I would vote for one more of these rather than a bad landing compilation. Field abuse is all too easy to find online, and always somewhat depressing to watch, at least to those of us who respect our zero seaters. This type of compilation, on the other hand, reminds us of what it's all about and why we're in this weird hobby at all. Please keep them coming!
The landing is my favorite part of aviation. Even in GA I will practice touch and go's slipping from one main gear to the other for hours at a time. I prefer the pretty landings over the ugly ones. When the wing pays off at just the right moment gives me the biggest thrill. Thanks for the upload. Cheers
i'm the same way. Hovering? Meh. A perfect knife edge? Boooooring Any number of exquisitely hard and well executed 3d maneuvers? Wake me when you do something interesting. A perfect sideslip, to a crab, to a sustainable one wheel, straight down the center line landing in a 20mph crosswind? Oh, geezus, i need a cigarette!!!!!!!
Crabbing on approach to entering a sideslip to then touch on one wheel is probably our favorite part of stick and rudder flying there is! There's always room for improvement with them, too, which is what's so fun about it. Constant practice. 📦✈
Right after I learned to fly RC, I'd go to the flying field on weekdays so as not to monopolize the runway, and fly several successive tanks (yes we flew "tanks" not "batteries" back then) of touch and goes, exclusively. I'd fly well over an hour per day, almost every day, just perfecting my landings. I have always thought that landing is the most satisfying part of flying, so I might as well learn how to get it right every time. And the recipe is practice, practice, practice. Eventually I got very comfortable doing landings. And on the weekends I'd see all the hotshots twisting their Curares around in the air, only to perform mediocre landings, almost as if landings were a necessary and unpleasant afterthought of flying. They'd just slam their models into the ground and that was that. I never quite understood why people would spend hours perfecting 8-point rolls, knige-edge low passes, etc, and not care about doing good landings. Then again, they probably thought the same of me, with my very asymmetric loops and poor rolls, only to grease it in when landing. To each, his own. That's the fun in the hobby.
Sooo many great landings! Makes me wanna get the T-28, P47 and 737. And then i´d somehow build a thrust reverser for that 737 lol. Side note: That 3d Heli on the water was wild, what if it tips over?
Video idea: I don't see any videos comparing the Dynam Primo to the original Multyplex Funcub. I know the Funcub is no longer available but so what. It would make for an interesting video.
There's fun in all types of landings; smooth ones, semi-smooth ones...and bags of hammers hitting the concrete. Arguably, the 4G impacts are the funniest to partake in, though. 😂
Thank God you exist. I've spent wasted hours watching videos that anticipate the landings and all I want to see is how they stick it. Easiest way to judge a pilot!
The overwhelming majority of the airplanes in this video do not have a gyro. The planes that did have gyros (which are the type that only correct for bumpy air) do not make it easier to land a plane, nor do they auto land the plane for you.
I like the part when the airplane landed
The landing was my favorite part
I must have missed that part of the video. What's the time line?

Definitely want to see the terrible landings one!

You said exactly what I was thinking too
One wheel turns on the ice 👍👍👍 fun cub stuff 👍👍👍
As a newcomer to the hobby it is great to see this can sometimes happen as well.
Yup, who'd have known 😂
I'm good at RTF, ready to fix or glue gun needed, landings! 😆
Butter plus nice operator
for me its the landings that are the most enjoyable/satisfying part of rc flying!
I've been landing all week for this.

Aren't good landings one of the most rewarding aspects of our hobby? Thanks for a most gratifying video!
THP can you please try and make an EDF turbo timber or funcub I think it would be a funny project
Viper
A Fun Cub with Twin 3300kv 12 blade 70mm EDFs on 4s Lipo? lol
@@FarmerFpv that would be undeniably epic
Already has happened, the viper and t38, they put bush gear on and tested.
@@bbbomber52 nah I mean like a fun cub with twin 64mm
Loving the one wheel/float touch and goes! You are the best stick and rudder man of RC Zack💪
The best rc asmr haha
100% pure butter🧈. Love it🤟🏼👌🏼
6:54 is my fav 😂 that wingflex tho😮
tail heavy never fails to pump us full of content. great video!
Nice job❤ the funcub was the best ❤
Truth
too bad theyre so hard to find here in america
I got the og funcub for 85 euros in Greece 🇬🇷
Fantastic compilation mate, 👌 really enjoyed that, keep them coming
AWESOME ALL OF THEM...!!!😉😉👍👍🙏🙏✈✈🚁🚁
The backyard landings are my favourite!!! I will be able to do that one day........one day........lol
I was always fascinated when the glider guys would bring in their planes and catch them mid air. For whatever reason I thought that was cool.
Amazing work as always!
I could watch that for hours.
That one hand float catch and one wheel on ice were SPECTACULAR! 👍🏻🙂

*Let the Sunshine In...*
As someone who has returned to the hobby, I spend a lot of my flying time doing touch and goes. Taking off is optional and landing is mandatory
1:17 damn that's ballsy
Please bring on that spinoff! 😆
The sportcub is one of the best RC planes ever made. Change my mind!
very nice guys 👍👍
Wake up babe, tail heavy dropped another banger
The guy with the FW 190 had it dialed in.
Hanger tour pls 🙂
Thanks!
0:43 best landing by far
I love these guys ,they are simply the best 😎🔥
Love these, make more!

I realy enjoyed it.

this video makes me want to buy more planes. if this was an advertisement for rc, 10/10 lol :)
YESSSS!!!!
pls do one to with the bad landings 🤣

Can you guys do a review or the eflite cherokee? Been thinking about buying it but wanted an honest review first.
Why does my RV-8 not land perfectly every time like yours?😅
Agree. Mine must have the same problem a yours.
i don't need a youtube video of bad landings. i just have to remember almost anyone of my own.
AIRPLANE YAY
Let's see just the tail wheel dragging across the runway.
0:27 thats a dog park now

now do 8.5 min of crash landings!
Check out our video called, "Our WORST RC Plane Crashes 2023"
mmmmm butter
You lied, some of those were not landings.
Try to do reverse hover with the pa18
If only it had the thrust to do so, especially with the inefficiency of spinning a prop backwards the wrong way
Can you make a review of Hobbyzone Aroscout or Tundra V2 please?
What in tar-nation? Landings with less than a 4G impact? Did someone lose the password for this channel?
JK. I loved the P-47 landings.
There's fun in all types of landings; smooth ones, semi-smooth ones...and bags of hammers hitting the concrete. Arguably, the 4G impacts are the funniest to partake in, though. 😂
I have the apprentice stol and that thing does good landing and touch and go in grass

Btw you guys inspired me to fly rc. I make videos now 😁
butter is being spread
Can you make another video about the FM's pa-18 super cub 1300mm please ❤❤❤❤
Where’s the no bouncers? Jk, good vid.
At 2:40 is that J-turn landing around the bush?
I don't have wheels, I just belly slide.
Like Ferrari and rope door handles.
The journey is over ,all you want to do is get out.
One wheel touch and goes you big show off I’m just happy if I can land it in one piece
Thank God you exist. I've spent wasted hours watching videos that anticipate the landings and all I want to see is how they stick it. Easiest way to judge a pilot!
We all have bad landings, though. Easy to judge but every scenario is different. We have plenty of videos of us doing terrible landings, too.
Whats that odd noise at 4:50🤷♂️🤪
Let see the terrible landings too and more of your funny commentary would be great
That's a full scale plane at 3:04
Nope! That's a CARF Fly Baby. Awesome giant scale model! Proves how scale it looks. Filmed at Joe Nall. Half scale.
@@TailHeavyProductions It looks so realistic! Awesome plane.
This needs a NSFW warning.
made rc plane dog fight
pls
What plane is that at 8:05?
One of a kind scratch-build called a Mudgy 👍
What is that? I'm here for the terrible landings xd
I did not like all the touch and goes. The title said landings I expect to only see LANDINGS!
-- Hey, I can't help, but ask that FW-190 Butcherbird who makes that model? It looks scale as sh!t!
That's our E-Flite FW-190! Check out our review on it called "E-Flite FW-190 | A Trainer?"
HH could make the best planes in the world (and I’m not saying they do) but those rattley wheels make them sound like a $.59 piece of garbage.
Ugh it's not 8.5 minutes it's 10 minutes longer wah waaahhhh my day is ruined (nice video btw)
Did i say minutes? I meant seconds
I think these rc planes use gyro stabilizer..
The overwhelming majority of the airplanes in this video do not have a gyro. The planes that did have gyros (which are the type that only correct for bumpy air) do not make it easier to land a plane, nor do they auto land the plane for you.
54 views is crazy
You guys are a satis-*factory* ! See what I did there?
Urm actually 🤓 it's 8.4 minuets
Is it wrong that I kept trying to think of a way to make Fun Cub wheels that squeak like dog toys when you land on them while watching this video?
