The media don't report on her duties as that doesn't bring the interest that controversy from two rather vile ex Royal and his narcissistic wife create on a regular basis. I doubt Princess Anne would welcome more media attention as she was relentlessly criticised by the media in her earlier years. As a young Scout in Canada, I earned a DoE Silver and was privileged -- along with many others -- to have it presented personally by the Duke. It was one of the highlights of my life. Then-Princess Elizabeth first met Philip when he was 17, and she was 13 when he acted as escort for the future Queen and Princess Margaret when their parents visited Britannia Naval college in Dartmouth, which he was attending. I recall one biographer wrote: "Philip was the only man (the Queen) ever wanted. There were other prospects, but she only ever wanted him." She chose well.

Phillip had a sad childhood. His dad was actually the King of Greece at one time until he was overthrown and then abandoned Phillip and his mom. His mother is actually buried on Mount Olive, where she wanted to be buried, thanks to the efforts of Phillip. *It was actually Phillips grandfather who was king. But his father did still abandoned his mother and him.
She has a connection to the World Community that Her Mother, The Queen relied on and Princess Anne manages to keep it all managed in a humble and dignified manner. She is absolutely, hands down my favorite person in the 🌎.

He was the Queens rock and stay She always said of her husband. He was also good with his humour not up every bodies alley but for the most part it was always done with the utmost respect. We had a couple of snow storms before Christmas and we have a freezing rain warning in effect until later today but for the most part this year has been remarkably warm. January is usually when it gets really cold here but who knows what the weather has install for us this year. most of the areas before the plowing is done has all but gone but the piles of snow are still there as a reminder that there is more to come. Of that you can be sure here in the frozen north. LOL I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and New year celebration. We had my Daughter and her family from 22 to 28 of December it was lovely to get to hang out with them for a few days and my eldest son came on Christmas day we hadn't seen him in two years because of covid his whole crew and his boss got it too, last year. so it was lovely to catch up. My Youngest son i haven't see for 6 years now he lives in BC. How is life in Colorado springs do you have loads of snow too. I hear it is a great place to ski. Actually statistics prove that the King has done more engagements than any other royal, in the last ten years, and that's aside from his multiple other duties. Anne has also done a large number of engagements during that period. She is an excellent woman.
I think he set a tremendous example of manhood. In his devotion to his wife, and his love and support for his wife who happened to be a career woman as well as a queen, in his masculinity, his unabashed masculinity while at the same time dedicating himself to his wife. I love when he bows down to her at the coronation and pledges himself to her, and I love again when he gets up and kisses his bride on the cheek in loving support. It’s an interesting balancing act, to walk two steps behind your wife, to sign up for that which many proud and capable men might think in that day and age they wouldn’t want to do, and choosing to do so out of love and respect, And seeing how being her life’s partner was how he could best serve his country and fulfill his role as a husband and father, set a wonderful example of what a man can be.
