 100% and sounds come back to life.
Dude can you please share your experience of the mic which comes per bundle with it. Or if you can suggest any other good cable with inbuilt mic for this IEM

Type c wala sab roo rahe hai, q ki, 3.5mm jack smartphone manufacturers ne intentionally nahi dala. Plus, they want the smartphone to look a bit slimmer 🙄😕
Hey ershad, I have been using the Sennheiser momentum 4 for a while now and yeah It comes on the expensive side to be considered even though it's been 3 years since launch. I think so you should give that beast a try because there are many people who are really confused in that high end segment especially when it's compared to Sony WH-1000XM5 and Bose QC Ultra
I have Oneplus buds pro 2 and Moondrop Space Travel, and I would pick Moondrop over OP buds everytime for music. OP for everything else like calls, movies, ANC etc. OP buds are 3 times its cost, so its a huge compliment for the space Travel

Bought kz edc pro, and Im loving it. P.s. if you have bought edc pro, just an info that they wont sound great out of the box as they need to run in, their sound open up later after use. And they are very tuneable by wavelet eq app aswell

To be honest,as a Music Producer,I always prefer Beyerdynamic over Sennheiser.Beyerdynamic dt 770 pro is a very good option than Sennheiser HD 620S,even in lesser money.

In the last episode you did mention Moondrop chu 2 and FiiO JD1 are the best. If I need to choose between Moondrop chu 2, FiiO JD1, Tangzu Wan'er, 7Hz Zero 2 which one should I pick.
If you are an avid heavy metal listener, go for Zero 2 or JD1. If you have not used IEMs earlier for heavy metal, I suggest you try with KZ EDC Pro or EDX Lite, available in Concept kart at a good price, delivery is bit delayed but they have the best prices in the market
Zero 2 but you might want to consider simgot ew200 more detailed and soundstage for me, but again considering Kiwi Ears Cadenza, for a little above the price 2k, which is inarguably much better than Zero 2/Wan'er/Moondrop Chu, if you wanna go a bit higher then Crinnacle x Truth Ear Zero: Red is absolutely a no brainer.

Did you consider the QKZ AK6 in comparison with the edc pro? If yes which one do you think is better and doesn't the edc pro makes the sound come a lot closer to your ears?
EDX Pro is definitely better then EDC. Haven't tried Prox X can't say. But All the EDXs have a signature V-shaped tuning so you can go with that! EDX Pro is the best one under 1000. I started with that as well.
Best iem under 2000 Requirements :- Sound monitoring , Causual music listening, Sound editing etc. with good bass and vocal quality along with great fit and build
Got to know about Dita Audio Project M through your video👏 , which DAC should it be paired with? Also an option of DAC under 10k that goes with Dita Pro M
Finally someone acknowledged Moondrop Space Travel in India. LOVE IT! Also, The headphonezone edition ain't that great. The normal wan'er s.g. and the studio edition are better. I think Moondrop S.T. are good with technicalities. you can change the signature as it offers three tuning in app, namely Monitor, Reference and Basshead. Use it on reference or monitor only. ANC also is one of the best in that price range. And in terms of sound quality it is just the best period.
If someone using TWS or any other earphones under 2000, just through it and buy Tangzu wan'er. You will love this. They are comfortable and soothing to you ears. I also have KZ EDX PRO which I got under a deal of just 749 but there little bit fatiguing to my ears as I am little bit sensitive to trebble. Sound is clean though.

I like kz models, but based on my six years of experience with IEMs, I believe IEMs are much better than other devices. However, in terms of customer support, I think there's almost no help for IEMs. Therefore, I recommend purchasing IEMs that are less than 5000 rs.
Bro, do a video on earbuds that play music in hi-res and I don't mean the AAC codec only but LDAC, Aptx lossless/adaptive, LHDC.. do a review from the cheapest to the costliest one, and their sound quality and differences.. Nowadys, headphones come with built in DACS, thereby not needing a separate USB DAC. They are a bit expensive but it serves the purpose well

I have purchased one DAC for me which cost around 1100-1200₹ and they call it Abigail pro DAC. If someone is a beginner audiophile I will recommend two DACs one is Abigail pro and another one is Fiio*jade Audio- JA11. thay are super clear audio controllers. Loved them.

I would say, under Rs 2000, the KZ ZSN Pro 2, are some really nice IEMs for the price. I mean the ZSN Pros were already a nice pair of IEMs and the Pro 2s make he V shaped sound signature even better. I have been using em since 2 months I must say, these are really nice, the bass is subtle, and pair it with a nice DAC and voila, you will get even better sound.

I still have the KZ EDX Pro, and after 2 years, it is still working fine. However, the clarity has reduced, and the wire has turned yellow. If anyone using this IEM feels like the audio is coming in low, try cleaning the IEM, and it will be as good as new. Also, the review is accurate; the sound is too flat and might give you a headache.
The right way to clean the IEM is to suck the tips, I got this tip from a well known audiophile. Some suggest blowing but that will mess up the drivers inside, sucking works 100% and sounds come back to life.

Hey ershad, I have been using the Sennheiser momentum 4 for a while now and yeah It comes on the expensive side to be considered even though it's been 3 years since launch. I think so you should give that beast a try because there are many people who are really confused in that high end segment especially when it's compared to Sony WH-1000XM5 and Bose QC Ultra
I have Oneplus buds pro 2 and Moondrop Space Travel, and I would pick Moondrop over OP buds everytime for music. OP for everything else like calls, movies, ANC etc.
OP buds are 3 times its cost, so its a huge compliment for the space Travel

If you are an avid heavy metal listener, go for Zero 2 or JD1. If you have not used IEMs earlier for heavy metal, I suggest you try with KZ EDC Pro or EDX Lite, available in Concept kart at a good price, delivery is bit delayed but they have the best prices in the market

Zero 2 but you might want to consider simgot ew200 more detailed and soundstage for me, but again considering Kiwi Ears Cadenza, for a little above the price 2k, which is inarguably much better than Zero 2/Wan'er/Moondrop Chu, if you wanna go a bit higher then Crinnacle x Truth Ear Zero: Red is absolutely a no brainer.

EDX Pro is definitely better then EDC. Haven't tried Prox X can't say. But All the EDXs have a signature V-shaped tuning so you can go with that! EDX Pro is the best one under 1000. I started with that as well.

I think Moondrop S.T. are good with technicalities. you can change the signature as it offers three tuning in app, namely Monitor, Reference and Basshead. Use it on reference or monitor only. ANC also is one of the best in that price range. And in terms of sound quality it is just the best period.
If someone using TWS or any other earphones under 2000, just through it and buy Tangzu wan'er.
You will love this. They are comfortable and soothing to you ears.
I also have KZ EDX PRO which I got under a deal of just 749 but there little bit fatiguing to my ears as I am little bit sensitive to trebble. Sound is clean though.

I like kz models, but based on my six years of experience with IEMs, I believe IEMs are much better than other devices. However, in terms of customer support, I think there's almost no help for IEMs. Therefore, I recommend purchasing IEMs that are less than 5000 rs.
