the door won't open probably because the belts are broken, loose, or sticky and the mechanism is stuck in playback mode and the head is putting pressure on the tape, you need to open it and turn the capstan, that might release the head and open the door, unless you have two motors in it and the belt that is broken is another, but that could be the problem

Just picked this deck up myself. Sounds good but the cassette doors dont open when I push eject.
