    The words WOW and INCREDIBLE come to mind as you share these for many reasons. As you narrated I couldn't help but think that I'd love to be able to see all four at once in a gallery setting, taking the time to truly explore. My favourite is the second. The colours really appeal to me and as I continued to look at it it took on an almost aerial perspective as if I was looking down from an airplane, the soft blues become the wisps of cloud. I also considered how the second and third were similar yet different, the contrast in the softness vs. sharpness. Regardless, they're all amazing. Imagining these taking birth in such a short time is yet another wow factor. Be well! ❤💚💙

    Thank you for sharing your beautiful paintings. I love them all. Your enthusiasm for trying out new techniques is so inspirational and I have been using some in my work. I'm going to buy some acrylic inks and give these a go in my paintings as the colours are glorious.
    Happy painting adventures!

    Very happy to see these, Judy & hear you discuss them. I like them all, but especially the last 2. They both had more open or quiet space. Since this is a quality, I try for in my paintings that is probably why I was especially drawn to that in yours. It looks like you paint outside. Is that true? I paint on a screened in lanai, so everything gets very dusty & gritty.

      I have a screened off patio. If I roll up the screens, I'm outside.

    Thanks for sharing these. They are all great, but my favourite is the third one. I love lots of layers but sometimes get carried away and cover too much. I’m a beginner and really enjoying abstract and layers.

    Hi Judy you mention oil sticks in this video - I love oil sticks but how do you seal them as they don’t ever dry do they?

    • @judywoodsart
      @judywoodsart  3 месяца назад

      i think you're getting oil sticks confused with oil pastels - these don't dry. However they can still be sealed with gloss medium.

    Thank you so much, Judy, your Videos are so inspiring and I'm learning a lot from you. I only wish you would take out your subtitles for they are very distracting. You speak so clearly, they are really not necessary. I'd rather have the full view of your paintings. RUclips still gives us the possibility to switch on subtitles if we want to.
    Thank you for your teachings!

      Agree about the subtitles. It would also be great if you would occasionally stand back from the painting so I can see the entire work. Inspiring, thank you.

      Just a reminder: There are some people who are older and don't hear as well as others, so it's great that Judy Woods uses subtitles.

      @@gingermalone7945of course, I understand, I'm older too, but there's always the possibility to switch on the RUclips subtitles under cc
