Princess Anne strikes me as someone who doesn't take crap from anyone ever.
What a poised, dignified, beautiful woman Princess Anne is. She would make a wonderful Queen.

The Princess Royal has always been strong, consistent, dedicated and loyal to the crown.
I love how Anne gets her own points across and when she's done simply says "Moving on.." with that kind of smiling steely look her late mother the Queen had. Anne would have made a marvelous Queen. Pragmatic, no nonsense and yet very caring and conscious of her duty.

The Princess Royal is a highly astute and intelligent woman. We are lucky to have her.
I loved Prince Philip. He was honest and spoke his mind. He made the Queen laugh all their lives together. I truly believed they really loved each other.

A brilliant interview. She speaks forthrightly and sincerely, nothing put on. Lots of wisdom and common sense. And what a great interviewer Chris Ship is. Why don't we see more of him? He is measured, calm and very pleasant.
Love Princess Anne. She speaks eloquently and very direct. Will not allow herself to be pushed to say anything she doesn't want to say. You can tell she loved her father very much.
She's as forthright as her fabulous father.
Any reporter is out of his or her depth when asking the Princess Royal impertinent questions. Princess Anne has the ability to always politely best anyone when engaging in a jousting with words. That is just her gift1 She is very intelligent both academically and she possess a huge amount of emotional intelligence and she has a great command of the English language.

The best Queen we never had!
He was and still is having a great impact on the English nation. He was a figure to respect. Yet he was approachable, kind and so loved by the Queen and nation for his grit, humour and love of duty.❤❤❤

Princess Anne has always been my favorite member of the Royal Family since I was a child. I would love to meet her.
Princess Anne embodies pure classicism and elegance. I feel she has just been freshly plucked out of the first Elizabethan age and put amongst us. Such a beautiful and intelligent presence she radiates.
Princess Anne, Prince Philip, and Prince Harry were my favorite royals. Princess Anne is no lightweight. She worked her way to championship-level horsemanship, always was true to herself, and is actually FUNNY. I love when she's got her humor on full display. I wish in this case that succession passed through the females because what a QUEEN this lady would make!

Whoever interviews Princess Anne better come prepared and be respectful and have intelligent questions. She's beautiful and intelligent.
Princess Anne is a class act, not above jumping on the London Underground to get to an engagement, she's on a different level to any of her brothers, she's a no nonsense sort of person and not afraid to tell it how it is. She embodies so much of what Queen Elizabeth (and Prince Philip) stood for.
I have always admired her, I have had few woman friends in my life that have been marvellous mentors.

I wouldn't say Princess Anne is under appreciated at all. The media don't report on her duties as that doesn't bring the interest that controversy from two rather vile ex Royal and his narcissistic wife create on a regular basis.
I doubt Princess Anne would welcome more media attention as she was relentlessly criticised by the media in her

The Duke of Edinburgh was one of my favourite royals. I saw him as kind, warm and funny with a sparkling sense of humour. He was an inspiration to many. A huge support to the Queen and I'm sure the rest of his family.

I have become a huge fan of The Princess Royal.

She is strong and confident and she has so much class and a heart of gold.
As a young Scout in Canada, I earned a DoE Silver and was privileged -- along with many others -- to have it presented personally by the Duke. It was one of the highlights of my life. Then-Princess Elizabeth first met Philip when he was 17, and she was 13 when he acted as escort for the future Queen and Princess Margaret when their parents visited Britannia Naval college in Dartmouth, which he was attending. I recall one biographer wrote: "Philip was the only man (the Queen) ever wanted. There were other prospects, but she only ever wanted him." She chose well.
Princess Anne is very beautiful, she is truly her mother’s daughter , smart, strong, dedicated, loyal, kind and fair. I’m pretty sure she’s going to help Princess Catherine get ready for her role of Queen so when she becomes queen, she’ll be more than ready.

I miss her dearly. Almost daily I watch old videos of her and still tear up.

I have always like Princess Anne, very confident without any airs. She is very dignified. When she named her daughter Zara, I asked my husband if our baby was a girl, if he would be ok with Zara. Well, we had a beautiful boy, so Zara was never to be 😊

Prince Philip was a man of character and he was there for the late Queen Elizabeth. Then he found is role and The Duke of Edinburgh Award was his. He changed so many lives. He was a wonderful man who I regard with high respect.

Phillip had a sad childhood. His dad was actually the King of Greece at one time until he was overthrown and then abandoned Phillip and his mom. His mother is actually buried on Mount Olive, where she wanted to be buried, thanks to the efforts of Phillip.
*It was actually Phillips grandfather who was king. But his father did still abandoned his mother and him.

Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal talking about her father you can tell how sincere in her answers she is about her memory of him. The Duke of Edinburgh was an amazing man for a person who was born a Prince and had no home to speak of the the man he was when he passed away. He was the Queens rock and stay She always said of her husband. He was an intelligent man who had many interests some not touched on here but he has been an inspiration to many thousands in his lifetime. He was also good with his humour not up every bodies alley but for the most part it was always done with the utmost respect. He wasn't able to be called king because of his family living in Exile, i am sure the Queen would have tried. and i am sure he understood he was her King. Extraordinary man.

@@michaelnoble6027 Hi Michael, the weather here isn't too bad at the moment. We had a couple of snow storms before Christmas and we have a freezing rain warning in effect until later today but for the most part this year has been remarkably warm. January is usually when it gets really cold here but who knows what the weather has install for us this year. most of the areas before the plowing is done has all but gone but the piles of snow are still there as a reminder that there is more to come. Of that you can be sure here in the frozen north. LOL I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and New year celebration. We had my Daughter and her family from 22 to 28 of December it was lovely to get to hang out with them for a few days and my eldest son came on Christmas day we hadn't seen him in two years because of covid his whole crew and his boss got it too, last year. so it was lovely to catch up. My Youngest son i haven't see for 6 years now he lives in BC. How is life in Colorado springs do you have loads of snow too. I hear it is a great place to ski. I have a distant cousin who used to take his family skiing in Colorado every year. I hope you are well and staying safe. Take care
Princess Royal seems like an excellent mixture of both her parents. I agree she would make a good queen, but she certainly seems to be a great help to Charles, so maybe that was always her destiny.

Actually statistics prove that the King has done more engagements than any other royal, in the last ten years, and that's aside from his multiple other duties. Anne has also done a large number of engagements during that period. She is an excellent woman.
Prince Philip's life is literally a movie. Princess Anne is such a role model.
She is a compliment to both of her parents and an inspirational role model to women everywhere.
Princess Anne's demeanor is very similar to her father, and the way she speaking looks like her mother, probably 60% father and 40% mother😊
I think he set a tremendous example of manhood. In his devotion to his wife, and his love and support for his wife who happened to be a career woman as well as a queen, in his masculinity, his unabashed masculinity while at the same time dedicating himself to his wife. I love when he bows down to her at the coronation and pledges himself to her, and I love again when he gets up and kisses his bride on the cheek in loving support. It’s an interesting balancing act, to walk two steps behind your wife, to sign up for that which many proud and capable men might think in that day and age they wouldn’t want to do, and choosing to do so out of love and respect, And seeing how being her life’s partner was how he could best serve his country and fulfill his role as a husband and father, set a wonderful example of what a man can be.
Credit to the interviewer for the flow of conversation. Princess Anne knew her father so well, there is no doubting her love and respect for her father and his achievements.
I do wish she had been proclaimed Queen.
