That’s the fun part! It’s just part of the hobby and it’s something that you have to be willing to accept or it’s just not for you.... but, it is really fun!
These are the best and worst landings, not typical landings. I have a fleet of 40 planes and couldn’t get any flying done if I got only one flight then a crash.
I know why I'm not a scale model pilot. The work, the skill, the knowledge and money that goes into making these beautiful aircraft is tremendous. Then to watch it crash-land through no fault of your own, eg gust of wind, tail spin, would break my heart and bank account.
I’ve got nearly 8,000 flying jets, and I can tell you I really admire these folk who can create out of nothing, exact replicas. To me it’s an art form, and the fact they actually fly too makes it even better. What are the best shows to take my kids to see? We live near Evesham
Sorry to see that Golden Dragon Panther break a main strut on its landing at about 10:30. About 15 years later we were still doing it in our A-4s, but it was the nosegear that usually went. Thanks for the shout out to my old Navy squadron, VA-192.
There are a few bad ones in there that I've caught over the years but generally all the pilots on the UK Show circuit are very good so rarely get it wrong. Cheers Dom (Essential RC)
Awesome compilation!!!! Just WOW WOW WOW!!! Loved the VC-10 and the Vulcan, but they were all truly great, even the trainer ones! Thanks for posting this VERY entertaining show!
I'm good at flying quadcopters and decent enough with helicopters, but I'm still pretty bad with RC planes and wouldn't trust myself landing anything of value.
Fedor Kuznetsov nice build. Good flying! I don't like to personally fly any of my aircraft with stabilization. Even my trex 600 and 700 are still flybar with only a gyro for the tail. Stabilization makes bad habits .
I love this compilation and I'll tell y'all why. The excellent video footage of "the best" landings provides a great lesson for young grasshoppers. So? Pay attention, young grasshoppers! Virtually all airplanes have four primary control vectors. Roll, pitch, yaw, and thrust. The first two control the plane's attitude and the second two control the plane's flight path. This is a, seemingly, simple concept that many, if not most, RC pilots never learn. Many, if not most, RC pilots tend to use only ailerons and elevator and that's why many, if not most, of them fail more than they should. Watch the best landings carefully and you will see what I mean. The pilots are using aileron and elevator to keep the plane level but they are using rudder to correct the heading and throttle to adjust the rate of descent. Learn the lesson they are teaching!
my experience with RC scale planes is that the bigger the scale the better the result; I also fly fullscale and the giant models mimic the true flight characteristics better when scaled way up. The smaller the scale the more squirrelly do they become
The NTSB launched an investigation following these crash reports. The investigation concluded that the pilots failed to perform a GO-AROUND after experiencing bad turbulence on final. Upon further investigation they also found that the pilots did not receive proper training for turbulent circumstances. Following this investigation the RC community was kicked out of the field for flying RC planes over people's heads causing injury.

Very Nice.
😂
agreed he nailed the apex on that one
9:23 I feel bad for laughing at that one
Dont
Me too its just feels bad
It seems to me that you go out on a Sunday and fly the thing for 10 minutes, and spend the next 10 days fixing it.
Or if you're the guy @ 8:57, the next 10 months paying for a new one
And those 10 minutes are the best minutes
That’s the fun part! It’s just part of the hobby and it’s something that you have to be willing to accept or it’s just not for you.... but, it is really fun!
On a bad day, yes. If you ain't crashing, you ain't learning. Practice makes perfection.

I agree.
Yeah...I'll stick with flight simulators. I don't have to glue it back together when I crash in X-Plane 11.

1 SUB FOR THE MOTHERLAND oh wow...trueee
Yes that's true
It looked like the end of the world bound in a video game. Then it looked like the Windows background.
Now make a mini airport with rc fueling trucks and stuff
Omg...
It is gonna need some rc fire trucks (preferably some that send a lot of water)

There are good landings as well as bad ones, and that makes this hobby so much fun.
If you slow down the play speed to .75 it actually looks pretty scale.
T Abel wow! You’re right! Awesome
Love the Air France Fokker 100
Fokker 70!
Cj Pinheiro Fokker 70 has propeller and Fokker 100 has engines
@@airbus_3209 F70 has one emergency door, F100 has 2. And is visible in this video, the airplane is short like F70.
Yeah that was my favorite, very calm final and the touchdown was bae

There isnt many, i like defford (croft farm) but thats once a year
176 dislikes = 176 RC pilots who've crashed their planes haha :P
Chris Meyers now it’s 751 rc pilots who crashed their planes
Or because of the freaking Nazi plane a little after 5 minutes.
Probably because of the bad sound with wind.

6:40 butter?
Indeed
nice save on the Vulcan at 2:42
It's just so satisfying to see a plane (Rather Rc or not) land or take off so smooth.....like....MMMMMMMM....I LIKE IT....
...every sucessful landing seems to produce a tremendous surprise and relief among both the operator and the audience.
Best landing 6:40
*Great compilation* 👍
Thanks Horst. Appreciate the feedback buddy. Cheers Dom (Essential RC)

Another happy landing
👍😁 very nice.
That little fighter that was shown at 0.23 sec, is a wicked cool ✈ plane 👍 video
Hi Dom, In fact, these are predominantly reliable landings in heavy wind conditions. Thanks to all RC pilots.
There are a few bad ones in there that I've caught over the years but generally all the pilots on the UK Show circuit are very good so rarely get it wrong. Cheers Dom (Essential RC)
Awesome compilation!!!! Just WOW WOW WOW!!!

You're welcome Chris. Always great to hear our work is enjoyed. Lots more to come so, if not already, please subscribe ;>) Cheers Dom (Essential RC)
GOOD compliation you do best !
We try to! Cheers Dom (Essential RC)
Great Video! Landings are my favorite part of flying RC.
It amazes me how big there rc planes can get and the sounds they make are super realistic.
The Air France Fokker has the smoothest landing of them all. Great pilot.
2:42 most realistic rc plane emergency looks like a real Vulcan with an engine fire
I'm good at flying quadcopters and decent enough with helicopters, but I'm still pretty bad with RC planes and wouldn't trust myself landing anything of value.
Really?! I find helis MUCH more difficult to fly. Cheers Dom (Essential RC)
I've been into helis for 12 years and just got into planes mid last year. I'm already flying 3d with the planes. I found it very easy to go to planes.
Fedor Kuznetsov nice build. Good flying! I don't like to personally fly any of my aircraft with stabilization. Even my trex 600 and 700 are still flybar with only a gyro for the tail. Stabilization makes bad habits .

2:01 such a clean landing
*LOVE* this video. Well done!
Ouch Ouch That hurt seeing them landings
Great video yet sad in places
Yeah, but they all end up in a bin bag eventually. At least that's my experience Phill. Cheers Dom (Essential RC)

That spitfire is so beutiful!!!!!!
Great video
I don't get how anyone could dislike this video.
Some weird folks out there. It's about landings, they watch landings and then decide to dislike the landings. Weird folks. Cheers Dom (Essential RC)
well, its pretty easy to dislike. title - landings - description: no take-offs, just LANDINGS .. first clip: Take-off .. thats hilarious stupid :D
Jimmy Hard , taking it way seriously n literally....... It's RC fun ......There are kids eating Tide pods ...,..now that's stupidity.
5:33 pretty good landing but then there was a Tokyo drift following it up
Good stuff, thanks for sharing! 👍👍
Great to hear you liked it! Cheers Dom (Essential RC)
I've had some real smooth landings but when the wind kicks up, most of mine are of the shocking arrival type.
Наши, мальчики, самые супер??? И дорогие, Вы наши, деточки, поклон Вам , до земли
Love these vids
3:48 - Yeah cos flying nitro planes right above the crowd and eventually into the crowd is a good idea...
my experience with RC scale planes is that the bigger the scale the better the result; I also fly fullscale and the giant models mimic the true flight characteristics better when scaled way up. The smaller the scale the more squirrelly do they become
Wow! Some top class models 👍
RC planes are nothing but planes, just smaller. But a wild experience of what a plane is like
Love the Vulcan
That vulcan with the massive wing area, you can alnost see the pressure in the ground effect :)
This is cool
those fw 190s are so beutiful
The third landing was hard cause of windshear... can't do a lot to escape that in RC world
Crosswind landings are the best!
Welcome to a new ep of why is this in my recomended

Feliz año 2020 desde Chile y excelente video 😂😂😂
I love these crashes
EVERYONE likes the odd crash. You have to feel for the pilots though. Cheers Dom (Essential RC)
The Air France 🇫🇷 airliner is really nice !! Wow ,, what a beauty
Even a RC hawker hunter looks lovely....
Any landing you can reuse the plane is a great landing.
That turbine VTOL is just incredible
Super 👍
1:30 butter
The problem is they are too light so wind shakes them
wonderful

9:27 how the ****** did they expect that to fly?
2:00 what is that?
A mix of a320 and a Lear jet?
Fokker 100
Superb👍
Appreciate the feedback Steve. Cheers Dom (Essential RC)
Any landing you can walk away from is a good one....
That's a fact! (as long as the landing gear are still attached to the plane). Cheers Dom (Essential RC)
Cool 😎
Looks like a very windy day for most of these landings
i want to lession to make a airplane.so please all of you make a clear picture quality video.it will be easy way.i am extreemly interested.
