Out of the box castor will sound better and zsn pro 2 has a shrill/peak at 8khz. It might sound sharp for beginners. If you use EQ then there is no better set than zsn pro 2 in my opinion. Very good technicalities

I am new to these iems. Can anybody tell me how good these are compared to regular earphones? I prefer bass and I am picky about sound quality. Would it boost my experience? What about build quality? My last regular headphone is kinda damaged. Left pair doesn't work. Would these IEM's build quality be any better? I don't want them to break. As I really hate my regular earphones not working, breakinh these would be more disastrous if they are any good along side the price.
The IEMs themselves are generally built very well, it's the cables that sometimes stop functioning properly after some time but the cables are in most cases replaceable.

The cable breaks or gets damaged, twisted, etc. Good to see for these ones they are replaceable but how expensive are they? And are these iems good for regular use? After listening to most people they say they are better than any regular even the expensive wireless earbuds. For media and music would these be any better or it would give a sound mostly for audiophiles not for media consumption. I want to hear media music for the best quality possible with good bass but not super bassy.
@@nazmulhuda3262. IEMs are not generally super bassy unless specified as a basshead. I think you would like a U-shaped or a slight V-shaped sound as per your description. IEMs are better than any regular wired IEM and can be used regularly unless you miss the handsfree convenience of tws earbuds. Even the bass in IEMs are refined and not overpowering other frequencies generally as is the case in most earbuds. The replacement stock cable can cost 60-70 percent of the cost of the IEM and upgrade cables can cost much more than the IEM itself. However upgrade cables won't make an astonishing difference unless the IEM itself is really really good which can be quite expensive and it is connected to a DAC. It's recommended to pair any IEM with a DAC (Dongle DACs are not very expensive) and a library of Hi-res music (Apple music provides lossless streaming) to get the full experience. IEMs are also fine for movies, gaming (a wider soundstage is useful here). Don't buy a sharp V-shaped sounding IEM if you dislike shrilll sounding treble, e.g. KZ edx pro; speaking from personal experience!

Overall the Castor sounds much better but may get harsh above 85% volume.
I'd still pick it though and pair it with a DAC.
