I had rav4, outlander and sealion here in oz.both hybrids. What i can say is performance, fuel effieciency and comfort sealion was the best among the 3.
Since BYD launched this type of powertrain system in China over four years ago, it has quickly become the best-selling brand in the market. The prices and sales of traditional German and Japanese car companies, which originally had the highest sales volume, have significantly declined, even the second-hand cars of these brands are not immune.
hi leandre, and good day. are there any dangers to the occupants inside during deep waters (flooding)? i mean, this car having high voltage batteries. i love this car though, just making sure my family will be safe in case we'll decide to purchase one 😅
Can someone clarify. As long as meron pang gas yung combustion engine hindi magiging 0% yung battery? Is it still drivable if naempty yung gas tank pero mataas pa yung Battery level?
on your first question, yes. Engine will charge the battery at a certain % level. Depende sa settings mo. As for your second question, I'm not quite sure if you can do this. In theory, it is possible.
Wala po, but they provided a tire repair kit. If you really want a donut spare tire, they have it available in Australia as an aftermarket thing. But you need to configure the trunk space to accomodate it.
it is different from the Nissan Kicks. The Nissan Kicks is powered by an electric motor to run with the help of the combustion engine as a generator that is why it is perceived to have a range of 26km/l. This however can run on pure EV for over a 100km then can run on gas if the electric motor is out of juice or can run on both depending on your speed and driving habits. Nissan Kicks have a very limited range when you use the electric motor alone and just about 7km! That is why you need the gas to keep charging the battery but if it is traffic, it can regenerate the battery through braking. With this you have a 100+ km range for ev alone, can use both ev+gas depending on your driving habits, can purely use the gas functionality when the battery is out of juice that is why it has a 1100km range
In actual fact BYD have been making plug in hybrids longer than anybody else, BYD have been making rechargeable hybrids since 2008 toyota have been doing rechargeable hybrids since 2012 so BYD have more experience than anybody else in the field. Also toyota have just announced a collaboration with BYD to use their technologies for the future Toyota hybrid range, and also Toyota are to build a new BZ3 ev using and entire byd drive train. So if Toyota are happy to use their technology that's enough for me 😊
@@KaisiirFlynn no need to charge naman if ever the battery. dahil it can run naman kahit depleted yung battery tho di lang ganon ka efficient pag walang charge si battery pero it can run like a normal ICE engine

naturally it is the future of legacy cars or internal combustion engines.
torque will no longer come from the ice, but from the electric motor.

Yes, you can run on battery without the need for gas. There is a selection for pure ev mode
paano naman po ang spare tire , meron ba?

Hi why not compare this to the Nissan kicks, also a ranger extender car? Hope for your reply

I have no doubt about BYD electric cars but Petrol engine, this something new to BYD, can we trust them like we do with Toyota engines?
Only time will tell for now
We need a time to trust. If byd wants a loyal customers, they must prove us that their engines, batteries are very reliable.
You will never know till you experience it yourself so do not trust these reviews but buy 1 and judge by your own
