wow so the oldest tech here isnt the best? shocking! what an observation! its almost like amd and nvidia spent a ton of money and time developing newer AA methods that are better than the old one! i figured they would have spent all that money to make something worse!!!!! do you have any more obvious facts that you can share but do it like youve discovered something unique that nobody else knew already????????

DLAA is rendered at native resolution while DLSS is rendered at lower resolution but upscaled to your native screen resolution

but it also features Anti-aliasing regardless, much like FSR still does too.

DLAA looks awesome but unfortunately the fps isnt great on a 3080 to be able to really play the game. DLSS or FRS is probably the way to go if you dont have a 40 series

BRO USE THE FRAME GEN MOD ITS INSANE. U can use it with dlsstweaks and force DLAA so u have DLAA with Frame Gen on a 3080. Dont use it with multiplayer games but i guess they are easy to run anyway.

I can't believe DLAA is that intensive in Cyberpunk. On my system it only cost like 5 fps or something.

same here just about 5-7 fps hit with my 3070, dlaa and everything ultra except rt and ssr makes the game look incredible

NO AA and TAA just outright looks worse or blurry. DLAA eats FPS and i can't really tell the difference between FSR and DLSS

In CP2077, my performance drops dramatically using DLAA compared to DLSS on quality. Horizon: Forbidden West runs very well with DLAA and max settings though. I suspect this is due to the lack of RTX implementation.

There some settings in some games that is called (antialias FSR Improves)
It is better for me some games like Far Cry 6 was a dedicted setting for AMD FSR Improved antialias.
    It work in Nvidia to.
    At Native resolution..
In other games is called FSR Occlusion Fidelity or something like that.. the same case it add more graphic to the game with 1-3 FPS

awesome for you. but its not really a valid point is it? i mean just because my grandma cant hear well enough to appreciate the difference in $20 headphones and $500 headphones doesnt mean there isnt a difference. but to her she might as well get the $20 ones because it doesnt matter to her. a blind guy probably isnt going to care about the spec details of a IPS monitor vs an OLED, right? but i mean should we just say "well theres no difference, ask stevie wonder!"

  • @HopemanGG

FSR looks by far the best imo starting at 1:30
Some jaggies get through but the overall image is crisp.
In other comparisons TAA often has the sharpest textures with DLAA being a close second but TAA also loses some architectural details at range.
In terms of balance between jaggy removal and image detail, DLAA is probably best but also costs the most performance.
The big open question is though how things look when moving because that is often where temporal AA can fall flat.
