Absolutly love this artwork ! I love the mixte of vintage images with the modern art abstract shapes. What a great contrast! Great design and colors. Thanks for sharing your process. It’s very inspiring.
Fantastic video Judy! Love hearing reasons for yr decisions, choices..I have been wondering about glazing too, so an added bonus for me! Oh, and congratulations on your winning paintings a few months ago!
Hi Judy - I don’t know if you’ll see this before your workshop starts, but here goes anyway: I’m not a painter; I’m learning gel print/mixed media collage. Will collage be part of what you’re teaching? Watching work like what’s in this video is helpful. Thanks ❤
have had an ordinary day, so as you can see I have a few more to go. Started from the beginning ay "oldest" and working my way to the ":now", Wish me luck
So...what i am thinking there is too much on the page. The whole thing is so busy, . So you then make the strong paint to put on in larger areas this will push the busy bits back. Is that right?
Yes, identify which bits you like and which bits you don't like as much and then paint over those that you're willing to sacrifice for the greater good!

Did u ever try putting alcohol on a rag to scrub over a spot too dark like your red circle. Pulls up the under color.

Interesting, but I am surprised by the repletion of the telephone pole. The rest of the composition is unexpected. I guess anything goes.
