I need a step by step thanks. I'd love to see if I can recreate myself or have a workman do it for me. Also a material description please and thank you. Hailing from Tobago.
Love the use of the 40 schedule pvc. Really nice design as well. He would need to paint the reservoir for his water system black to avoid algae growth. As well as changing the clear distribution lines to black. Consider putting the reservoir in an area that is away from the direct sunlight. This will help the rabbits with thermoregulation. And subsequently feed intake. One of the ways inwhich they lose body heat is through their urine. So it would be best to keep their water supply cool. I noticed the output pipe coming from the top of the reservoir. I could be wrong, but you might need to re-install the outlet. Additional fittings may be required to attach to the bottom of the reservoir rather than the top. This will maintain the correct pressure that supports the "gravity fed" delivery at the water nipples.
I love this! The rabbits can't chew it down, pee & poo won't erode it, you can easily move it or change its design, even add to it. And, Mr. Hanson's adaptation of the J-feeders, so simple yet so brilliant. You guys are #GameChangers #Wow #TYforTheInspiration
Hi good night i saw your video this morning and wow, thanks for the idea i have my build from wood if you can show some more detail it will be nice, and i is in St. maarten i love your video, also from jsh Rabbits
I saw this design and am stunned by the strength of that structure i was given an idea to use 3/4" pvc for my cages and i questioned it only thing i would have done different is by adding a pipe down the middle for support but thank you so much for this
MR TREVOR, THIS IS AWESOMELY AWESOME VIDEO, FULL OF VITAL INFORMATIONS TO HELP FARMERS THAT ARE OPENED TO CHANGE. PLSSSSS DO YOU HAVE ANY VIDEO ON DIFFERENT FEEDING MATERIALS THAT COULD BE FED TO RABBIT PLSSSSS???THANKS SO MUCH IN ADVANCE OF YOUR RESPONSE AND GOD BLESS YOU SIR.
Hi Mr Bernard, thanks for your numerous educative video, am one of your subscribers from southern Africa. This design is very portable and cheap but the feeders seems expensive, can you look into plastic feeders design?
Dwl.. what Yu say mr Bernard Yu still young becareful before Yu drop good information tho really providing us with some powerful thoughts thank you again mr Bernard...bless
A quick current currency exchange puts this at about $130 USD. For 9 cages that's a bargain. Would have to do a few modifications to account for weather, but scaling differing space requirements for different size spaces, this is really a brilliant design.
This is a good look Mr. Hanson. I first saw a similar concept in another video but I was a little bit skeptical about the load bearing potential of the hollow pvc and thought that possibly pouring cement mortar in the supporting pipes would make the pipes more rigid for greater load bearing support and the roof support pipes without cement mortar. I guess I will have to experiment with that. Mr. Bernard great work. Question will the 1/2" X 1/2" galvanized mesh lead to the development of sore hocks?
Thanks 👍 This is truly the most cost effective design when I look at the numbers and if you are going into the commercial rabbittry keeping your costs down will dictate profitability and the cage setup cost is the greatest cost. Thanks again Mr. Bernard for sharing this with us.
What Mr Bernard states is credible. The 1/2" ×1/2" cage flooring puts more pressure point in contact with the padding of their feet. It means more contact bearing the load (weight of the rabbit). This means more comfort for the rabbit. While still allowing the fecal droppings to pass through. "Sore hocks" is truly a genetic dispostion of the rabbiy which is only made manifest by the wire and not really caused by it. However it can be selectively bred out of the herd.
PLSSSSS MR TREVOR, PLSSSSS KINDLY DO ANOTHER VIDEO TO SHOW US THE FULLY COMPLETED STRUCTURE FOR THE RABBIT PLSSSSS, SIMPLY BCUS YOU MENTIONED IN THIS VIDEO THAT YOU STILL HAVE OTHER THINGS TO ADD TO THIS STRUCTURE. SO PLSSSSS WE ARE WAITING ALL THE WAY FROM NIGERIA..... THANKS
Sewing the edges is a critical part of constructing this cage. For those of us with more time than money, wire mesh cages are the way to go. Unfortunately clips or hog rigs do not compare to the rigidity of sewing the ends with thin wire. The wire that holds the mesh roll is a perfect size to sew the edges. 16ga galvanized wire is too thick. Thank you for the information.
WIRE FLOORING is BAD for rabbits feet!!! This is not enough space per rabbit! Please educate yourself and stop abusing animals! You should NOT have pets!
This video has answered the question i have about the cage dimensions.
You are a life saver.

Thank you so much for the information. It is timely and well appreciated. The dimensions is provided giving a whole lot more clarity.
Thank you 🙏

Wow!! I will love to raise rabbits for meat purposes and even pet but but I’m worried about the market. Are their a lot market for it???
Ow is that pipe holding up? And the rest of the plastic??? I would think the sun will break down the pla.
Have seen the floor design in goat houses especially in Asia and floor design for rabbits in Africa except with different materials
My question what bout the rain ?? What do you do
Could the rabbits comfortably have new born kits in the cages?
Where can I get the sheets though
I'm definitely going to use this design
Nice cage set up but the sun on the rabbit can give them heat stroke.
